Brittney Zahra Schreiber 102714

It's known that WWE often needs to get some bad press before changing things. Now that's occurred.

In the wake of the firing of Zahra Schreiber following the discovery of tweets involving Nazi imagery she made in 2012, WWE is now doing full background checks of the social media of prospective talent before hiring. It's already been reported that WWE agents are "encouraging" such talents to immediately delete any such postings from their past, especially sexually explicit posts from female workers.

While a step in the right direction, the sad truth is that it's all too easy to discover deleted material somewhere on the Internet and a reminder for any prospective WWE workers to be careful what they post online.
