The wrestling world has long been a place for familial relationships. While many Superstars get their start thanks to their fandom, there is also another unique section of any company roster filled with men and women who grew up in the business with their parents before them being Superstars. Fans grew up admiring their exploits in the ring, while they were just mom or dad to them.

Some even had grandpas and great uncles to watch them grow up as well when they weren’t wrestling. Now, these current Superstars are fulfilling their own dreams as an ever-growing member of third-generation talents.

6 Dominik Mysterio (Rey Mysterio Jr., Rey Mysterio Sr.)

Dominik Mysterio

Speaking of Eddie and Rey, Eddie’s storyline son and Rey’s real son, Dominik has recently joined the family business. Dominik’s great-uncle, the original Rey Misterio trained his father and Rey helped facilitate Dominik’s training.

So far, the young man has been as good as good can be from someone who has barely trained and was immediately thrown into top angles. He will be the first of his family to not learn the traditional Lucha Libre style, but as far as learning the grandiose WWE-style, Dominik is coming along nicely.

5 Angel Garza (Héctor Garza, El Ninja)

Angel Garza

Despite the mask meaning everything for many Mexican wrestlers, a lot of them underneath the mask are “mucho guapo.” Angel Garza, the song of former Lucha and WCW star Héctor Garza and grandson of El Ninja, has taken that notion and turned it into his gimmick on the main roster.

The lothario has been crafting a name for himself on the Red Brand, along with Andrade and Zelina as his former partner and manager respectively. Vince McMahon is seemingly high on Garza as well, he has compared him to Eddie Guerrero, which of course are tremendous boots to fill.

4 Humberto Carrillo (Humberto Garza, Humberto Garza Jr.)

Humberto Carillo

As the grandson of and son of Humberto Garza Sr. and Jr., Humberto Carrillo has been wrestling since he was just seventeen years old. Like his cousin, Angel Garza, Carillo was also signed by the WWE in 2019. Carillo scored several wins and even had some huge matches already against the likes of AJ Styles and Seth Rollins.

He too was engaged in a feud with Rollins and Murphy over what The Greater Good tried to do to the Mysterio Family. He came back to Raw in early summer for a few appearances.

3 Natalya (Jim Neidhart, Stu Hart)

Natayla

There are wrestling families and then there is the Hart Family. Every single one of Stu and Helen Hart’s boys entered the ring and all of their daughters married wrestlers as well. While not every one of the grandkids entered the ring, a good portion have, and Nattie was the first third-generation female Superstar in WWE history.

2 Randy Orton (Cowboy Bob Orton, Bob Orton Sr.)

Randy Orton

After The Rock (who was the first-ever third-generation superstar), Randy Orton has been not just the Apex Predator, but the apex Superstar fellow wrestler aspires to be - third-generation or any generation. JBL used to constantly say “if you build a sports entertainer from the ground up, it would look like Randy Orton.” That’s not just a nice quote, it’s the truth.

Nearly every time it seems that Orton has gotten too stale or even too slow in his approach he shifts gears and reinvigorates his career and the fans' perception of him. Orton’s not as flashy as his contemporaries, but he still might one of the very best wrestlers in the world.

1 Roman Reigns (Sika, Peter Maivia)

Tribal Chief

Since he returned over the summer, Roman Reigns immediately reclaimed the Universal title and has been on a year ever since to cement himself as the Tribal Leader. Like all of the Anoa’i family members, Reigns has a strong bloodline in the business, dating back to the High Chief, Peter Maivia.

His father was one of the Wild Samoans, Sika and Maivia was Sika's uncle. Fans have booed him more or less since the breakup of The Shield and now that he’s officially a heel, he’s become a sadistic one too.
