While 2022 may still be a while away, the fact is that many wrestling fans have already begun thinking about the possibilities and the potential feuds that could end up happening next year. The WWE Draft taking place has opened up a lot of ideas for people, and some of them have the chance to be great, while fans would rather avoid certain others.

Some storylines could end up being fantastic if WWE can build things up well enough. However, there are plenty of others that people would rather see the company avoid if possible, purely because fans are not that interested in the idea.

10 Don't Want To See: The New Day vs. The Usos

New Day wrestling The Usos

The New Day and The Usos are two great tag team wrestlers and they had an amazing feud against each other throughout their careers. However, they have wrestled a lot over the years and fans would much rather see something fresh taking place.

The two teams would be able to get the best out of other competitors by working with them instead, creating fresh angles, and raising the division overall. Had Big E been kept with New Day then this storyline would've had more potential with Roman Reigns' involvement, but WWE changed that with the draft.

9 Do Want: Roman Reigns vs. The Rock

Roman Reigns &The Rock

Speaking of Roman Reigns, one feud that fans are desperate to see take place in 2022 is between him and The Rock. This is the major WrestleMania storyline that fans have wanted for The Tribal Chief since this entire angle began, and it does feel like WWE has been building towards it.

It is a major money match and something that would drive in huge crowds and outside interest because of The Rock's involvement. But it is also the perfect way to continue Roman's family-orientated storyline which would really work with The Rock.

8 Don't Want To See: Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks

This is another storyline WWE could do now that they're both on the same brand. However, it is another rivalry that fans aren't desperate to see. The problem with this one is that WWE has simply done it too much, with fans being well aware of what their matches look like.

While there is absolutely no doubt that they put together a fantastic match when they're in the ring together, WWE would be smarter booking fresh matches in order to push the division further forwards.

7 Do Want: Kevin Owens vs. Big E

This is something that WWE could put together straight away if the company wanted, but that doesn't mean they should. Kevin Owens has been struggling as of late, but if WWE can spend the rest of the year building him up properly, then there is no reason why this cannot work.

KO as a heel would be a fantastic foil for Big E, especially if the WWE Championship is involved. Owens would make a perfect challenger for the title and, with their promo abilities, they could really bring the fans in and make them invest.

6 Don't Want To See: Riddle vs. Randy Orton

Something that WWE loves to do is split up its tag teams, normally by one person turning heel on the other. While Randy Orton and Riddle do not need to be a team forever, they also don't have to feud when they inevitably break up.

Audiences have really bought into them as a team and the unique friendship that they have, and that is something that doesn't need to change. Fans don't want to see them feud and fight against each other, therefore WWE would be best to avoid this one.

5 Do Want: Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles

This is a storyline that audiences are desperate to see, with the two former Bullet Club leaders now being on the same brand together. Even though Finn Balor and AJ Styles have a shared history, they have only wreslted once throughout their careers, which would make this a fresh and exciting storyline.

Giving AJ and Omos the rest of the year to then potentially split up and allow Styles to refocus on singles wrestling would let this one be set up for 2022. The in-ring product would be fantastic between them as well, which is why WWE needs to book this.

4 Don't Want To See: Happy Corbin vs. Drew McIntyre

This is a storyline that WWE could very easily end up booking, with the company loving to give Happy Corbin big opportunities. He is a great heel and his new gimmick is working, but a storyline against Drew McIntyre isn't something anybody is desperate to see.

McIntyre needs a fresh start at the moment due to the fact that he's been struggling as of late, and that is why WWE needs to create a slightly more exciting storyline opportunity for him as a talent.

3 Do Want: Bayley vs. Becky Lynch

When Bayley returns to WWE, the company has the chance to bring her back as one of the biggest babyfaces around. She is beloved by fans and her heel gimmick was starting to become very popular, therefore having her return to then work with a big heel like Becky Lynch would be fun to see.

Lynch is working as a heel and that is something that sets this up perfectly for next year. The two women have never had a major singles storyline against each other either which is another reason fans are excited about this possibility as it's something fresh.

2 Don't Want To See: Edge vs.The Miz

Edge on Miz TV Cropped

Now that Edge is back on the red brand, there is a chance that WWE may want to book a storyline between him and The Miz. However, this is something that the company should avoid, purely because there are too many better options.

The Miz is a great talker and he can really bring heat into any situation. However, there are a lot of other dream matches for the Rated R Superstar in WWE that the company needs to focus on first before this type of story should be told.

1 Do Want: Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley

Brock Lesnar & Bobby Lashley have yet to face each other.

As soon as Brock Lesnar returns to WWE, fans instantly became excited about the possibility of him wrestling Bobby Lashley. This is a dream match that audiences have wanted for a long time and now the opportunity is there for this to actually happen.

Lashley is working at the top of his game right now and he finally feels like he's at the level to truly work against the Beast. They would have an intense and hard-hitting encounter that could be brilliant to watch, and hopefully, that is something that will take place.
