Triple H has made an amazing transition from being the “King of Kings” to becoming a terrific booker in WWE, with his fabulous work with NXT earning him praise from fans and critics alike. Triple H has really changed the shape of NXT and made it the land of some of the best wrestling in the world right now, also making sure the “wrestling” part in WWE is given the light somewhere. While Triple H might be in complete charge of NXT and recently also got the keys to 205 Live, he isn’t really a big-time booker on the main roster yet because of Vince McMahon still overseeing things on the main shows.

Triple H still has the power of altering some things on the main roster and has the influential power to push or demote wrestlers on the main shows. There are certain wrestlers he would love to push because of their impressive work for the company and how they’re being misused by Vince McMahon on the main roster. Similarly, there are also certain superstars he would like to show the door because of their lack of value to the company and underwhelming work in recent years.

Triple H probably wants to let go of the less interesting wrestlers who aren’t adding anything new to the product, while there are certain grossly underused wrestlers who he’d love to push higher up the main-event scene. So let us take a look at the 10 Wrestlers Triple H probably wants to fire and 10 he probably wants to push higher up the ladder.

20 Fire: R-Truth

via wwe.com

R-Truth has been involved with the WWE for almost a decade and always entertained fans whenever called upon, and despite his age, he’s doing a pretty nice job in showing his comic side. But Truth’s age does not allow him to wrestle that often these days, with a recent injury further hampering his wrestling career.

Vince McMahon’s fondness for Truth means that he’ll never let him go, which is why Triple H will probably be the one to do it.

Triple H definitely respects R-Truth's contributions to WWE, but as a smart business-man, also understands how the aged Truth needs to be let go and replaced by someone who can bring something new to the product.

19 Push: Andrade “Cien” Almas

via nexterawrestling.net

Ever since being promoted to SmackDown Live, Andrade “Cien” Almas’ reputation of being a top guy in WWE has dwindled. Almas has been retained in the lower-mid card and the feud involving him and Zelina Vega against Rusev & Lana has been extremely stretched out. Almas should be contesting at the top of SmackDown Live, but has been almost demoted ever since arriving on the blue brand.

Triple H must be highly displeased, and having understood Almas’ potential as a top guy, he must want to push him into the title scene on SmackDown. Triple H proved how to book Almas right in NXT and definitely wants to push him as one of the main stars of the blue brand.

18 Fire: Baron Corbin

via wwe.com

Baron Corbin recently transitioned into this corporate role on Monday Night Raw, something which indicates that WWE doesn’t trust him as a wrestler. Corbin has been known for being highly arrogant backstage at times and got himself in deep trouble last year when he was disrespectful to a WWE doctor.

While he was punished for that by failing to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, Triple H must’ve been upset. Triple H is someone who values his backstage employees very much and would’ve fired Corbin if he was in charge. It doesn’t seem like Triple H is too fond of Corbin’s skills and probably wants him replaced by someone more deserving on Raw.

17 Push: The Authors Of Pain

via wwe.com

The Authors of Pain were absolute monster heels in NXT, where they won the NXT Tag Team Championships and the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament with relative ease. But ever since being promoted to the main roster and having parted ways from Paul Ellering, The Authors of Pain’s intimidating nature has seemingly regressed as they’re not being booked properly on Raw.

The awful feud with Titus Worldwide further hampered their character development.

Triple H must be sad to see this happen to his boys, as he’d love to push AOP as one of the top teams on the main roster. He’d want AOP to be strongly booked on Raw and be the unstoppable monsters they were in NXT.

16 Fire: Wesley Blake

via wwe.com

Wesley Blake has become an isolated figure on NXT ever since his tag team with Buddy Murphy broke up and he’s since been looking for a proper gimmick which can get him over once again. While Murphy is doing some great work on 205 Live!, Blake is currently trying out a tag team with Steve Cutler. They seem to have this “bikers” gimmick which hasn’t gotten over with the NXT fans at all. Triple H must be growing impatient with Blake, who despite spending so many years at NXT hasn’t been able to show much development. The King of Kings might be contemplating firing Blake as he isn’t adding anything to NXT and has ended up being extremely underwhelming since parting with Murphy.

15 Push: Rusev

via areawrestling.net

Rusev is in dire need of a push in the WWE, but the company doesn’t seem to be willing to bank on him as a top star at all. Despite his charisma and in-ring ability, Rusev has being kept in the lower-mid card and forced to be part of some underwhelming feuds.

While Vince McMahon doesn’t trust him, Triple H definitely values Rusev’s talent much more.

Triple H seems to really keen on Rusev’s character and would love to push him as a top babyface on SmackDown. He can see the power of “Rusev Day” and as a sensible booker would want him pushed to the main-event scene as long as he’s hot with the fans.

14 Fire: Sin Cara

via twitter.com

Sin Cara has become a rather forgotten character in WWE and despite popping up occasionally, the intrigue to his character has been diminished. Now played by Hunico, the character of Sin Cara isn’t over anymore and is used as enhancement talent on SmackDown.

Cara was also in the headlines last year for having heated backstage altercations with Simon Gotch and Chris Jericho which earned him a bad reputation. Triple H might be quite agitated with Cara for that, and knowing how he adds nothing new to WWE’s product, he probably wants to let him go.

13 Push: Sasha Banks

via WWE.com

Sasha Banks has been entangled in this weird “frenemy” phase with Bayley for so many months now that her main-event potential has almost been forgotten by many fans. Banks was doing an amazing job as a top star of the Women’s Division after initially arriving on the main roster but it seems like Vince McMahon has given up on her since.

Triple H hasn't given up on her, however, and probably wants her back in the title scene.

Triple H booked her amazingly as a heel on NXT and probably wants to push her as a top heel on Raw, something which can definitely be best for business knowing Banks’ ability as a conniving heel.

12 Fire: Zack Ryder

via wwe.com

Zack Ryder has seemingly lost much of his fan-following in WWE and it’s because he’s rarely appearing these days on WWE TV that he’s becoming a rather irrelevant character in WWE. Ryder has been criticized by his peers for his laziness and lack of wanting to work events and it seems like he’s not on Triple H’s good-books either.

According to JTG, Triple H tried to sabotage Ryder’s career many years ago.

Triple H must dislike him even more now that he doesn’t perform that often, and it’s because of Ryder wasting a spot on Raw that the NXT boss probably wants to fire him.

11 Push: Drew McIntyre

via wwe.com

Drew McIntyre might be getting pushed as a more intimidating heel these days, but he needs to let off the hook on the main roster to properly turn into the ruthless heel he can be. McIntyre is doing a decent job as the Diesel to Dolph Ziggler's HBK, but Triple H probably wants him pushed higher up the ladder knowing the potential he brought in his return to WWE.

Triple H would probably want to push McIntyre into the Universal Championship scene and even give him a title run in the near future. He’s probably played a big role in creating this psychopathic heel character for McIntyre and wants to push him as one of WWE’s top big-bads in the near future.

10 Fire: Dana Brooke

via wwe.com

Dana Brooke has seemingly been lost in the shuffle after WWE Women’s Revolution and her underwhelming work in the ring makes her quite useless on Monday Night Raw. While Brooke has been put together in a valet role for Titus Worldwide, she hasn’t really improved her in-ring ability for which she was hired in the first place.

Brooke hasn’t shown any signs of improvement and after being unable to go over with fans, she’s properly ticked of Triple H as well. The King of Kings probably wants to let go of Brooke after seeing her regression in WWE and it’s because of how she’s wasting a spot on Raw that Triple H wants to replace her with a worthier candidate.

9 Push: Bobby Roode

via wwe.com

Bobby Roode is currently in the deep end of the mid-card on Monday Night Raw and stuck in an awful situation from which he probably won’t get out of anytime soon. With rumors of Vince McMahon not caring about Roode enough to push him coming out of WWE, Triple H must be upset to see his “Chosen One” get buried like that on Raw.

Triple H showed his liking for Roode by booking him well on NXT and probably wants to push him like that on Raw as well. He wants to push him as an arrogant heel because of how natural Roode is at portraying one and would love to involve the Glorious One in the top feuds right now.

8 Fire: Dolph Ziggler

via wwe.com

Dolph Ziggler has shown impressive resurgence to regain his place as a prominent mid-carder on Raw, with his alliance with Drew McIntyre doing him loads of good. While Ziggler might be an entertaining performer, he isn’t someone who is liked by Triple H for some reason.

Apparently even in his days at the Spirit Squad, Triple H criticized his work and sent him down to Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Triple H is probably even irked by Ziggler’s demands for less work due to his stand-up comedy career and arrogance when it comes to signing a new contract with WWE. The COO of WWE probably wants to let go of Ziggler’s because of his poor attitude and replaced him with a fresher, more promising talent.

7 Push: The Revival

via pinterest.com

The Revival might call themselves “The Top Guys” in WWE, but they are hardly being treated as such on the main roster where they’ve failed to assert themselves as a top tag team. It’s because of injury issues and their “old-school” behavior that the Revival hasn’t impressed Vince McMahon so much, but their poor treatment might be irking Triple H.

The King of Kings loved their work in NXT and booked them very strongly, even making them win the NXT Tag Team Championship twice.

The Revival had some amazing matches under Triple H, who probably wants to push them as THE ‘‘top guys” of the tag team division and give them a healthy run with the Raw Tag Team Championship.

6 Fire: Fabian Aichner

via youtube.com

Fabian Aichner has not been able to live up to his potential at NXT so far and despite having an impressive ability in the ring, he’s not been able to climb the ranks yet. Aichner has a pretty superb physique and can also wrestle pretty well, but he hasn’t been able to prove himself yet at NXT.

He’s failed to develop a proper gimmick and isn’t over with the fans either, despite being on NXT for quite a long time now.

Triple H must be growing weary of Aichner and after seeing him being unable to get over with the fans, he probably wants to let go of Aichner, as he just hasn’t done anything worthy to justify his place on NXT.

5 Push: Kevin Owens

via wwe.com

Kevin Owens might’ve finally made it past a fairly painful feud with Braun Strowman, but his humiliating losses to Strowman proved that Owens wasn’t making it out of the mid-card anytime soon. Owens has been quite badly booked over the year and this cowardly heel act isn’t helping him, as KO needs someone like Triple H to book his character.

Triple H booked him really well on NXT as this dominant heel and also played a big influence on his initial success on the main roster.

He definitely wants to push Owens back into the Universal Championship picture and would love to give him another run with the title, which could help reassert Owens as a top heel on Monday Night Raw.

4 Fire: Tino Sabbatelli

via youtube.com

Tino Sabbatelli might have an ideal physique which could help him stand out in WWE, but his poor ability in the ring makes him a frustrating man to keep under the payroll for Triple H. The COO of WWE has spent the last few years trying to help the former NFL star become a prominent WWE superstar, but his injury-prone nature and poor in-ring ability hasn’t helped Sabatelli’s case.

Triple H has probably grown tired of Sabbatelli’s injury problems and lack of improvement in the squared circle and might want to release him. Sabbatelli’s hasn’t proven himself to be an able wrestler on NXT and it’s because of him wasting a valuable spot on NXT that Triple H probably wants to fire him.

3 Push: Asuka

via f4wonline.com

Asuka’s reputation of being this unstoppable female star has been completely hindered in recent months thanks to crushing losses to Carmella and Charlotte putting an end to her historic winning streak. Who was once known to be this unbeatable phenomenon is now merely a mid-carder and Asuka’s poor booking must have annoyed Triple H. The King of Kings treated her like gold on NXT and created the impressive undefeated streak during her stint there.

Triple H wants to push Asuka into the SmackDown Women’s Championship scene and continue being this unstoppable wrestler.

It’s because of him knowing her potential that Triple H wants to push Asuka to the top of the Women’s Division and always keep her in the limelight.

2 Fire: Raul Mendoza

via wwe.com

Raul Mendoza showed promising signs during the Cruiserweight Classic tournament a few years ago but has since shown no signs of development since being retained at WWE NXT. While Mendoza is a pretty good high-flyer, he hasn’t been able to create that emotional connection with the audience which keeps people invested in what he does.

He doesn’t have a proper gimmick and hasn’t been able to get over at all.

Mendoza has been playing the role of an enhancement talent on NXT and his lack of development has probably ticked off Triple H. The NXT boss probably wants to fire him as Mendoza doesn’t seem ready for WWE yet and is just wasting a valuable spot on NXT right now.

1 Push: Finn Balor

via dualshockers.com

Finn Balor might’ve received his overdue Universal Championship rematch recently, but that doesn’t mean that he’s back into the title picture. It seems like Vince McMahon doesn’t see a “top star” in Balor and has persisted with keeping him in the mid-card.

Triple H definitely doesn’t agree to this as he valued Balor’s talent and treated him really well on NXT. Balor was quite the dominant champion on NXT and Triple H would love to push him similarly on the main roster as well. The King of Kings wants to push Balor as a top babyface and knowing the amount of talent in the former Universal Champion, Triple H won’t hesitate to keep him at the top of WWE for years to come.
