As the mania of WrestleMania grows, so too does the grandiose entrances. Taiko drummers played Sting to the ring at WrestleMania 31. When everyone else rode to the ring on the iconic mini-rings at WrestleMania III, Roddy Piper stomped and charged to the ring in his “final” match. The Rock had a flamethrower for his entrance at 32 while Chyna had her own fireworks cannon at X7.

Sometimes how you enter into the Showcase Of The Immortals is one of the most memorable things you could do in your career. Which entrances do you remember? Here are the 10 greatest WrestleMania entrances of all time, ranked.

10 Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania XII

All of the build to WrestleMania XII was about putting the spotlight squarely on The Showstopper. Videos were shown of Shawn doing upside down push-ups featuring him at the young upstart while videos of Bret training showed him a lot less flashy getting stretched by his senior citizen dad. The Iron Match was the grand culmination of a year of buildup. Good ol’ HBK just had to get to the ring first. The Heartbreak Kid was high atop the arena, zip lining into the ring, in a moment that is still on highlight reels to this day.

9 Rusev - WrestleMania 31

After dominating the main roster, winning the US title, and being undefeated for nearly a year, Rusev had established himself as a force to be reckoned with. What better way to celebrate that dominance than roaring into WrestleMania on a tank!

For a guy entering his first WrestleMania or any WrestleMania for that matter, it was an impressive sight to see. For plenty of fans, they cite this moment when they scratch their heads about how the booking team has ruined Rusev - “but he came out on a tank!”

8 Triple H - WrestleMania 31

Nearly every WrestleMania, The Game hatches some completely bat-crap entrance befitting of the King Of The Kings and heir apparent. For WrestleMania in Levi’s Stadium, Judgement Day had come for his opponent, the legendary Sting.

A video played throughout the arena of shots of San Francisco and the desolation that was to come. Terminators invade the stage and the T-800 itself, Arnold declares that “it’s time to play the Game.” The Cerebral Assassin arrived with his own enhanced cybernetic getup and the skulls of destroyed Terminators.

7 Daniel Bryan - WrestleMania XXX

Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 30

Triple H had a grand entrance at WrestleMania XXX, but the entire night belonged to Daniel Bryan and the Yes Movement. The crowd at the Superdome was going bananas, screaming “Yes, Yes, Yes” even before Daniel Bryan’s music hit for his first match of the night. They were chanting for our hero of the day all throughout WrestleMania. But by the time the main event started, the already rabid Superdome was primed and ready for Bryan to topple all of the odds. There was no wild pomp and circumstance, just an entire Universe 100 percent behind the American Dragon, a sight to see over any grand entrance.

6 Shinsuke Nakamura- WrestleMania 34

Fans of Shinsuka Nakamura know full well the grandeur that The Artist likes to make just walking into a room. What do you expect from a guy that cites the incomparable Freddie Mercury as an influence?

New Orleans was the site for the epic dream rematch between AJ Styles and Nakamura. Guitarist Nita Strauss and an army of violinists played Nakamura to the ring as the capacity crowd sung along - to a song without words as Shinsuke basked the glory he helped to create.

5 The Undertaker - WrestleMania IX

WrestleMania IX is quite possibly number one on any list for the most forgettable WrestleManias of all time. But it still had some moments. If you’re a Hogan fan you liked him somehow winning back the WWE title despite not being booked in the main event. But it was the Deadman that would leave the most indelible mark on the show. He was carried to the ring on a Roman Death Chariot complete with a giant vulture perched alongside the Phenom.

4 Triple H - WrestleMania 33

WrestleMania 33 was the ultimate thrill ride and The Game arrived in style. For his Unsanctioned Match against the soon-to-be Kingslayer, Seth Rollins, the entire arena was basked in Hunter’s signature green hue. Motörhead blasted throughout the arena as a police motorcade readied itself on the stage. Triple H on a mammoth bike of his own with his main squeeze, Stephanie right on the back of it. Sirens rang out and the Game rode into the battle.

3 Edge - WrestleMania XXIV

Over the years, Edge has been one of the superstars that has said that the Streak has become just as important as any title match at WrestleMania. That made his World Heavyweight Championship match with the Deadman at WrestleMania XXIV all the more special. After the Undertaker stalked his way throughout the flames, thunder, and lightning, Edge was off the rails intense as Alter Bridge boomed throughout the arena. The Rated-R Superstar was as pumped as any Star ever as his smoke and rainbow colored fireworks blasted on the Grandest Stage Of Them All.

2 CM Punk - WrestleMania XXIX

Getting played to the ring by the band who does your entrance music is one of the coolest ways to enter a WrestleMania.

For WrestleMania XXIX in New York, New York’s own Living Colour helped CM Punk let the world know it was “Clobberin’ Time” as the iconoclast and Paul Heyman paraded to the ring with Deadman’s urn. It was Punk’s first big time entrance into battle, no one realized that it would be his last.

1 Charlotte Flair - WrestleMania 34

For nearly every Starrcade, her father knew how to make a entrance. Charlotte would, like so many of his opponents over the years, pay homage to the man. The lights went dim at the Superdome and once again “Also Sprach Zarathustra” would ring through the arena as the Queen was bathed in a golden light and Centurion Warriors helped her off her throne, the commoners in attendance “wooed” in adulation as once again a Flair took their bright duly place on the Showcase Of The Immortals.
