With that said, let's take a look at every Brock Lesnar SummerSlam match and their rankings, according to veteran journalist Dave Meltzer.

11 Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns (SummerSlam 2018) - 2.5

The first on the list is the Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2018. After not being able to overcome The Beast Incarnate after multiple attempts, it was Roman Reigns' final chance at redemption, and he used the best use of the opportunity at the event by finally getting his first one-on-one victory over Lesnar and capturing his first Universal Championship.

Money in the Bank contract holder Braun Strowman also played a minor part in the match by coming out to cash in but was stopped in his tracks by Lesnar. The match lasted only 6:10 minutes and wasn't exactly a technical masterpiece, thus earning a 2.5-star rating from Meltzer.

Brock Lesnar faced his fellow OVW graduate Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2016, and WWE did well to sell the match to the fans during the build-up to the event.

The match lasted a decent 11:45 minutes and was the main event of the night, and the two legendary wrestlers tried their best to overcome each other. However, it was Lesnar who ended up on the winning side after delivering legitimate stiff blows to Orton's skull, resulting in the Beast Incarnate winning the match by TKO.

9 Brock Lesnar Vs. The Rock (SummerSlam 2002) - 3.25

After making his WWE debut in March 2002, Brock Lesnar didn't take much time before entering the world title picture. Lesnar received a shot at The Rock's Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2002 after winning that year's King of the Ring tournament.

The match took place at the main event of SummerSlam 2002 and was a decent match that lasted 16:01 minutes. After a series of back and forth action, Brock Lesnar got the best of The Rock by reversing a Rock Bottom attempt into an F5 to win his first WWE Championship.

8 Brock Lesnar Vs. Triple H (SummerSlam 2012) - 3.5

Brock Lesnar competed in his first SummerSlam match after an eight-year absence from WWE at the 2012 edition of the event. He entered a feud with Triple H after the latter stopped Lesnar's contract negotiations with John Laurinaitis, which led to Lesnar breaking Triple H's arm and filing kayfabe lawsuits against WWE.

It led to a match between the two at SummerSlam 2012, with the stipulation that Lesnar has to drop all lawsuits in order to get the match. Lesnar dominated Triple H at the event and made him tap out to the Kimura Lock after a long 18:45-minute contest.

7 Brock Lesnar Vs. The Undertaker (SummerSlam 2015) - 4

After losing his iconic undefeated streak to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, The Undertaker returned to get some redemption against The Beast Incarnate at the 2015 Battleground PPV and cost Lesnar his WWE Championship match against Seth Rollins.

WWE announced a rematch between Lesnar and Undertaker at SummerSlam 2015, and the two superstars took each other to their limits at the main event of the show. Brock Lesnar gave The Deadman a good fight but passed out to the Hell's Gate submission to give The Undertaker the match by TKO.

6 Brock Lesnar Vs. Seth Rollins (SummerSlam 2019) - 4.25

After losing the Universal Championship to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35, Brock Lesnar went on to win the MITB ladder match and cashed in against Rollins at the 2019 Extreme Rules PPV to reclaim the title.

Seth Rollins got his rematch for the title at the main event of the 2019 SummerSlam PPV and looked to replicate his WrestleMania success. Despite being heavily wounded by Lesnar during the build-up to the event, Rollins was able to slay the beast once again and defeated Lesnar after hitting three stomps to win back the Universal Championship.

5 Brock Lesnar Vs. John Cena (SummerSlam 2014) - 4.25

After John Cena retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the 2014 Battleground PPV, WWE COO Triple H announced Brock Lesnar as Cena's opponent for the title at that year's SummerSlam PPV.

It was Brock Lesnar's first world title opportunity since his return, and he looked to win back the championship at the same event where he won his first WWE Championship a dozen years ago. Lesnar dominated Cena at the event and delivered 16 suplexes to him during the match before mercifully ending the match after hitting Cena with an F5 and walking away with the gold.

4 Brock Lesnar Vs. Kurt Angle (SummerSlam 2003) - 4.25

After Kurt Angle defeated Brock Lesnar at the 2003 Vengeance PPV to win back the WWE Championship, The Beast Incarnate aligned himself with Mr. McMahon in a plot against Angle, which led to a rematch at SummerSlam 2003.

Angle had Lesnar trapped on the Ankle Lock during the match, only for Vince McMahon to break it up with a steel chair to Angle's back. But the Olympic Gold Medalist overcame the odds despite McMahon's interference and made Lesnar tap out to the Ankle Lock to retain the title.

3 Brock Lesnar Vs. CM Punk (SummerSlam 2013) - 4.5

After Brock Lesnar attacked CM Punk on the Raw after the 2013 Payback PPV, tensions rose between Punk and Paul Heyman. However, Heyman showed his true allegiance to Lesnar by turning against Punk at that year's MITB PPV.

After enduring, yet another attack at the hands of Lesnar, Punk challenged the Beast to a match at SummerSlam 2013. It was a no-disqualification bout, and it saw Heyman ruining Punk's every attempt at beating Lesnar. Brock Lesnar prevailed in the end by hitting Punk with a steel chair and hitting an F5 on top of it to get the win.

2 Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns (SummerSlam 2022) - 4.5

In what was billed as the final chapter between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, The Beast Incarnate challenged The Tribal Chief for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Last Man Standing Match at SummerSlam 2022.

Brock Lesnar looked to finish Reigns for good and took extreme measures like driving a tractor down to ringside, which he used to take down the entire ring along with Reigns. Despite his best efforts, the odds were not in Lesnar's favor as The Usos' constant interruption helped Roman Reigns to bury Lesnar with pieces of the broken announce table and steel stairs to keep him down for the 10-count.

1 Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns Vs. Samoa Joe Vs. Braun Strowman (SummerSlam 2017) - 4.75

During his iconic 504-day run as the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar defended the title against three challengers at the 2017 SummerSlam PPV. Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe competed in a No.1 contender's match on the July 17, 2017, episode of Raw, but the bout ended in a no-contest after Braun Strowman attacked both superstars.

As a result, Raw GM Kurt Angle had to announce a fatal-four-way match for the Universal Championship at the 2017 SummerSlam PPV, with Lesnar defending against Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman. The match went on for an impressive 20:52 minutes at the event, with all four competitors taking each other to their limits. Strowman took Lesnar out during the initial stages of the bout, but The Beast Incarnate persevered and won the match after hitting an F5 on Roman Reigns.
