Although Alexa Bliss is still quite young when looking at WWE’s overall roster, she has been signed to the company for nine years, meaning that she has wrestled plenty of matches. Amongst PPV bouts and multiple Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship reigns, there are some matches which may have gone under the radar.

From her time spent in NXT to her years of success on the main roster, it is easy to forget some matches she has competed in over those nine years. Bliss has done a lot in WWE, with her being one of the more successful female stars of all time.

10 Alexa Bliss Vs Alicia Fox, NXT 8th May 2014

It is important to make a first impression upon a debut, but Alexa Bliss did just that in her very first televised match in NXT by defeating a main roster talent. This was a big match to have in just her first outing, and it was over quite fast.

Bliss went over Alicia Fox in around 3 minutes in the quarter finals of the NXT Women’s Championship tournament. It wasn’t anything too special, but it was a significant win, nonetheless.

9 Ronda Rousey Vs Alexa Bliss, Hell In A Cell 2018

When fans think of Ronda Rousey vs Alexa Bliss, it is likely that they recall their clash at SummerSlam 2018 in which Rousey squashed Bliss to become the Raw Women’s Champion. A month later, they had a rematch, which wasn’t as impactful or notable.

Instead of making Rousey look strong, this ended up seeing Bliss get a lot of heat on Rousey, beating her down for an extended period, which made for a slow match which negated the effects of their previous encounter.

8 Alexa Bliss Vs Blue Pants, NXT 2nd September 2014

Alexa Bliss vs Blue Pants WWE NXT

After coming to blows at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, Alexa Bliss faced off with the very popular free agent, Blue Pants, on an episode of NXT. Fans may better know Blue Pants as AEW’s Leva Bates, who was one half of the Librarians, which is up there with the worst gimmicks in AEW history.

This was a case of NXT pushing undercard feuds for women, with the NXT Women’s Title not always being the main focus. The match was very short though, making it rather underwhelming and forgettable.

7 Bayley Vs Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Extreme Rules 2019

Bayley vs Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross WWE Extreme Rules 2019

This was a very odd match at a poor time for the SmackDown Women’s Title. Although Bliss was steadily turning babyface, she was still mostly a heel at this time, so seeing her team up with a babyface Nikki Cross to battle another babyface in Bayley for a title, meant for the dynamic and logic of the booking to feel off.

For a PPV title match, this didn’t feel like a big enough showdown, especially since it lasted just 10 minutes, with Bayley beating two opponents without too much issue.

6 Alexa Bliss Vs Eva Marie, SummerSlam 2021

Alexa Bliss vs. Eva Marie at SummerSlam 2021

This is a very easy match to forget about simply due to how insignificant Eva Marie’s latest run in WWE was. She was signed to the company for barely any time, with her fear of Bliss’ spooky antics being one of the most notable things she did.

Their match at SummerSlam lasted just under four minutes and it featured absolutely nothing of note, with it not being long until Marie was once again let go from the company.

5 Alexa Bliss Vs Charlotte Flair, NXT 15th May 2014

Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte Flair WWE NXT

Several years before Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss would become two of the most acclaimed female superstars in WWE, they faced off on WWE’s developmental brand, in what was just Bliss’ second televised match in NXT.

It wasn’t too long, and the action wasn’t perfect, but this just goes to show how far both competitors have come since then. Charlotte Flair picked up the win in this match, with her headed to become the NXT Women’s Champion in the finals of the tournament to crown a new titleholder.

4 Alexa Bliss Vs Shayna Baszler, Hell In A Cell 2021

Alexa Bliss v Shayna Baszler Hell in a Cell 2021 Cropped

This was a horrendous match which fans have likely forced to the back of their minds in order to forget it ever happened. Former badass killer Shayna Baszler was made to look like a fool in this match, as Bliss no-sold everything due to ‘magic’.

Other shenanigans included Bliss hypnotising Nia Jax to slap Reginald, with Baszler having to sell as though she was scared of it all. This is up there with the worst PPV matches of the year, and it feels surreal to even comprehend that this match played out how it did.

3 Alexa Bliss & Braun Strowman Vs Becky Lynch & Sami Zayn, Mixed Match Challenge 30th January 2018

Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman vs Becky Lynch and Sami Zayn WWE

WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge was a nice concept on paper, but it went down as a huge failure due a complete lack of care from both WWE and the audience. However, whilst this tournament is a forgotten thing of the past, it rocked up some interesting and unique pairings and matchups.

One of the most intriguing dynamics was when Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman took on Becky Lynch and Sami Zayn, which was a big clash of styles, but it worked out as an entertaining match in the end.

2 Alexa Bliss Vs Charlotte Flair, Survivor Series 2017

Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte Flair WWE Survivor Series 2017

When looking at WWE’s Survivor Series events since the 2016 brand split, many of the shows feel as though they mesh into one big forgettable mess, largely due to the lack of stakes involved. In 2017, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair represented their respective brands in a champion vs champion match.

It was a strange dynamic, with the pair both being heels, and whilst the action was fine, it was unspectacular to say the least. They wrestled a simple match which resulted in a contest which wasn’t memorable in the slightest.

1 Alexa Bliss Vs Tessa Blanchard, NXT 13th April 2016

Alexa Bliss vs Tessa Blanchard WWE NXT

It seems quite surreal to see that this match has taken place, but it certainly did so on an episode of NXT. Whilst she would become one of the most controversial names in wrestling, Tessa Blanchard was nothing more than just enhancement talent in this match, with her putting Bliss over.

In just four minutes, Bliss decisively put away someone who would go on to become the Impact World Champion in the years following. However, this was a very brief appearance for Blanchard in WWE, so it is easy to forget about.
