WWE is naturally going to be full of some guys that are, simply put, incredibly strong. However, finding the gap that separates the truly elite from the rest of the pack is quite an interesting exercise.

These ten individuals, regardless of how big or small they may be, have all made an impact in one way or another using their own feats and strength.

We aren't suggesting they'd all be world champions in the Ultimate Fighting Championship if given the chance, but you shouldn't be surprised to learn that a few of them have certainly fared pretty well in mixed martial arts.

10 Tyler Bate

If you want a perfect example of Tyler Bate’s strength, just go back and watch his 40+ minute war with Walter from NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff. Everything about that match perfectly exemplifies why he’s so good, and why he’s being tipped to become one of WWE’s biggest stars within the next few years.

The youngster clearly works out every single day, and he quite literally possesses the kind of ability and strength that you just wouldn’t usually associate with someone of his size.

There are some big things in the future of this kid.

9 Harper

Harper, formerly known as Luke Harper, was freakishly agile and quick for a man of his size. Alas, while that may have been a notable attribute of his, he was also well known for having the kind of hard-hitting style that was bound to leave a mark in the morning.

Harper could control his opponents with the kind of relentless ease that can only be described as ‘unbelievably terrifying’.

It’s a shame that he looks set to leave the company, but we’re intrigued to see what his next step in the business will be.

8 Lars Sullivan

Lars Sullivan entrance

One of the biggest promotional tools that WWE has put forward with Lars Sullivan is showcasing his overwhelming strength, and they’ve done a good job of making him look like a complete and utter monster in the process.

Things that should weigh an awful lot seem to equate to a feather in his mind, and that could lead to some very interesting storytelling throughout the course of his WWE future.

There’s no way of guaranteeing that he’s going to be the next big thing, but he’s certainly got more than a few of the attributes necessary to become just that.

7 Chad Gable

Chad Gable isn’t exactly the biggest wrestler in the world, but my god does he have the kind of amateur wrestler strength that makes him a force to be reckoned with.

The guy is just an absolute beast, and thankfully, it appears as if WWE is slowly starting to come to terms with that.

He may never be a top guy in the main event scene but he deserves a lot more respect than he’s receiving at this moment in time, and if he can string a few decent wins together, who knows what the future could have in store for him.

6 Brock Lesnar

The man is known for being an absolute freak of nature and is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. Enough said.

The Beast Incarnate is one of the most intimidating individuals in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s heavyweight division, and he was able to take that vibe back across with him into professional wrestling for his second stint with WWE.

During his first run with the company, it’s safe to say that he made a pretty notable impact, too, quickly establishing himself as the Next Big Thing – and boy oh boy did he live up to that.

5 Bobby Lashley

Aside from many of the great feats of strength we’ve seen from Bobby Lashley in the ring, there’s also the other Bobby that some fans don’t know about or haven’t heard of: and that’s mixed martial arts Bobby.

During his time in the sport, he was able to put together an impressive 15-2 record, and while you could debate the level of competition that he faced, it’s pointless trying to insinuate that he isn’t an absolute monster of a human being.

This guy always comes to fight and always comes to perform for the fans, and we love that about him.

4 Big E

There’s an old video of Big E lifting an insane weight whilst in the presence of John Cena and a number of other notable stars. From that point on, the man formerly known as Big E Langston was on a rocket ship to the moon.

While he may be a bit more of a jokey character these days, it’s very dangerous to forget about his unbelievable abilities in the field of strength sports.

His physique is utterly mystical at this point, and while he spends most of his time in the tag division, we’ve got a feeling that a singles run isn’t too far off.

3 John Cena

From pretty much owning his own gym to putting together some of the most ridiculous strength spots we’ve seen in the last few decades of professional wrestling, there are plenty of reasons to get excited when John Cena is in the ring.

He lives professional wrestling even when he isn’t a direct part of it, and that translates into what he is able to do and the kind of people he’s able to lift high into the air (Big Show x1000 comes to mind).

Cena almost certainly could’ve entered the world of strongman if he hadn’t taken it upon himself to become one of the most famous pro wrestlers ever.

2 Braun Strowman

No, the arm wrestle against Bobby Lashley wasn’t the only indication that Braun Strowman is really, really strong.

There’s also the small matter of Strowman being a ridiculously large man, and with that comes the ability to do some pretty cool stuff.

The fact that he can back it up with a genuinely impressive skill set in the ring means one thing and one thing only: he is heading for the top of the card in WWE, and we don’t think it’s going to take all too much longer for him to be recognized as the best in the world.

1 Cesaro

When you’ve seen Cesaro do the kind of things that he does to other superstars on a week to week basis, it’s kind of hard to deny how strong this dude really is.

From the swing to his finishers to his general wrestling prowess, Cesaro is one of the best guys in the business right now and we do not say that lightly.

The Swiss Superman probably should’ve been crowned a world champion by this point, but at this point, it’s nigh on impossible to deny his greatness in any way.
