The one thing that no one warns you about when you become famous is the fact that nothing in your life is ever private again. Many of your favourite WWE stars have found this out the hard way since a number of their childhood photos have been shared online or used as part of WWE games where fans try to guess who they think the superstar is from their younger images. For some this could be harmless, as they looked like cute kids who seemed to skip their awkward stage of growth.

Others had the misfortune of making some questionable haircut choices or just looked awkward during their younger years. Many stars are unrecognizable in the images that their family and friends have obviously shared with the public over the years, but there are also a select few who you can tell exactly who they are and they haven't changed all that much in the decades that have followed.

It's odd seeing these superstars as children and knowing that these are the kids that went on to be the sports entertainers of this generation, but just because they have a creepy gimmick now, does that mean that they were always a creepy child?

The following list centres on eight WWE superstars who looked as though they were creepy as children and eight who were too busy being cute and there are images to prove it.

16 Creepy: The Miz

Many WWE legends have commented on the fact that The Miz is slowly becoming one of WWE's greatest villains and it seems that kind of talent and ability doesn't come overnight. Miz obviously had a lot of talent when he first came to WWE something that many superstars thought was arrogance because of his background in performing but is it the confidence that makes him come across as strange? Or is it the bizarre haircut?

No one really had any style in the 1990s, but most people were able to get rid of any of the evidence that they had bad fashion sense so that it couldn't be held against them later in life. Miz wasn't quick enough to get rid of these images and now they will haunt him forever.

15 Cute: The Bella Twins

More than a decade ago The Bella Twins walked into WWE and the place hasn't been the same since. Nikki and Brie managed to change the landscape of the Women's Division in their own way and they now join this list because once again they were two cute little girls who had dreams of becoming models one day.

The duo has since adapted to life in WWE and been able to prove that they have what it takes to step in the ring with some of the best that WWE currently has to offer. Brie even has her own little girl right now as well that is just as cute as she once was.

14 Creepy: Sheamus

Sheamus is one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions alongside Cesaro, and the Irish star has become quite successful as a heel in WWE over the past few years. Looking at images from his childhood, it's safe to say that Sheamus is another star who was always destined to be a villain.

Just look at that facial expression, someone wasn't happy about having his photo taken and years later it looks as though the Great White star has only just become accustomed to having his photo taken on a regular basis. As the saying goes "If looks could kill" a young Sheamus definitely knew how to ensure that his family knew that he was not in the mood to have his photo taken.

13 Cute: Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks obviously hasn't always been seen as The Boss when it comes to her own family, but she definitely had her parents wrapped around her little finger when it comes to that smile. Most children have the ability to play their parents, but Sasha has taken that to a whole new level.

Who would have thought that cute little girl would grow up to help change the landscape of WWE for the women in sports? She doesn't look like she would harm a fly, but Sasha has definitely changed since she made the perfect heel on NXT and could once again be set to change her attitude on WWE TV moving forward. Sasha's hair is probably the only thing that has changed since she was a child, otherwise, she is seemingly very similar to younger self.

12 Creepy: The Undertaker

As if three decades of dominance in the squared circle wasn't enough, The Deadman has always had that look that says that he is much better than everyone else. The look he's giving in this image says that he is one of those kids who knows he's at a higher level than his friends, and he's spent the past 30 years proving it.

Undertaker is a fantastic wrestler and someone who has earned the right to be called a legend, but it's shocking to note that he was ginger when he was younger which means that his hair was actually dyed black to fit in with his character. Maybe Undertaker always had a creepy air about him, which is what made him a perfect fit for his iconic gimmick.

11 Cute: John Cena

John Cena is the face of WWE right now, but around 30 years ago he had a much cuter face. The former 16-time World Champion has been in WWE now for more than 15 years and has proved all of his doubters wrong in that time, as he has managed to accomplish everything that his younger self once dreamed of.

Cena is someone who has always been open with images of his youth since he used many of them for his Right Now music video, which showed that ever since he was able to walk Cena has wanted to be a wrestler. He may have been a cute little kid, but that smile was deceiving since there was an AA at the back of his mind for anyone who dared to cross him.

10 Creepy: Lita

Lita is a former Women's Champion and now a WWE Hall of Famer, but at one point she was just another child watching her heroes on TV and hoping for a shot at being a superstar as part of the biggest promotion in the world.

Lita is definitely one of the creepiest WWE stars when it comes to her images from when she was a child. The above image shows her shocking haircut as well as what seems like a sadistic smile. Maybe Lita always had the makings of one of WWE's greatest female heels of all time. If this image of her as a child is anything to go by, it seems like proof that she was always destined to become one of WWE's best villains.

9 Cute: Finn Balor

Finn Balor was crowned the inaugural Universal Champion back at SummerSlam in 2016 but as well as being a decorated superstar, Balor is also someone who has always been quite popular with the ladies.

Even when Finn was much younger, he seems like one of the cutest children out of all of his siblings. It must have been hard for his parents to believe that someone who looks as cute as Finn wanted to go on to fight people for a living. Finn hasn't changed much since he was a child, he has just had to grow into his facial features and what has recently become an iconic smile. The former Champion was always destined to become something of a heartbreaker.

8 Creepy: Kane

Kane is famously called The Devil's Favourite Demon and one look at this childhood image of him will tell you exactly why. Damon from The Omen springs to mind when you think about just how creepy Kane was as a child. The former World Champion was probably always destined to have a gimmick that scared the lives out of children since it's obviously something he has been doing all of his life.

No wonder so many fans were easily fooled into thinking The Undertaker and Kane were really brothers since they have both had that same creepy look in their eyes ever since they were children. It was a masterstroke from WWE to put the two of them together and allow their destructive minds to run free.

7 Cute: Charlotte

It's strange seeing the Queen before there was a throne for her to sit on or a Women's Division for her to push forward, but the daughter of The Nature Boy was once just a cute little girl who had big dreams.

Charlotte wasn't always destined to step in the ring, gymnastics was always her sport of choice since she watched her father spend long hours away from home when she was growing up and he was busy dominating the wrestling business. Since her brother Reid sadly passed away, Charlotte has stepped up and shown that wrestling is in her DNA since she has already become one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time after only a couple of years in the business.

6 Creepy: The Big Show

The Big Show is billed as The World's Largest Athlete so it's a shock that more people are not intimidated by him, but over the years he has proved that there is much more to him than just his size since he works quite well as a face as well.

Big Show obviously hasn't always been this size and his childhood photos prove that he was once young and cute too, but his photos also prove that he was also quite a creepy looking child. The look in his eyes in the above image is a little bit strange, Big Show was thinking some distressing thoughts when this picture was taken, he seems like he's another sadistic child that knew that one-day wrestling would be part of his everyday life.

5 Cute: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has only been on WWE's main roster for five years, but it is already hard to see the company without him. The Architect has seemingly become one of the best wrestlers that WWE currently has and as his Network documentary showed, Rollins has been training for the business all his life.

Rollins was definitely a cute child as he's seen here with his older brother, but he was a child that enjoyed body-slamming his teddies and getting into fights with his older brother over his favourite wrestler. Some cute children can be deceiving, but this one grew up to be one of the best wrestlers that WWE has ever created. His mother and father have both commented on the kind of person Rollins has grown into and it seems that only comes from good parenting.

4 Creepy: Bubba Ray Dudley

If you're going to go on to become a legend in ECW then it's hard to imagine that there was ever a point in childhood that your friends didn't think you were weird. Bubba Ray is someone who wrestling seeming came naturally too and as a legend of the Tag Team Wrestling business and future Hall of Famer, wrestling has given him a lot in his life.

As a child, he is another star that has to be seen as one of the creepiest. It's like deep down he is aware that in the future he is going to take a plain household object like a table and turn it into every superstar's worst nightmare. It is said that Wrestling legends aren't born they're created, but Bubba Ray may be one of the ones who was born to be that way.

3 Cute: Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss has definitely taken the WWE world by storm over the past few years as the former Cheerleader has managed to step up her game on the main roster and give some of the biggest female wrestlers of today a run for their money.

Alexa has been quite open about the struggles she faced as a child and even talked about how she always wanted to be a Barbie doll. Her mother raised her into the perfect little girl and the cute photos prove that there was once a time that butter wouldn't melt in her mouth and now she's one of the best female heels on WWE TV. Times have definitely changed between the first and second images in the above photo.

2 Creepy: Chris Jericho

Jericho has been claiming that he's the greatest wrestler of all time ever since he beat The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in one night to become the Undisputed WWE Champion, but only recently the wrestling world has decided to believe him when it comes to the longevity of his career and the level he has managed to retain throughout.

That kind of thing doesn't come by chance, Jericho is another star who came into the business young and has managed to flourish over the past few years. His younger photos definitely don't do him justice though since the 1990s were not ones that anyone wants to remember when it comes to crazy hairstyles and strange fashion sense. Jericho does come across as somewhat creepy and strange when it comes to his younger self.

1 Cute: Rey Mysterio

WWE's biggest little man seemingly was once a little man himself and he had the chubby cheeks to prove it. The smiley Rey Mysterio on the right probably had no idea that he would go on to become one of the most famous high fliers in history, because he was too busy being a child and dreaming of one day stepping foot in the ring like most of his family.

Rey even took his grandfather's name when he came to WWE and the King of Mystery has been able to keep some parts of his life private for most of his career. His childhood images weren't able to remain private though, which is why many of the WWE Universe are now aware of just how cute the former World Champion used to be.
