Sasha Banks is already one of the most successful women’s wrestlers in WWE history. The impressive four Raw Women’s Championship reigns may have an asterisk due to losing it on first defense every time, but anyone winning a title four times in such a short time period should be proud. Banks is also among the most popular ladies on the roster. Despite the inconsistent booking, her merchandise is reportedly at the top when it comes to the female talent. The live reaction for Sasha makes it clear that she is a star in the eyes of the WWE Universe.

However, the reaction for Banks backstage is a different story. There have been mixed reports about Sasha when it comes to her relationships with other wrestlers in the company. It is obvious that she wants to be the top star in the industry and has no regrets about her competitive spirit. A few wrestlers have accused her of being a diva for this and other reasons. On the other side, there are the wrestlers in the company that have been met with her friendship. We will look at both sides when it comes to the life of The Boss. 15 Love: Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is the most polarizing person in wrestling today. WWE has spent the past five years attempting to make him the replacement for John Cena as the face of the company. Reigns has clearly become a credible main event star, but the role as the face of WWE seems to be slipping away from him. Many fans love expressing their disdain of Reigns by booing him out of the building most weeks.

Banks is one person that expresses support of Roman leading the company.

Both wrestlers have been on Raw together since the brand split and Sasha believes Reigns is doing a great job in the role. Many interviews and tweets have shown Banks’ support of Roman. The biggest point she makes is how good he is in the ring considering his matches are often entertaining.

Sasha even accused fans of being jealous of Reigns when asked about why a lot of the audience intensely hates him due to his good looks and athletic ability. The two even teamed together in a Raw match showing good chemistry. Banks is one of the fans of the Big Dog and hopes he can continue to remain the face of WWE on the male side going forward.

14 Heat: Alexa Bliss

The most vocal war of words between Sasha Banks and another wrestler on the roster would be with Alexa Bliss. Both wrestlers have had issues with each other going all the way back to their days in NXT. There was a match where Banks was aggressive with a rookie Bliss. It led to Alexa getting busted open and suffering a face injury. Things reportedly started there as the two were hostile towards each other despite mutual friends.

Banks showed no love for Bliss during their feud in 2017. An infamous promo on Raw Talk featured Sasha shooting as to why she dislikes Alexa.

The biggest claim was that Bliss is a phony when it comes to her love of the wrestling business. Banks believes that Alexa pretends to be passionate about the business to trick people into thinking she’s a lifelong fan. An accusation saw her shoot that Bliss doesn’t know the difference between Matt and Jeff Hardy.

The two continued to exchange insults on social media. Sasha continuously called Alexa disingenuous and a little girl. Bliss retorted that Banks appeared to be jealous, especially since Alexa passed Sasha in the pecking order for the Raw women’s division. This is clearly an instance of two talented wrestlers just disliking each other.

The signing of AJ Styles by WWE made many wrestlers happy that he was finally joining the company. Styles already worked with a lot of the wrestlers on the roster like Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Neville, but even wrestlers he didn’t know too well were pleased. Sasha Banks was one very happy when hearing the news about Styles coming to WWE. Given her love of the industry, she was a huge fan of Styles’ work outside of WWE and was excited to work with him.

The two apparently hit it off as they became friends at some point. Sasha and AJ were each involved in various Up Up Down Down episodes together sharing laughs. Banks revealed in interviews that she would get advice from Styles before they were separated in the brand split. Styles gave her advice on little things that she felt improved her matches and overall work.

There was a lot of respect between the two. At one point, Sasha even said she wishes she could have a match against him, but WWE rarely does intergender bouts. Regardless, she loves AJ and the two developed a friendship during their time together before the brand split draft. Banks would likely enjoy more advice from him now that both rosters work together on the same PPV every month.

12 Heat: Enzo Amore

Enzo Amore and Sasha Banks didn’t have personal beef like most of the people to feel her heat on the list, but there was an issue in play between the two. Both wrestlers were huge success stories in NXT. As great as Banks was for the women’s division, Enzo and Big Cass were among the most popular tag teams in the developmental brand. It is easy to forget that WWE had huge plans for Enzo and Big Cass moving forward on the main roster.

Enzo would find more popularity than Cass due to his merchandise selling quite well. Fans loved reciting his silly catch phrases on the way to the ring. Unfortunately, his terrible decisions and poor attitude hurt him in the long run. One segment to feature him getting a big spot featured a promo segment with Sasha, Chris Jericho and Charlotte Flair.

The promo featured Enzo flirting with Banks before the two teamed together against the heels. It was teased that Enzo and Sasha could an item down the road given the flirting going down between the two. Banks reportedly wasn’t fond of this as she wants to be seen as a serious competitor rather than the eye candy for another wrestler. She also didn’t want to be sidetracked with Enzo’s backstage heat. It is unknown if Sasha requested the angle end, but the two stopped interacting right after.

11 Love: Titus O'Neil

Titus O’Neil has the reputation of being one of the kindest people in WWE. Outside of the ring, O’Neil dedicates a lot of his time to helping others. Various charities are supported by him along with little things that treating homeless people in need to a meal when running into them. Most wrestlers on the roster have glowing words to speak about Titus as a person.

Sasha Banks has become a close friend of O’Neil and his family in recent years.

Some of the talent to live close together in Florida have hung out together in their down time. O’Neil and Banks have shown images of them hanging out with their respective loved ones in Florida at restaurants and events. Titus and Sasha also travel together during WWE event loops occasionally with others like Bayley, Apollo Crews and Kalisto joining them.

Banks has revealed in interviews that O’Neil is one of the nicer people she has met in the wrestling business and they have become good friends. At various points, Sasha has even referenced wanting to join the Titus Worldwide faction. It would make sense given her Boss character wanting to score the biggest money possible with Titus representing her.

10 Heat: Vince McMahon

The main roster call-up for Sasha Banks has been a success, but she still isn’t nearly as impressive as she was in NXT. Banks’ NXT character of The Boss allowed her to play a highly entertaining heel. The quotes from Sasha in interviews have seen her admit that she is a natural heel and tends to deliver her best work in that role. Vince McMahon however prefers her as a face and refuses to go back to her NXT gimmick.

Banks has expressed frustration with the booking of her on the main roster. While she is proud of what she has done so far, she wants to be at the top level. Unfortunately, Sasha has been below Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss as both ladies have been the faces of their respective shows for the women’s division. McMahon reportedly doesn’t believe in Banks as a major star and likes her in the current role.

Sasha revealed in past interviews that she had a tough time connecting with McMahon.

NXT was clearly a better time for her as Triple H understood her character better. The inability to get on the same page for McMahon and Banks is leading to her career trending downwards compared to her own personal expectations. Sasha has confirmed that her relationship with Vince is improving and we are seeing signs of a potential heel turn coming soon.

Sheamus has become a veteran on the main roster after nearly a decade of success. The body of work of Sheamus has seen him work in every role from main event to mid-card, heel to face, and intense to comedic characters. His reputation backstage is overwhelmingly positive. While he has been in a few fights earlier in his career, just about everyone in WWE today has nothing but kind things to say about Sheamus.

Sasha Banks is another talent that loves interacting with Sheamus.

Some of her past comments have indicated she has a lot of respect for The Bar tag team of Sheamus and Cesaro. Both wrestlers have endured a lot of injuries. It often brings wrestlers together to discuss how to recover from these injuries given one likely has more experience with it than another. Banks and Sheamus have each dealt with neck issues in their careers.

We saw their friendship on display when Sasha made an appearance on Sheamus’ YouTube workout series. Banks showed off some of the exercises she does while Sheamus tried to keep up. It gave fans an insight into the workout routine of a WWE superstar as well as a glimpse at the friendship between Sheamus and Sasha.

8 Heat: Ronda Rousey

The signing of Ronda Rousey by WWE led to a lot of controversy when she arrived at the 2018 Royal Rumble. Rousey made her name as a mega-star in UFC before leaving the world of MMA. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon kept a close relationship with Rousey for years hoping it would lead to the moment we got of her coming to WWE.

Some of the ladies in the Royal Rumble match felt disrespected that Rousey arrived at the end of the show to get the spotlight after they made history. Sasha Banks was a vocal critic at Rousey’s special treatment. One of her first public comments saw her state she had nothing nice to say about it, so she would remain silent.

Prior interviews featured Banks saying Rousey should go to the Performance Center with the other rookies if she wanted to join WWE.

Things have changed as Rousey appeared to win the respect of the other ladies in the company. Banks publicly stated that she has respect for Ronda and is glad she’s in WWE. The fact that Rousey cares about the product and works hard led to Sasha changing her opinion. Her prior comments could give us some material for a match between the two at some point.

7 Love: The New Day

The New Day are among the most likeable people in the wrestling business. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E couldn’t help but get fans to love them during their heel act. All three were so entertaining and enjoyable that fans shifted towards them once seeing their true personalities in play. Each man is respected on the main roster for delivering great entertainment on-screen and being friendly backstage.

Many wrestlers have become close friends of New Day. Sasha Banks is clearly one of them. Woods often has Banks on his Up Up Down Down YouTube channel. As a huge video game fan, Sasha is often involved in the various competitions with members of the New Day. Their friendship has been shown on the channel as they hang out and enjoy each other’s company in real life.

Banks and the members of New Day took a picture together to celebrate Black History Month when all were champions on Raw. They take pride in each other’s accomplishments and clearly have a lot of similar interests outside of the ring. New Day has stated in an interview that Banks would be the fourth member if someone from the women’s division were to join the group.

6 Heat: Lana

Lana and Sasha Banks represent the completely opposite ends of the spectrum in professional wrestling. Banks dreamed of being a wrestler since her childhood years and feared she didn’t have the look to get a chance from WWE. Lana wanted to be an entertainer that essentially lucked into a role with the company thanks to her looks. Both ladies have clashed at various points given their differences.

Lana publicly started the issues between the two when consistently liking tweets insulting Banks.

One of the first major instances came when Melina made tweets about why Alicia Fox defeating Sasha in an upset victory was a good thing. Fans of Banks found other instances of Lana liking tweets insulting Banks for her attitude, persona and even her appearance.

Sasha never ripped Lana like she did with a few others, but she did post a message during the time indicating people tearing down her have no confidence in their own abilities. Fans interpreted a secret message from Banks and fellow Lana enemy Summer Rae as having a hashtag of #BL2017 meaning Block Lana 2017. It is obvious that Sasha and Lana are not friends and that is highly unlikely of changing at any point.

5 Love: Kalisto

The career of Kalisto has seen many changes in a short time. Kalisto and Sin Cara were the Lucha Dragons tag team when he was first called up from NXT. Despite being former tag champs in NXT, they failed to make an impact on the main roster as a unit. Kalisto had a lot of talent that convinced WWE to split up the Lucha Dragons and push him as a singles star. While he did have a few reigns as United States Champion, Kalisto was moved into the Cruiserweight division for now.

One thing that bonds him with Sasha Banks is the fact that they both have a lot of mutual favorites in the wrestling industry.

Kalisto and Banks each name Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero as their influences into getting into the wrestling business. Sasha would likely want to wrestle a style more like Kalisto if she could get away with it.

The two have become close friends outside of the ring. Not only do they often travel together, but Banks has revealed they often spend their off days as well. Kalisto and his wife often spends time with Sasha and her husband. Between their time on the road and their free time spent together, this duo is clearly among the closer friends on the WWE roster today.

4 Heat: Daniel Bryan

There isn’t a personal hatred between Daniel Bryan and Sasha Banks, but there have been a few unique instances of the two not being on the same page. Many would assume they would hit it off given Bryan represents a lot of the things Banks felt she would to face in her career. Bryan is significantly smaller than most of his peers, especially when joining WWE, and he fought his way to the top with passion.

Banks showed some heat towards Bryan during the fan debate back in 2015 when it came to Bryan vs. Roman Reigns. Passionate fans of both wrestlers wanted to see their guy challenge Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 31. Ahead of their #1 contenders match, it felt like everyone in wrestling was picking a side. Sasha joined the party by making her voice known that was rooting for Roman. She actually insulted Bryan to leave fans confused if she genuinely disliked him.

Another weird incident between the two featured Banks teasing retirement when coming back from an injury. It was reminiscent of Bryan’s retirement speech before she faked everyone out by saying she was coming back better than ever. Bryan retorted this on an episode of Talking Smack claiming he felt the segment was tacky. Banks did express happiness for Bryan being cleared to compete, so they don’t genuinely hate each other.

3 Love: Naomi

Everyone knows about Sasha Banks’ close relationship with Bayley, but she has another close friend on the women’s roster. The first storyline for Banks on the main roster saw her unite with Naomi and Tamina as part of Team BAD. Naomi was still treading water trying to break out, but that didn’t prevent her from helping the new star in town.

Banks has revealed that Naomi helped her get acclimated to the main roster as they teamed together most nights on live events. They would split up and eventually go their separate ways in the brand split. It ended up being the best thing for Naomi’s career. She received a revamp and legitimate push for the first time in his career. Naomi developed momentum and went on to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship twice, including at WrestleMania 33.

Banks was one of her biggest supporters expressing excitement on social media and in interviews.

She wants to have a bigger feud with Naomi at some point as both ladies are now bigger stars compared to their days in Team BAD. Their time together ended up creating a friendship that has lasted many years despite being on separate shows for most of it.

2 Heat: Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks have been linked for many years in their careers. Both ladies were stable mates in the BFF faction with Summer Rae. Following the split, Banks and Flair continued to thrive on their own as they climbed the ladder in NXT. Charlotte got to the top first when becoming NXT Women’s Champion defeating Natalya in a classic match to truly launch her career.

Banks feuded with Charlotte and made it personal in promos. Some of the content implied that the Flair last name is why Charlotte was a success rather than her own talent. Sasha even placed a sticker over Charlotte’s t-shirt to make it her own. This upset Charlotte behind the scenes as she felt Banks was being a bad friend to her with the surprise attacks on the microphone and in the wardrobe department.

Flair even wrote about it in her book saying she felt betrayed and implied that Sasha was jealous of her success. The two eventually made peace as part of the unofficial Four Horsewomen group. Charlotte and Banks shared many historic matches like the first women’s PPV main event, Hell in a Cell and a few other accolades. There is a mutual respect today after their prior instance of heat.

One woman on the Raw roster to be loved by Sasha Banks is Bayley. The two have been best friends on the Raw brand since Bayley was called up to the main roster. This stemmed from a real life bond the two formed during their time together in NXT. Banks and Bayley had similar stories of wanting to become wrestlers from a young age despite not fitting the fold of what WWE looked for in female talent at the time.

The two talented wrestlers became friends in WWE developmental referring to each other as “Plain Janes.” However, Triple H started to move forward with making the women’s division credible in NXT. He wanted the ladies to bring the athleticism and character work like the men. It wasn’t about sex appeal or eye candy. Banks and Bayley continued to push each other in NXT as they each became huge stars.

Many pundits name Sasha vs. Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn as the best women’s match in WWE history. It played a huge role in the women’s revolution being presented on the main roster. Banks and Bayley will likely finally turn into a feud at some point this year, but they are among the closest friends on the main roster today.
