Considering that our readers' demographic are very diverse, we put a 10 year window for this list. There are fans who grew up in different eras from the 80s to the Monday Night Wars, and then later on the Ruthless Aggression - more than 10 years have passed by since the end of those eras, which qualifies these wrestlers to be on this list. When it comes to professional wrestlers, they are expected to have a great look unless they happen to have a unique character. That statement is especially true in the WWE where Vince McMahon is known for preferring his Superstars to have a believable and intriguing look.

And while most wrestlers tend to be in good shape, especially from previous eras where physique mattered more than it does in the industry today, there are many who have managed to turn back the clock by outdoing themselves. There are plenty of wrestlers from our childhood who now look like they have never stepped inside a squared circle, but that doesn't apply to everyone.

Some have been fortunate enough to avoid major health problems thus far, but they have also went an extra step to achieve remarkable results with their workouts. They say that you are only as young as you feel, and these wrestlers seem to live by that motto - as many continue to train as they did in their younger years. With today's list, we look at 15 former wrestlers from our childhood that look even better today:

15 Chris Masters

via allwrestlingsuperstars.com

When young Chris Masters debuted in the WWE, he was still very green at the time. He hadn't been wrestling for long and was limited with his move set, while his charisma was obviously nothing to write home about. But Masters rose relatively quickly through the ladder since he had the approval of Vince McMahon. Rumours suggested that Masters reminded him of Lex Luger, which would explain his character and overall appearance. Masters' character was practically boiled down to being in top physical shape, while also being able to put any Superstar in the Masterlock.

Following his first stint, Masters would greatly improve as a wrestler and overall performer.

Despite this he wouldn't get a legitimate chance to show it again in the WWE. These days, Masters remains active on the independent scene after having had a successful period in Impact Wrestling. And as you can see, he still looks very much like himself - and some may argue that he looks better overall. In the case of Masters, his muscles may not be as freaky anymore but that has worked out for the better since he looks much better overall. He looks more natural and overall still in excellent shape.

14 Vladimir Kozlov

via twitter.com

There was a time when Vladimir Kozlov was a main eventer player for some months, but considering how his career turned out, WWE certainly wouldn't want fans to remember those moments. Not only did he dominate so many Superstars along the way, but he even defeated The Undertaker in a one on one match. But Kozlov was clearly not good enough to have that spot, as he had been the typical foreign heel who beat up on everyone - prior to his switch to a comedy act. On top of questionable talent and experience, Kozlov had a very bland look that failed to connect with the fans.

From theme music to ring attire, there was nothing memorable about him during his days as a WWE Superstar. But these days, Kozlov is looking like a true heel who could destroy anyone on the WWE roster. He is in superior shape compared to ten years ago, and seems to always get better with age. If Vince McMahon were to see some recent photos of Kozlov, then we wouldn't put it past him to bring him back for another WWE run - which would probably work out much better than his first stint.

13 Billy Gunn

via twitter.com

Billy Gunn has always been in great shape throughout his WWE career, which was one of the very reasons as to why the company attempted to push him to the main event. And while Gunn did have some brief runs on the upper position, he always returned to mid-card or tag team competition. Most will agree that he was a decent all-around wrestler although he didn't exactly stand out in one specific area. There was a time when Gunn may not have attracted the most attention when rolling out with his D-Generation X partners, but he is currently in the best shape out of all members.

Despite being 54 years old, Gunn looks like he is still a full-time Superstar for the WWE. Based on his social media, it's easy to see why Gunn still looks as good as he does. He has made it his priority - dedicating most of his time to being healthy in more ways than one. And the results are clearly paying off at the moment considering that he looks half his age. Fans are always surprised to see that Gunn still resembles his younger self as far as physical appearance and is in great physical shape.

12 Al Snow

via twitter.com

Al Snow comes from an era where it was crucial for a professional wrestler to be in great shape to make it. There were plenty of Superstars who simply got an opportunity due to their physique with some receiving main event pushes for that very same reason. During his career, Al Snow has never let himself go although there was a time when he put on some pounds. But as seen in the photo above, that didn't take too long as Al Snow has once again been tearing it up in the gym. He currently has one of the top physique for wrestlers from his era - and would put the majority of WWE Superstars to shame.

Not only has Al Snow clearly dedicated much of his time to the gym, but he has also adapted a new look with the recent haircut he has chosen.

A combination of both has shed many years off of Al Snow's perceived age, making him appear to be much younger than he is. As evidenced by his Instagram page, Al Snow is currently shifting the majority of his attention to exercise as he has been sharing plenty of related content over the past year.

11 Trish Stratus

via instagram.com

When Trish Stratus was signed to the WWE, she had no previous wrestling experience as she had been working as a model. And during her early career, she wasn't competing much in the ring, although she did have a recurring role due to her appeal. Trish quickly rose through the ranks thanks to her popularity, looks, as well as her in-ring performances - making her one of the most complete female wrestlers in WWE history. Since leaving the WWE, Trish hasn't stopped looking like herself at all as she leads a very active lifestyle.

Some may even argue that she looks better than ever these days, and we wouldn't oppose that point of view after seeing her at the 2018 WWE Royal Rumble. The WWE Universe tends to chant "You Still Got It" for every returning Superstar, but Trish certainly earned the praise with her current appearance. Not only is she able to put on a decent match, but she also looks very fine doing so. Now that she is a mother of two, some may assume that Trish is no longer taking care of herself - at least compared to her modelling and wrestling days - but that couldn't be further from the truth.

10 X-Pac

via twitter.com

Considering the tough years X-Pac has had in the 2000s, some would assume that he is currently looking flabby like the majority of his peers. There were some health issues that clearly took their toll on him at some point, but in recent years X-Pac has managed to turn his life around in more ways than one. Not only he has been more insightful throughout interviews and social media commentary, but X-Pac is quite possibly in the best shape of his life. He has always been relatively skinny for a professional wrestler, especially since he had to stand next to the likes of Triple H, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

But it seems like X-Pac is no longer satisfied with his usual physical appearance, as he has clearly bulked while adding mass along the way. His WWE career may have turned out to be better if he had been this dedicated during his various stints. And while he has been a part of some memorable moments in wrestling history, there are plenty of fans who feel like X-Pac could have reached even higher heights especially during the Monday Night Wars. It is good to see him making strides and continuing to stay in great shape now.

9 Jeff Jarrett

via twitter.com

For the past 15 years, Jeff Jarrett's appearance hasn't changed very much as he has been able to retain the same look. Time has been kind to him thus far as Jarrett's hair remains in tact, while showing very minor signs of ageing. And while some of his peers look just about ready to enter a retirement home, Jarrett is looking even better than he did during his younger WWE days. At the time, he was rocking the long hair and had a very 80s appearance. And while it did work enough to make him a successful mid-card wrestler, he clearly needed to make some changes to move up to the next level.

These days, he is still looking like a main eventer - at least in the standards set by Vince McMahon. In April, thousands of fans got to see Jarrett for the first time in a while as he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He had been absent from WWE television for nearly 17 years prior to his return - as most fans felt that he would never be allowed back into the company due to old tension between himself and Vince McMahon.

8 Tommy Dreamer

via wikipedia.org

So many of ECW's stars seem to have aged fairly well compared to their peers, and among them is Tommy Dreamer who looks just as young as when he first started making a name for himself. Dreamer has been lucky enough to keep all of his hair - which certainly assists in giving him some extra years - and the facial hair has been a suitable adjustment as he got older. To his credit, Dreamer is in the best shape we have seen him in many years. There were times when he appeared to be putting on some weight, but Dreamer appears to have stepped up his training a notch.

Like many names on this list, Dreamer is already familiar with what it takes to lead a healthy lifestyle, and certainly has the access to achieve his goals for his health and physique. Dreamer has also benefited with age - adding some more flavour to his personality as he had been somewhat bland in the past, especially during his WWE stints. While fans always lightly cheered him, he never really connected on a huge level. But his history, personality and longevity have made him a respectable figure in the wrestling industry.

7 Torrie Wilson

via pinterest.com

For many years, Torrie Wilson was arguably the finest Diva in the WWE as she graced the cover of top magazines around the world while also stealing the heart of the fans. There are many Divas from that very same era who could once give Wilson a run for her money, but time has not been nearly as kind to them. Luckily for Torrie, she is looking anything but 42 year old these days - made even more evident following her cameo at the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble. To this day, Wilson is still very popular among fans as she has an impressive following on Instagram.

A quick glance at her profile will likely give you a great understanding as to why fans are still intrigued by Wilson to this day.

Since hanging up the wrestling boots, Wilson has embarked on various ventures - most of which are related to fitness and modelling. She has also been promoting her healthy lifestyle across her social media pages, as she serves to train folks who register on her website. And based on how great she looked at the Royal Rumble, we can only guess that the demand has gone up since then.

6 Booker T

via forbes.com

Although Booker T has been away from the ring and serving as a commentator for a number of years, he still carries the look of a Superstar to this day. Unlike some of his peers, Booker has yet to depart with his hair - retaining the very same look that he had throughout the majority of his time in the WWE. Booker T also has a wrestling school where he serves a trainer, which has certainly helped him in staying in top shape. He looks ready to get back into ring action at any given moment as he happens to be in better shape than most of the current WWE Superstars.

And when it comes to passion, Booker T still has plenty of it as evidenced by his continued involvement in the wrestling industry. There aren't many people who would guess that Booker T is currently 53 years old, as he hasn't aged much since his days as King Booker. The most drastic change we saw for Booker is when he grew his hair in 2002 - which has now become his signature look after all those years. He has kept it, and it almost serves as a time capsule to preserve his youthful appearance for a long time.

5 Steve Blackman

via markedout.com

Steve Blackman is a name you don't hear often these days as he has been away from the WWE since his departure in 2002. Despite having been apart of the company for a number of years, Blackman doesn't appear to be on the best of terms with the company. He served as a decent mid-carder during the Attitude Era and brought some memorable moments along the way. The majority of our readers probably haven't seen Blackman in over a decade, which is why they may be surprised that his appearance hasn't drastically changed over the years.

Sure, he has gone grey since then but some would argue that it suits him even more than his previous look.

Known for his impressive physique during his WWE run, Blackman has been able to hold on to that reputation as of today. There are some Superstars who don't look recognizable at all these days, but the same cannot be said about Blackman. If he were carrying a kendo stick, not many fans would confuse him for someone else - as it became his infamous weapon of choice during the course of his career. It truly is remarkable how he has managed to look almost identical to his wrestling days.

4 DDP

via twitter.com

At 62 years old, DDP is now more than old enough to be a grandfather. But if you happen to be unfamiliar with his age, then you would have shed around two decades off his age. DDP might not look quite as good as his WCW days, but he is certainly looking better than what we saw from him in WWE. He continued to wrestle at an advanced age before moving on to his very own DDP Yoga, which has been a massive success. Not only did his program assist many of his peers such as Chris Jericho, but DDP also saw some tremendous results that set the clock back a few years.

Since then, he has completely dedicated himself to fitness - helping some of his industry friends as well as fans who reach out to him. In his last few appearances in WWE, DDP looked more than ready to return to action and is in better shape than some active roster members. He was still moving very smoothly while being able to execute a Diamond Cutter just as well as we remember. If you were a skeptic of DDP Yoga, then you surely must have been convinced otherwise after seeing how gracefully he has aged.

3 Lance Storm

via wikipedia.org

It's been thirteen years since we last saw Lance Storm on WWE television when he defeated Chris Jericho at ECW One Night Stand. Many consider him to be among the most underrated wrestlers as he was never given an opportunity to advance further despite being one of the most talented in-ring performers of his generation. Storm would instead find himself stuck with some ridiculous gimmicks, including the time when he was partying the entire time while putting on some cringe worthy dance moves.

Despite not having had the most memorable stint with the company, Storm has managed to develop a following due to his involvement in various facets of the industry, as well as his extensive knowledge to this day. He is still competing on the independent scene these days although his appearances have gotten very few in recent times. But Storm hasn't changed much, if at all, since his younger days. If anything, his arms are now even more ripped - an impressive feat since he is closing on 50 years old. Some may not have expected Storm to age as well as he did since he always had a bland look, but father time has given him a pass for now.

2 Stevie Richards

via instagram.com

For nearly a decade, Stevie Richards was a WWE Superstar whose role revolved around putting over fellow Superstars. He has been given some minor pushes from time to time, but certainly not enough investment to get his character over with the fans. But Richards could do his job very well, and also had a very good look for a WWE Superstar. That is probably the reason why he managed to stick on the roster for so long despite not having done much over the years. Richards is still active on the independent circuit - making sporadic appearances through the year - and it is crystal clear that he looks just as good now.

With the addition of the beard, an argument could be made that Richards is looking better than ever these days. He has shown his impressive physique on his Instagram page to serve as a motivational figure for those who are attempting to get into shape. With inspirational messages and tutorial videos available on his page, Richards is a must follow if you happen to be a wrestling fan who is also interested in fitness.

1 Mick Foley

via youtube.com

In an industry as shallow as professional wrestling, Mick Foley is one of the few stars who reached the top of the mountain despite not having the appearance of a world-class athlete. But considering his various gimmicks and immense charisma, Foley never needed to be in top shape nor did he have to look like a model to gain the support of the fans. After having had the same look for two decades, Foley finally decided to change things up by cutting his hair short and fixing up his facial hair.

The results turned out to be better than expected as Foley looked more like a classy gentleman rather than Dude Love. At 52 years old, Foley looks better than he did upon winning the WWE Championship for the first time ever. Not many Superstars could boast about such an achievement as so many of his peers look like a shell of themselves now. But as long as he doesn't gain weight and maintains his hair, then Foley will probably be maintaining that very same appearance for a while. There may come a time when father time finally gets the best of him, but it has yet to arrive.
