WWE Superstars Are Not Happy With Their WWE 2K18 Ratings

With the release of some of the top ratings in WWE 2K18 earlier this week, Superstars were given the chance to guess how they stacked up.

The release of WWE 2K18 is just around the corner, and the latest edition in the series really does look better than ever. Featuring more match types, better commentary, and the largest roster ever put together for a pro wrestling video game, the title is stacking up to be a complete overhaul of last year's installment. Eager fans now have less than two weeks to wait until the game's release.

More and more news continues to leak out about the upcoming release, and earlier this week 2K revealed some of the higher ratings for Superstars on the game. Unsurprisingly, Roman Reigns managed to garner the highest rating on the roster with a staggering 95 while his recent foe John Cena had to settle for a measly 93. Brock Lesnar also finds himself with a 93 rating, and his conquered monster Braun Strowman came in with an 88.

Following the ratings release, IGN took the opportunity to ask some of the WWE Superstars featured on the upcoming game to venture a guess at what they believed their rating should be. Strowman was actually one of those asked and suffice to say he was not happy with the 88 he received. The Monster Among Men jokingly said that his rating better be higher than anyone else's otherwise they're going to have a problem. Seth Rollins was also not pleased with a certain someone being rated more highly than he was, and while he wouldn't say exactly who the video, featured above, suggests that someone might be The Big Dog.

While the Superstars in the video are clearly joking and not too bothered about how they're rated on WWE 2K18, for some athletes in other sports it can be a real point of issue. NFL stars have been known to get quite upset with their ratings in Madden each year. Also, Benjamin Mendy of Manchester City called out FIFA on Twitter earlier this year due to his rating on their latest video game.

The announcement of wrestler ratings on the annual video games always conjures up a heated debate. No doubt that Roman Reigns ranking higher than anyone else on the game will have ruffled some feathers in certain circles. It is just a game at the end of the day, plus the ratings are decided by a small handful of people. If the guys and girls featured in the game itself can joke about it then we should be able to not take it too seriously as well.
