X-Pac Talks Upcoming Hall Of Fame Induction, Says He Doesn't Want To Go Solo

Sean Waltman has sounded off on his upcoming Hall of Fame induction following the news this week that he will receive the honor from the WWE as a member of D-Generation X.

The former DX member revealed that he was made aware of the development through a phone call he received from WWE's head of talent relations Mark Carrano but didn't really see it coming despite having recently renewed his Legends contract with the company.

“It kind of made me assume it was just because of everything going on with AEW,” Waltman said on his X-Pac 12360 podcast.

“I never really connected it to a Hall of Fame thing.”

There were many who felt that X-Pac should be inducted on his own but, as he previously shared on Twitter, he'd rather things just the way they're planned.

“I could give two sh*ts about going in on my own,” he added.

“If you ask me what my choice is, go in on my own, or go in with the people I had the greatest time in my life with, I’m going to pick going in with them every single time you ask me.”

Fans had similar sentiments regarding Chyna, who will be inducted as part of DX as well.

“Obviously she is worthy of being inducted by herself,” he counters. “For a lot of people, this wasn’t good enough.”

“I would encourage them to take the win. A win doesn’t always come exactly how you want it to, but it’s a win none the less."

Asked if he feels worthy of the honor, Waltman admitted that he was quite surprised, although he reckons he accomplished a whole lot.

“It’s not that I don’t feel worthy, because I do understand the things I’ve done in the industry and in my career and all that, but I’m just blown away by all of it,” he explained

“I’ve done things in my career, accomplishments, DX, nWo, being in The Kliq and all that. You go, okay, eventually that induction will happen, but I wasn’t sure I would still be around for it to be honest with you,” X-Pac says. “Not everyone is going to make it up to that stage.”

What This Means

While it would have been great to have both X-Pac and Chyna inducted as solos, that they're going in as part of the group they made one of the best-ever factions in the WWE is still great.

According to X-Pac, he wouldn't have it any other way. That is probably the correct way to feel.
