WWE's Creative Team Has A New Rule To Follow

As if writing three hours of television every Monday wasn't hard enough, it seems WWE's creative team now has yet another rule to follow in writing RAW. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the writers now have to work in references from recent cultural events into the opening promo of every show.

Recently, we've heard references to the Super Bowl, The Emmys and The Grammys thrown into the script in the opening segment. In addition to that, the WWE is working on making their product a little edgier going into WrestleMania season, as has been evident in the Shane McMahon/Undertaker storyline.

You have to wonder how forced some of these references are going to sound.
