Bayley was able to retain her SmackDown Women's Championship against Charlotte at Sunday's Clash of Champions pay-per-view, but she was forced to defend the title a second time on Tuesday.

The Hugger didn't compete during SmackDown Live this week, but following 205 Live, fans in Atlanta were treated to a special main event - where Bayley defended her title against Charlotte once again.

Once again, Bayley was able to score the victory over The Queen, using a roll-up pin after Charlotte was arguing with a referee after trying to use a steel chair. You can see how it all went down below, thanks to this fan:

Although she didn't wrestle on SmackDown, Bayley interfered in the Charlotte Flair-Sasha Banks match. This resulted in a victory for Charlotte via disqualification, but Bayley and Banks proceeded to attack her immediately. Finally, Carmella came out to help Charlotte and put an end to the trouble that Banks and Bayley were causing.

This is setting up nicely for a potential rematch between Charlotte and Bayley at the upcoming Oct. 6 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Sasha Banks, who lost to Becky Lynch at Clash of Champions, will get a rematch for the Raw Women's title at the upcoming PPV.

Bayley and Charlotte have quite a history going back to their NXT days, and they're both widely responsible for the rise in the women's division. Their matches never disappoint, and their feud is unlikely to go away any time soon.

Charlotte and Bayley have mainly portrayed heel and babyface roles, respectively, throughout their careers. But the roles have flipped completely here, and Bayley's heel turn has been a nice change for the SmackDown brand.

What's Next For Bayley and Charlotte?

Considering the brutality of Bayley's recent attack on Charlotte, it's safe to say that their rivalry is going to continue over the long run. The WWE draft is coming up in October, but it'd be a major surprise if they were moved to opposite brands. Charlotte and Bayley are in the midst of perhaps the greatest chapter of their rivalry yet, and there's no reason to pull the plug on it right now. Surely, another title match between these two is in the works.
