Total Divas gives viewers a glimpse into the lives of WWE's female stars and their companions. Couples such as Nikki Bella and John Cena along with Natalya and Tyson Kidd have been with the show since its premiere. However, in later years there was the addition of Lana and Rusev to name a few.

These WWE stars allowed cameras to follow their every move, whether it was at home or at work. Some pairs weren't given enough attention, while others were constantly onscreen - for better and worse. For today's list, we'll examine 5 Total Divas couples we wanted to see more of, and 5 we wanted to see less of.

10 MORE OF: Alexa Bliss & Buddy Murphy

Alexa Bliss joined the cast during season seven, and fans did get a brief glimpse into her private life with her fiance Buddy Murphy. In one episode, Alexa and Buddy meet Nia Jax for lunch. Nia then begins questioning the couple about their wedding plans, which Alexa tried to avoid answering.

Viewers felt that their relationship could've been featured more throughout the season as they dealt with balancing work and their love life. Alexa's time with Total Divas only lasted one season, and shortly afterwards she ended her engagement to Buddy.

9 LESS OF: Paige & Kevin Skaff

Fans were surprised when anti-Diva Paige joined the show in season three. Paige let fans in on details into her personal life, including her boyfriends. During season four, she introduced viewers to the new man in her life musician Kevin Skaff. Despite his appearance, Kevin was a gentleman and was in love with Paige.

However, their relationship wasn't without drama. When Kevin proposed to Paige, she accepted, but later changed her mind, deciding she wasn't ready for a big commitment. Many fans were disappointed in Paige, who they felt was stringing Kevin along.

8 MORE OF: Renee & Dean

Renee Young and Dean Ambrose are known to be a private couple, so it was a shock when they were announced for the show's sixth season. Dean definitely lived up to his lunatic fringe gimmick, however he also proved to have a soft side when he told Renee all he wanted was for her to be happy.

Fans loved seeing the two on Total Divas and were said when they left after the season was over. While their time on the show was short, fans will still have the memory of Dean chasing after the hat thief.

7 LESS OF: Cameron & Vinnie

Cameron was a regular cast member on the series for three years. During that time, her relationship with boyfriend Vinnie was a major focal point. Vinnie was supportive of her career, however he did have some concerns about her work. As for Cameron, at times she appeared to be bossy and had a bit of a temper.

Aside from that she also appeared to have issues with commitment. When Vinnie brought up the topic of marriage, Cameron seemed scared. The couple did have their fair share of problems, and they split after they were removed from the show.

6 MORE OF: The Miz & Maryse

After nearly a six-year absence, Maryse returned to WWE in 2016 to be the valet for her husband The Miz. Aside from appearing on RAW, the couple was also part of Total Divas. Miz and Maryse quickly won fans over as they got a glimpse into the A-list pair's life in Los Angeles.

Despite appearing high-maintenance, the two were a fun, down-to-earth couple. Even though their time on the E! show didn't last long, the couple are now the stars of their own reality series Miz & Mrs on the USA Network.

5 LESS OF: Carmella & Corey

Carmella first appeared on Total Divas during the seventh season with her then boyfriend wrestler Big Cass. She and Cass would later split, and Carmella would take a hiatus from the show. However, she returned for the ninth season and joining her was her new man, WWE announcer Corey Graves.

On the show, Carmella wanted to set the record straight about her relationship with a recently divorced Graves. While some viewers applauded the two for going public, others felt it was too soon for them to showcase their personal lives on television.

4 MORE OF: Lana & Rusev

Viewers were in for a treat when Lana and Rusev were added to the cast. Even though Rusev portrays a tough guy on WWE television, in real-life he's a sweetheart. He won over fans with his romantic gestures towards his wife. Being the supportive husband that he is, Rusev went along with any crazy scheme Lana concocted to get publicity for them.

For three seasons, The Bulgarian Brute and The Ravishing Russian graced the Total Divas scenes. Lana and Rusev's departure meant fans would no longer get to witness their entertaining hijinks.

3 LESS OF: Eva Marie & Jonathan

Eva Marie and Jonathan's relationship was filled with drama from the moment they said "I do." The couple eloped after just a few months of dating so when she finally introduced her husband to her family, they didn't take the news well.

During Eva's time on the show, she was constantly playing peacemaker between her husband and her parents. When Jonathan wasn't arguing with his in-laws, he was fighting with Eva. In 2017, Eva was released from WWE and she was also kicked off the show, giving fans a break from her and Jonathan's never-ending problems.

2 MORE OF: Naomi & Jimmy

Naomi is one of the show's original cast members, and she and her husband Jimmy Uso have been featured regularly on and off for the past nine seasons. Given that and the way they interact onscreen, it's no wonder that Naomi and Jimmy have become one of the most popular Total Divas couples.

Throughout the years, viewers have watched the couple get married and Naomi adjusting to her role as stepmom.  The two have provided plenty of fun moments as they tried to spruce up their love life by going on romantic dates. Naomi and Jimmy are a delight onscreen, and viewers can't get enough of this pair.

1 LESS OF: Nikki Bella & John Cena

As the girlfriend of WWE's top star, Nikki Bella and John Cena were the most featured couple on Total Divas. Even though they appeared to have a good life, viewers soon learned trouble was brewing.

The two often discussed their different opinions regarding marriage and children. Many fans believed Nikki was sacrificing her dream just to make John happy. John eventually changed his mind and proposed to Nikki, however, they would never make it down the aisle. While the split was heartbreaking, fans were relieved because they felt Nikki deserved better.
