It was announced by Stephanie McMahon that she would take an indefinite leave of absence from WWE, reports suggesting she was dealing with some personal issues but the details of those issues were not public knowledge. There's a bit more information about her leave after a company meeting that addressed her taking time away.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE held an “all hands on deck” meeting with the staff on Thursday. As part of that meeting, they discussed Stephanie's leaving, saying that she needed some time away after everything that had happened with her family in recent months, including, but likely not limited to her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s health issues. The company mentioned that new hires were being brought in to fill the duties Stephanie was responsible for, but that they wouldn't be arriving for a couple of weeks. That announcement made it very clear to everyone that Stephanie's leave wasn't going to be short-term.

There is speculation that there is more to the leave than just Triple H's health, but that was not discussed and those issues may never be addressed publicly.

Also during that meeting, WWE President Nick Khan talked about the WWE Network and stated the company is looking at deals with markets outside of North America. Suzette Ramirez-Carr was also introduced as the new Chief of Human Resources.

Best Wishes To Stephanie

Whatever is going on with Stephanie McMahon and for however long she's gone, the hope is that she's ok and the time away helps. Not a lot of fans know how integral a part she plays behind the scenes in WWE is, but she's been voted for and won numerous awards for her work in the industry and as a female executive. Her work with community outreach and branding for WWE in that regard has been second to none.
