WWE stars dedicate their lives to their careers, but many wrestlers are able to start families despite being stuck on the road for 300 days a year. Incredibly, there are many mothers and fathers in WWE right now who are being forced to spend the better part of their time on the road away from their children. The gruelling schedule of the WWE can be enough to scare any wrestler away from starting their own family. But for every wrestler who opted out of having children, there is another who has taken on the challenge of being a full-time wrestler while being a full-time parent.

Many WWE stars were actually forced to work on Christmas and Boxing Day back in 2017 as well, which was probably the worst thing possible for many of the stars who have young children who would want to spend that time of year with their parents. In a world where almost every wrestler has Social Media and shares their personal life online quite openly, it's a shock that there are still many stars who have been able to keep their family life secretive enough that even their biggest fans are unaware that they have children.

The following list looks at just 15 wrestlers who many of the WWE Universe didn't know had children. It seems that Heath Slater isn't the only wrestler who needs his job because he has a number of mouths to feed.

16 15. Apollo Crews

Via Pinterest.co.uk

Apollo Crews was once the human highlight reel of NXT. Unfortunately he hasn't been able to make the same kind of impact on the main roster since he has been stuck being part of Titus Worldwide for the past few months.

Although to be fair, Crews does have the biggest match of his career next week as he steps into a last chance fatal four-way match that could see him qualify for The Elimination Chamber. While his professional life seems to slowly be going in the right direction, it seems that Crew's personal life is going the same way. Crews and his wife Linda have been together now for a number of years and the couple announced the arrival of their first child back in June 2017, a daughter who they called Sade Sofiya.

15 14. Karl Anderson

Vai Pinterest.co.uk

Karl Anderson has won Championships all over the world and made quite a name for himself in New Japan Po Wrestling as part of The Bullet Club. So much that WWE reached out and signed him alongside his tag team partner Luke Gallows back in 2016. Together the duo are former Raw Tag Team Champions.

Anderson and Gallows have recently reunited with Finn Balor and are known as The Balor Club in WWE. While Anderson is slowly becoming a fan favourite on WWE TV, he is already the favourite wrestler of his three sons. Anderson is quite private about his life outside of the ring, to the extent that his wife name isn't even known. What is known is that Anderson has two children with his beautiful wife.

14 13. Lacey Evans

via instagram.com

Hardcore NXT fans will know that Lacey Evans is the former U.S. Marine who has been making an impact as part of the NXT Women's Division over the past few months. Lacey called out Nikki Cross a few weeks ago before she was destroyed by the crazy member of Sanity. Now it appears that WWE is starting to use her as part of TV Tapings much more as she continues to show improvement in the ring.

Outside of the ring, Lacey has a four-year-old daughter called Summer. This was something that the NXT commentary team tried to make note of on a recent episode of NXT, but incorrectly reported that Lacey had a four-year-old son. Lacey has been with her husband since she was 14-years-old which means that they have been together now for the past 13 years.

13 12. Bobby Roode

via twitter.com

Bobby Roode is a former NXT Champion and the current United States Champion as part of SmackDown Live. The former Impact Wrestling superstar is someone who has a long history as part of the wrestling circuit and has managed to make the switch over to WWE quite seamlessly in recent years.

Roode is on the road touring with WWE for the better part of the year, which means that he isn't able to return home as much as he would like since he and his wife Tracy have three sons. Robert III, Riley, and Nicholas are all still quite young and Roode regularly shares images of his children on his Instagram page when he is able to spend some time with them. Given WWE's hectic travelling schedule, that likely isn't very often.

12 11. Jonathan Coachman

Via liverampup.com

Jonathan Coachman was once seen as an authority figure on Monday Night Raw before he was released by the company. He went on to continue his broadcasting career by working for ESPN for almost a decade.

He recently returned to WWE after it was revealed that Booker T and Corey Graves were unable to continue working together. After a decade away from the wrestling business, Coachman has finally made his return to the announce table. Outside of WWE Coachman is married to a pharmaceutical representative named Amy. Together the couple has two children. Recently Coachman has been able to spend a lot of time with his family. Now that he's back on the road with WWE, that could definitely be set to change.

10 10. Nick Jackson

Fans of New Japan Pro Wrestling or Ring of Honor will know exactly who Nick Jackson is, he and his older brother Matt have made waves all over the wrestling world as The Young Bucks who are also part of The Bullet Club. It seems that as well having a successful wrestling career outside of the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, Nick has already started a family and is still only 28-years-old.

Nick married his longtime girlfriend Ellen Montoya back in April 2011 and the couple has since welcomed both a daughter and a son. As with many wrestlers, both Nick and Matt are quite private when it comes to their personal lives and Nick tries to keep his children as far away from his wrestling career as possible.

9 9. Lio Rush

via instagram.com

Lio Rush has only recently signed with WWE and been sent down to NXT, but he is already well-known to fans of Ring of Honor as the winner of the 2016 Top Prospect Tournament. Rush is just 23-years-old but he has already been mentioned as one of the stars who could be the future of the business.

Rush has already garnered a lot of heat for a tweet that he sent out last year following Emma's WWE release. He has managed to push past that to return to NXT TV last month. Outside of the wrestling business, it is reported that Lio has a son, but much like many other performers on the NXT brand, he is very private about his life outside of the ring.

8 8. Wesley Blake

via instagram.com

Wesley Blake will be best remembered for his time as part of a Tag Team with Buddy Murphy, where he is a former NXT Tag Team Champion. The duo broke up a few months before Alexa Bliss was promoted to the main roster and it seems that both Blake and Murphy have been on the sidelines ever since.

Blake has made a handful of WWE appearances over the past year but it seems that he has also been quite busy in his personal life. Blake and Tough Enough winner Sara Lee announced back in 2016 that they were expecting their first child together. Their daughter Piper was born back in May before the couple finally decided to tie the knot on December 30th, 2017. Blake returned to NXT as part of a new Tag Team in their most recent batch of TV tapings.

7 7. Corey Graves

via instagram.com

The Saviour of Misbehaviour is a former NXT Tag Team Champion and someone that many fans thought would become a star in WWE. Sadly injuries caused Corey's in-ring career to come to an end and so the company offered him a place on the commentary team.

Corey has since become an iconic voice on the panel that has now seen him take over seats on both SmackDown Live and Monday Night Raw. While he's working his way up the ranks as one of WWE's best broadcasters, it seems that he has a family at home that is rarely able to see him. Corey and his wife Amy have three children together, a boy and two girls who Corey often uploads pictures of on his Instagram page when he is able to see them.

6 6. Tamina

via instagram.com

Tamina Snuka is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy "The Superfly" Snuka and has been quite a dominant presence in the Women's Division over the past few years. Tamina hasn't been able to capture any Championships throughout the time that she has been in WWE but she has one thing that no other woman on the main roster has.

Tamina is a mother of two children. She is the first woman to wrestle as part of WWE as a mother and has even allowed her children to be featured on Total Divas when she is spotted out with her cousin Jimmy Uso and his children. Tamina has two daughters called  Milaneta and Maleata but divorced her husband back in 2003 more than seven years before she made her WWE debut.

5 5. Curt Hawkins

via instagram.com

Curt Hawkins has already been released by WWE once, but it seems that the former Tag Team Champion has come back for more and is now the proud holder of the longest losing streak in WWE history. His streak has become so iconic that WWE have even turned it into a t-shirt and the WWE Universe have expressed how bad they feel for the star, who needs to face the facts himself.

Outside of this impressive losing streak, Hawkins married his longtime girlfriend Lizzie Karcher back in 2015. The couple announced the arrival of their first child, a daughter back in 2017. Incredibly, Hawkins is another star that many of the WWE Universe didn't know had a child since he isn't someone who often talks about his personal life on Social Media.

4 4. Curtis Axel

Via Pinterest.com

Curtis Axel is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Mr Perfect, so his life was already set to head into the wrestling business before he ever laced up a pair of boots. The former Intercontinental Champion hasn't had as much success inside the squared circle as his late father, but it seems that Curtis has managed to last for a long time in WWE. He is currently part of The Miztourage alongside Bo Dallas and The Miz.

Axel has always been a man who has family values, something that he inherited from his father and has always adhered to throughout his wrestling career. Axel married his longtime girlfriend Brooke back in 2000. The couple then welcomed their first child, a son back in 2009 who they called Brock.

3 3. Scott Dawson

via instagram.com

Scott Dawson made quite the impact alongside Dash Wilder whilst he was in NXT as part of The Revival, who are former NXT Tag Team Champions, but it seems that injuries have plagued their careers ever since their call-up to the main roster which is why they have failed to make the impact that many thought they would have by now. The duo currently performs on the Monday Night Raw brand.

Even though he's a wrestler who is on the road for the best part of the year, Dawson still has a family outside of the company. He married his girlfriend Maria Nickolopoulos back in 2012 and the couple then welcomed their first child, a daughter called Kayci back in 2014 whilst Dawson was still wrestling on the NXT roster.

2 2. Xavier Woods

Via onlineworldofwrestling.com

Xavier Woods became one of the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in the history of WWE as part of The New Day back in 2016 alongside Kofi Kingston and Big E. It is well-known that the former Champion has a PhD which makes him one of the smartest WWE superstars right now but it is less well-known that outside of the company Xavier is a father.

Of course, Xavier's personal life became the topic of conversation last year when Paige's personal videos were leaked and he was part of them. Xavier does have a wife named Jess Watson who he married back in 2015 before the whole video scandal became public knowledge and together the couple then announced the arrival of their first child, a son back in 2017.

1 1. Konnor

via prowrestlingsheet.com

Konnor is a former NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Viktor and together they are known as The Ascension. The duo is still the longest reigning Tag Team Champions on the NXT brand, but it seems that they have been unable to recreate that level of success on the main roster.

Konnor and Viktor have been reduced to jobber standard on the SmackDown Live roster over the past few years but it seems that even though his professional life isn't going to plan, his personal life is working out quite well. Konnor began dating retired professional wrestler Kristin Eubanks (who was known as Krissy Vaine) back in 2006 and it is reported that the couple are currently engaged. In September 2017, the couple announced the arrival of their first child, a son called Elijah.
