Stephanie McMahon began dating WWE Superstar Triple H in 2000, while they were in an on-screen romantic angle. Even though her father banned her from dating the wrestlers, Stephanie persevered and succeeded in convinced Vince McMahon to allow her to continue her relationship with The Game.

They got engaged on Valentine's Day 2003 and their wedding took place at the St. Teresa of Avila Church in Sleepy Hollow, New York, on October 25, 2003. Following the wedding, Stephanie took her husband's surname while legally changing her middle name to McMahon.

After taking the role of Executive Vice President of Creative in 2007, Stephanie McMahon took on the initiative to brainstorm the development of the WWE app and was also instrumental in WWE's partnerships with the USO Metropolitan Washington and Yahoo. He assumed the role of EVP of Global Talent Strategy & Development in 2020 and also became the Executive Producer of NXT. The Texas Rattlesnake has shared the screen with Stephanie McMahon both as rivals and allies in the past, and their relationship transcends beyond the ring and has shown tons of mutual respect over the years.

Stephanie McMahon's first appearance on WWE TV came in a backstage segment with Stone Cold Steve Austin in November 1998. She worked as an extra at the segment in which Austin would ask her where The Undertaker was.
