Professional wrestling is a pretty unique blend of many different industries and walks of life. That's why there is often an argument between different schools of fans over how much we should and shouldn't know about the performers' personal lives. Fans who have been watching wrestling for 20 years or more are likely of the belief that WWE Superstars should still do as good a job at protecting their characters as they did in the past.

That means that heels and baby faces shouldn't been seen in public together and that the WWE Universe should struggle to separate what's real and what's staged. However the presence of social media in the present day makes that almost impossible. Wrestlers are often seen by fans and promptly snapped and uploaded onto the internet. Even more often the wrestlers themselves often upload their own photos of family outings on their own social media profiles.

There are still certain wrestlers that manage to successfully keep their personal lives under wraps however. Aspects of their time outside of the ring that surprise fans when they hear about them. That's why it might surprise you to hear that ten of the Superstars on this list are actually married, some of them to other stars within the business. On the flip side of the list are six wrestlers who haven't managed to find that special someone to spend the rest of their life with but give off the impression that they would really like to some time soon.

16 Married: Kofi Kingston

via africanseer.com

Kofi Kingston may have been around in WWE for a while now and had a very successful singles run that predates his time with The New Day, but it's hard to imagine that he isn't having more fun right now than he ever has before. Kingston is clearly great friends with Xavier Woods and Big E and they give off that genuine feeling of three guys who just love what they're doing. What you might be surprised to hear is that Kingston actually has a very busy family life when he isn't on the road with WWE. The four time Tag Team Champion got married back in 2010 before The New Day had even formed and has two children with his spouse. Woods and Big E often joke about Kingston being the elder statesman of their stable and the fact that he is a husband and father likely play in to those jokes.

15 Married: Randy Orton

via youtube.com

It's incredible to think that even though it has been sixteen years since Randy Orton made his main roster debut in WWE he is still ticking off firsts. The latest one came just recently when The Viper became the United States Champion for the first time in his pro wrestling career. To be fair Orton has been busy winning World Championships for the majority of his career, thirteen of them to be exact at the time of typing this. The US Champ also has a pretty busy home life. Not only is he married to his current wife Kimberly but they also have six kids at home. Only one of them is from their current marriage but Kimberley has four from before she met The Apex Predator and Orton also has one other child from a previous marriage.

14 Single: Big E

By all accounts one of the most well-liked Superstars backstage right now is Big E. Not only does he clearly get along very well with Xavier Woods and previous entry on this list Kofi Kingston but he seems to be good friends with a lot of his other colleagues. A lot of those friends are females such as Sasha Banks and Natalya but when it comes to pinning down a girl to be his other half he doesn't seem to have much luck. Now Banks and Nattie are both happily married so he wouldn't have any luck there anyway and perhaps it is the fact that Big E spends so much time around the same people at work that he hasn't managed to find that special someone.

13 Married: Goldust

via pinterest.com

Those of you who have been fans of WWE for a long, long time will know that towards the beginning of Dustin Rhodes' run as Goldust he was married to Terri Runnels. The two of them were not just together behind the scenes either and also made quite the formidable pairing on screen. Runnels was a pivotal part of the Goldust character in those early years. What you'll also likely know is that marriage came to an end in 1999. Goldust married again and actually divorced again a few years later. The veteran remains adamant that married life is for him however and married for a third time in 2012 to Ta-rel Roche. His current relationship is kept well away from the spotlight which is likely why you didn't know Goldie had remarried.

12 Married: Drew McIntyre

via dailyrecord.co.uk

Drew McIntyre was forced to learn fast when it came to the world of professional wrestling and more specifically WWE. The Scottish Superstar was signed to a contract at the age of just 21 and when he arrived on the main roster he was labelled as The Chosen One. That didn't work out of course and years later McIntyre is older, wiser and looking to make good on his WWE career. It turns out that McIntyre's life outside of the ring has mirrored that somewhat. The former Intercontinental Champion got married in 2010 and just a year later was divorced. Now McIntyre is married again and his second marriage almost coincided exactly with his return to WWE. The now well traveled Superstar is doing much better second time around in WWE and hopefully that is also reflected in his second go at marriage too.

11 Single: Nia Jax

via bleacherreport.com

We are currently in the midst of a women's revolution in WWE and in all honesty across the board in professional wrestling. Female Superstars are quite rightly being judged on their in ring ability as opposed to their looks and it has made for a terrific women's division in WWE that only continues to get stronger as time passes. That being said the incredible female wrestlers who currently call WWE home are all very attractive women too. One of those women is former model Nia Jax. For some reason the gorgeous Jax is currently still single. Perhaps men find her intimidating considering what she can do to her opponents in the ring. There are also rumours that Jax thinks the engagement between her best friend Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy is a bad idea.

10 Married: Dean Ambrose

via eonline.com

Dean Ambrose doesn't particularly strike us as the marrying type. By all accounts The Lunatic Fringe is the same behind the scenes as he is in the ring, a little unhinged and someone who doesn't particularly need any friends or allies, outside of his buddies in The Shield of course. Nevertheless the former WWE Champion is in fact married, and to WWE's own Renee Young. If you were to pair Ambrose with any female in WWE it would likely be someone like Nikki Cross, or perhaps even Asuka at a stretch. But no he is with the blonde bombshell that is Renee. The two sneaked away to get married last year and by all accounts are very happy together. Opposites attract and this is a prime example of that.

9 Single: Braun Strowman

Someone who does not currently have a woman in his life, at least as far as we can tell, is Braun Strowman. If Nia Jax intimidates men then we can only imagine how women feel about The Monster Among Men. The behemoth of a man stomps around on Raw every Monday night pulling down scaffolding and flipping ambulances over so hardly the settling down type. That is all an act however and apparently behind the scenes Strowman is actually a really sweet guy. That comes across during interviews and most of his colleagues have nothing but nice things to say about him. There was even a screenshot of Strowman's Tinder profile that went viral a while ago so clearly Raw's Resident Monster is looking for love.

8 Married: Mickie James

via youtube.com

There is currently a pretty successful women's revolution raging on in WWE. Even though the current crop of female Superstars are arguably the best the business has ever seen there is no arguing that it took a lot of talented women to lay the ground work. Many of those former Superstars got the chance to reap the rewards of that groundwork by competing in the first ever women's Royal Rumble match this year. Mickie James wanted a little more than that and has been back full time for a while now. Not only is she once again a full time WWE Superstar but James also has a husband and young son. You might know her husband as a matter of fact, it's former Impact Wrestling star Magnus, otherwise known as Nick Aldis.

7 Single: Finn Balor

via geekendgladiators.com/pwmania.com

There are some WWE Superstars who very much focus on the job and the task at hand and looking from the outside in it seems as if their personal life goes out the window. They don't get engaged or married and don't have kids. For the time being at least Finn Balor seems to be one of those Superstars. The first ever Universal Champion has dedicated his life to professional wrestling and continues to reap the rewards from doing so. Balor has traveled the world making a name for himself and judging by what he has done in his relatively short time with WWE to date he is far from done. There are rumours that the Irishman is dating fellow WWE employee Cathy Kelley but if those rumours are true then their relationship doesn't seem to have progressed beyond the boyfriend/girlfriend stage at this moment in time.

6 Married: Sasha Banks

via sportskeeda.com

Since we mentioned Sasha Banks during the Big E entry then we might as well talk about her relationship in more detail right here. The Boss doesn't flaunt her relationship and has only just turned 26 years old so many fans likely don't know that the four time Women's Champion is actually married. Even the wedding was kept under wraps, similar to the nuptials of Dean Ambrose and Renee Young. Even though Sasha's husband is a fellow wrestler and WWE employee unless you know about their marriage you will probably not recognize him. In the ring Mr Banks is known as Kid Mikaze. You wouldn't have seen him on WWE television though. That's because his current role with the company is as a costume designer. No wonder Sasha's gear always looks so good.

5 Single: Dolph Ziggler

via wwe.com

Everything about Dolph Ziggler both inside and outside of the ring screams that he fancies himself as quite the ladies man. Despite not being the partner of any of the female cast members he has even appeared on Total Divas a number of times and been painted as a pretty sleazy guy. There was one angle in particular when he tried to kiss Nikki Bella despite her being with John Cena at the time. It didn't come out of nowhere though. Before Bella was with the sixteen time World Champion she dated The Showoff for a little while. They're not together now though obviously and as far as we know Ziggler is currently single. Apparently he also dated Dana Brooke for a little while too and there is also the whole alleged night with former WWE Diva Sunny.

4 Married: AJ Styles

via swaggyimages.com

There have pretty much been two constants in AJ Styles' adult life. Those two things are professional wrestling and his marriage. The Phenomenal One began his wrestling career in 1998 and married his wife Wendy two years later in the year 2000. Wendy is actually the reason why Styles didn't become a permanent fixture in WWE years ago. The two of them would had to have moved in order to sign for the company and Wendy was studying to become a teacher at the time so they opted not to. It's nice to imagine what could have been but it's hard to argue that it would have been a better path then the one Styles has taken and is still on to this day. The two of them also have four children together, the date of births of whom are all tattooed on AJ's side.

3 Single: Paige

via instagram.com

Despite Paige only being 25 years old at the time of typing this the first ever NXT Women's Champion seems to have dealt with a lot of heart break. It felt as if she had found the one when she was dating Kevin Skaff, the guitarist from A Day To Remember. That didn't work out however and while away from WWE due to suspensions and needing neck surgery she started dating Alberto Del Rio and the pair eventually got engaged. That relationship was tumultuous to say the least and both parties involved would likely admit that they are better off now that they have broken up. You'd have thought that her experience with Del Rio would have led Paige to take a break from men for a while but it seems that she is now dating another musician, the bassist from rock band Atilla Kalan Blehm. It remains to become anything to serious yet though, as it is still very fresh.

2 Married: Stone Cold Steve Austin

via blogspot.com

Speaking of WWE Superstars who have been unlucky in love, moving swiftly on to Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Texas Rattlesnake has been married a grand total of four times so far in his life. The marriage that most fans likely know about of those four was to fellow former Superstar Debra. That's because for a while it was used in an angle on WWE television during the build to Austin's championship match with The Rock at WrestleMania X-Seven. The marriage prior to that Stone Cold actually had two daughters but his relationships with them are not strong. What fans might not know is that Austin's fourth marriage is still going strong and is now the longest of all his relationships. Clearly it's a case of fourth time lucky for ol' Stone Cold.

1 Married: Aiden English

via pinterest.com

You would think with an angelic singing voice like Aiden English's then the former Vaudevillian would be fighting off an endless stream of women. Okay maybe not, but the SmackDown Live Superstar is happily married and it isn't to his idol and tag team partner Rusev. It's actually to a young lady named Shaul Guerrero, and yes she is a member of the very famous Guerrero wrestling family. In fact Shaul is the daughter of the late, great Eddie Guerrero which technically makes English Latino Heat's son in law. The two of them met while in NXT together and obviously their careers have taken very different trajectories since then. Despite English being on the road with WWE and Guerrero no longer wrestling with the company they are happily married and still together today.
