One thing is certain in professional wrestling when it pertains to championships. That certainty? It's change. As in, you win a title one night, you will not have it forever. Some championship reigns last a very long time. Others, like just about anyone who has held the 24/7 Championship, might only be the champ for a few moments.

Here's the reality of it though: when it comes to titles, change is constant. Sure, you won't know when, and you might not know who, but sooner or later, you know these title holders will change. So what does it mean? It means we are going to take a look at ten WWE Champions and predict the ten Superstars who will take their titles from them. To keep things a bit more fun, we won't necessarily have to use the current title holders.

10 Becky Lynch, RAW Women's Championship

The question is not if The Man will lose. Rather, it is a matter of when, and to whom. One might speculate that the (as of this writing) on sabbatical Ronda Rousey is the most perfect candidate on the roster. Honestly, that isn't a bad pick... but it's not the choice here. For starters, a Rousey return feels destined for one of two scenarios: first, when SmackDown shifts to Fox in October. Second would be WrestleMania season next year, which could work, except Lynch may not be champion by then.

Even with all the Superstars showing up on both brands, what with the wild card rules and all, assuming Rousey does show up on the new home of SmackDown in a couple of months, it would make very little sense to have Lynch also show up-even though WWE and Fox no doubt want to come out of the gates with some big shows.

The big question here? Will Lynch still be champion by the time we get to the fall, or even into 2020 for the Road to WrestleMania? The call here is no. The woman to take the title? Why not Shayna Baszler?

9 Shinsuke Nakamura, Intercontinental Championship

Shinsuke Nakamura should have probably won a major championship at his big WrestleMania match a couple of years ago, but for whatever reason, it was not in the cards. While it's not a WWE Championship, he looks good with the Intercontinental Championship... but as with everyone else on this list, he won't be holding onto it for forever.

The WWE roster is, honestly, ripe with a plethora of Superstars who are worthy of a championship reign. The problem, of course, is there are but a handful of straps to go around, and a lot more than a handful of Superstars vying for those titles. Some Superstars are more popular or more pushed than others, so someone who seems deserving of a championship run doesn't always get one. So who do we have pegged to take the title off of the King of Strong Style?

8 Bayley, SmackDown Women's Championship

It was a surprise to see Bayley win Money In The Bank and cash in that same night. Not that she doesn't deserve championship reigns - she's worthy. It's just that her prior time with a main roster title didn't exactly set the world on fire. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel as though this time around is any better. It is beginning to feel like Bayley is just keeping the belt warm for someone else... like Sasha Banks.

Fans haven't seen much out of Sasha Banks since she and Bayley dropped the WWE Women's Tag Championships at WrestleMania 35. The Legit Boss has been away from WWE, but is still under contract. Having Banks not only return, but return and get this feud re-ignited? Could make for great programming.

7 Roman Reigns, Universal Championship

Sure, Roman Reigns doesn't have the Universal Championship at the moment... but the call here is between now and say, the 2020 Royal Rumble? He will capture it. Perhaps Seth Rollins is unable to once again slay The Beast in Toronto, and Reigns will want a crack to avenge his friend's beating.

Considering that Reigns hasn't sniffed the belt since he had to give it up due to his battle with Leukemia last year, it's not that hard to reason that he is justified in getting another crack at it...and another run with it. Before he vacated the championship, it actually seemed like the reign was going well enough, and perhaps the oft-fickle fans were warming to Roman. Now, following his cancer scare, fans are a lot more behind him than ever, so the timing would be perfect.

6 R-Truth, 24/7 Championship

Of all the champions and championships on any list ever, including this pairing is perhaps the most obvious selection ever. The 24/7 Championship is in a constant state of change, by design and not unlike the old Hardcore Championship. R-Truth has held the title the most times, and for the most overall time, since it was introduced earlier in 2019.

It stands to reason then, that when the title is lost, odds are it will be taken from R-Truth, by any number of willing mid-card Superstars. Considering how many title holders the 24/7 Championship has had, the notion of identifying who would wrest the belt from Truth is perhaps a fool's errand. On the RAW Reunion episode, there were too many title changes to count, and in any given week there could be another half dozen swaps.

5 Flip a coin, 24/7 Championship

Sticking with the 24/7 Championship for a moment... whoever claims the belt off of R-Truth, there is one thing you could practically guarantee: R-Truth will get the belt back.

So yes, whoever wins it from Truth, perhaps they lose it to someone else, who will lose it to someone else...fans understand how chaotic a 24/7 title change can be, right?

4 The Viking Raiders

Sure, another title holder who does not currently hold the championship. This is at least partly an exercise in prognostication, after all. The Viking Raiders, while their new name has been met with criticism, have not changed their dominant in-ring ways since they arrived on the main roster earlier in 2019. While they have yet to enjoy a substantial main roster program-they've mostly feasted on jobbers lately-their time is certainly coming.

The former NXT Tag Team Champions should end up securing their first RAW Tag Team titles in the not too distant future. They are an excellent team, and a title reign would just help solidify their position on the main roster.

Once they secure their title reign, however, they will have targets on their backs. And there will be a new challenger to take the tag belts from them.

3 Ricochet, United States Championship

Ricochet has been impressive since he debuted on the main roster in February. He was a surprise call-up from NXT at the time, but he has shown that he is more than ready for the brighter lights and bigger opportunities.

He has already enjoyed one United States Championship run, though it was brief. He is, however, feuding with current champion AJ Styles. The expectation is that at some point, whether at SummerSlam or shortly after, Ricochet will reclaim the United States Championship. With some luck, hopefully, he will have a longer run the second time around.

But, all good things must come to an end, and let's see who knocks him off the mountain!

2 Kofi Kingston, WWE Championship

Who among us has not enjoyed KofiMania? It has been an incredible run, to be sure. It came seemingly out of nowhere, and it was as enjoyable - perhaps even more so - than when Daniel Bryan rose to prominence and had his own WrestleMania moment a few years back.

Surely some fans expected that the New Day member would have actually dropped the championship by now, but for one reason or another, he has retained the strap and shows no signs of dropping it any time soon (but, that could probably be said for most champions).

However, as much fun as his championship run has been, all good things do come to an end. So, who takes the title?

1 The Kabuki Warriors, WWE Women's Tag Team Champions

As of this writing, they are not champions yet, but the thinking is it's just a matter of time. Asuka and Kairi Sane have been impressive, and with Paige's guidance it really is just a question of when they become champions.

The hope is a run for Asuka and Sane could reignite interest in the titles, and perhaps line up an exciting new feud. The question is... with what team?

The Superstars who defeat them: Some combination of The Four Horsewomen of MMA

Likely this would be Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke, but Shayna Baszler could be in that mix too.
