First up on this list is the fatal-4-way ladder match between Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio, and Kevin Owens, which took place on the October 25, 2021, episode of Raw.
It took place to determine the new No.1 contender for Big E's WWE Championship, and Balor put on a great showing in the contest. He was fingertips away from reaching the contract, but Rollins stopped him just in time and took him out with a stomp to win the match and become the No.1 Contender for the WWE Championship.
9 Finn Balor Vs. Adam Cole - 8.22 (NXT Super Tuesday, 2020)
Following his loss against The Fiend at the 2019 SummerSlam PPV, Finn Balor shocked the WWE Universe by returning to NXT. He staked his claim at the NXT Championship, and his moment came at NXT Super Tuesday in September 2020, where he took on Adam Cole for the vacant title.

Finn Balor's first NXT Championship reign between July 2015 and April 2016 lasted for an impressive 292 days, which was the record for the longest reign with the title until Adam Cole surpassed him in 2020. Balor defended the title against all comers, and he faced a tough challenge when Samoa Joe stepped in to challenge him for the title. Their first match took place at NXT TakeOver London in December 2015, where Balor performed in his Demon King persona.
Balor managed to escape from Joe's attempts at the Muscle Buster and the Coquina Clutch and prevailed to retain the title in a hard-hitting contest.

After Finn Balor's original opponent Bray Wyatt couldn't compete at the event due to medical issues, AJ Styles stepped up as The Demon King's replacement opponent at the 2017 TLC PPV.

Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura have shared the ring as both partners and opponents on various occasions throughout their time in NJPW. They also competed as partners in various NXT live events before they had their first one-on-one match on the July 13, 2016, episode of NXT.
Nakamura was on his way to capturing his first NXT Championship, and WWE had to build him up as a credible threat to champion Samoa Joe. It was at that time when Nakamura challenged former NXT Champion Finn Balor to a singles contest, and the showdown between the two legendary wrestlers turned out to be an instant classic. Finn Balor entered the NXT Championship picture for the first time when he entered a No.1 contender's tournament in January 2015. He defeated Curtis Axel in the first round and Hideo Itami in the semi-final to reach the finals of the tournament.
He took on Neville in the finals, and the match took place at the 2015 NXT TakeOver: Rival PPV. Both Balor and Neville tried their best to overcome each other in a back & forth contest that lasted 13:25 minutes, and Balor finally picked up the victory after delivering a Coup de Grâce on Neville.

After winning the No.1. Contender's tournament, Finn Balor wasn't successful in his first attempt at the NXT Championship against Kevin Owens. He received another opportunity at the championship at the Beast in the East event in Tokyo, Japan, on July 2015.
