New WWE United States Champion ‘The All Mighty’ Bobby Lashley has transformed into one of WWE’s best performers in his second run with the company, with excellent matches and rivalries particularly during his run as WWE Champion. With his exciting, powerhouse style that has only improved rapidly over the years, Lashley continues to stake his claim as a top tier WWE star.

Lashley rarely loses in singles competition but when he does, it is always a significant moment. Which losses of Lashley’s rank as the best in terms of match quality and the story at hand?

10 Vs. MVP, WWE Monday Night RAW May 23rd 2022

Bobby Lashley vs MVP WWE RAW

This was a very brief, uneventful match that only served to prolong the Lashley vs Omos and MVP rivalry. Running for only three minutes until Omos attempted to attack Lashley causing him to be counted out, this was extremely forgettable and serves as a highly pointless loss for Lashley even via countout.

9 Vs. Omos, WWE WrestleMania Backlash ‘22

Omos wrestling Bobby Lashley

This was a below average bout between Omos and Lashley during their WWE RAW rivalry, with the clash of the big men failing to achieve its desired goal with a slow and plodding match taking place. Add on top of that a dirty finish with MVP attacking Lashley to gift Omos the win, and this was unfortunately not the best use of Lashley’s immense ability against the still-developing Omos.

8 Vs. Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, Austin Theory, Riddle, & Seth Rollins, WWE Championship, Elimination Chamber, WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

Brock Lesnar hits F5 on Austin Theory WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

A good Elimination Chamber match, although one marred by poor booking. The action was great throughout, but Lashley’s elimination, particularly considering he was heading in as WWE Champion, was very disappointing as he suffered an injury. From there, Lesnar tore through everyone in quick succession including some of WWE’s very best such as AJ Styles and Seth Rollins.

While there were some redeeming moments like Theory’s performance, this was a good but very flawed Elimination Chamber main event with Lesnar emerging as WWE Champion in predictable fashion.

7 Vs. Riddle & John Morrison, WWE United States Championship, WWE Elimination Chamber 2021

Bobby Lashley vs Riddle vs John Morrison WWE Elimination Chamber 2021

A very good triple threat for Lashley’s WWE United States Championship at last year’s Elimination Chamber event, with Riddle and John Morrison challenging ‘The Almighty’. While Keith Lee was supposed to be the third man in this bout, Morrison was a good replacement as Lashley dominated him and Riddle. Good, fast action throughout with Riddle and Morrison attempting to overcome the power of Lashley together, and a very fun match overall. Riddle would rid Lashley from the ring to pin Morrison, becoming new WWE United States Champion.

6 Vs. Goldberg, No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere, WWE Crown Jewel 2021

Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg WWE Crown Jewel 2021

This was a very good No Holds Barred bout between Lashley and Goldberg at 2021s WWE Crown Jewel PPV in a surprising twist given their weak SummerSlam meeting. Lashley sold Goldberg’s high-octane offense superbly with the crowd going wild for each big spot in a perfectly executed display of Goldberg’s strengths. Goldberg would secure the win with a huge spear off the entrance ramp in a great finish to a very strong match overall.

5 Vs. Drew McIntyre, WWE Championship, WWE Backlash ’20

Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley

A great big hoss fight here between Lashley and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre even with the lack of a live crowd. Both men put their all in to make this match memorable, with stellar performances from both as they traded highly physical, exciting offense. The submissions were a nice touch also with a palpable intensity throughout, with the only low point being the finish as the Lana/Lashley storyline continued to the excitement of nobody gifting McIntyre the distraction win.

4 Vs. Big E, WWE Championship, WWE Monday Night RAW 27th September 2021

Bobby Lashley vs Big E WWE RAW

This was a great Steel Cage bout between Big E and Lashley, with 'The All Mighty' looking to reclaim his WWE Championship. Excellent intensity and physicality throughout with a hot crowd to boot, as the two traded big moves back and forth. The integration of New Day and the Hurt Business was also splendidly executed, adding to Big E's triumphant victory after a Big Ending from the second rope. Great match top to bottom.

3 Vs. Brock Lesnar, Big E, Kevin Owens, & Seth Rollins, Fatal 5-Way, WWE Championship, WWE Day 1

WWE Day 1 Fatal 5 Way WWE Championship

A stellar, blistering Fatal Five-Way for the WWE Championship at WWE’s Day 1 event back on January 1st of this year. Although only lasting less than ten minutes, the five men wrestled a fantastic sprint with every competitor trading huge maneuvers in a well-executed sprint.

A bomb fest of epic proportions from bell to bell, the only downside here being Big E’s WWE Championship loss to Lesnar after an underwhelming title reign. Otherwise, it was a great bout, although it could have run a little longer to hit another level.

2 Vs. Big E, WWE Championship, WWE Monday Night RAW September 13th 2021

Big E cashing in on Bobby Lashley WWE Raw

While extremely short in match length, the moment here was utterly incredible with Big E ascending to the top of the mountain in WWE after cashing in his Money In The Bank contract on Lashley after his defeat of Randy Orton. The crowd was molten-hot for E's monumental win in this shocking moment to close RAW, and while his title reign did not achieve the same epic levels, this was an unforgettable moment to remember.

1 Vs. Roman Reigns & Big E, Triple Threat, WWE Monday Night Raw September 20th 2021

Roman Reigns defeats Big E and Bobby Lashley WWE RAW

This was a spectacular main event on WWE RAW last September with Lashley facing off against new WWE Champion Big E and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a monumental match-up. The three stars tore the house down with fantastic in-ring work throughout particularly in the final few minutes with tantalizing near falls. The crowd was roaring the whole time for the action, and a clever finish as Reigns pinned Lashley thanks to his preoccupation with Big E who had cashed in on him the week prior. Sensational top to bottom.
