WWE is reportedly considering the idea of adding another NXT Stand & Deliver pay-per-view to the weekend of an upcoming stadium show.

Over the next four months, WWE will run three pay-per-views inside stadiums: Money in the Bank 2022 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada on July 2, SummerSlam 2022 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30 and Clash at the Castle inside Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

According to a report from WrestleVotes, the company "has discussed adding another Stand & Deliver event for" Money in the Bank, SummerSlam or Clash at the Castle. WrestleVotes noted that Clash at the Castle is "the preference", but SummerSlam "seems more likely". Nothing has been finalized.

The next WWE pay-per-view, WrestleMania Backlash, will take place this Sunday inside the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. NXT Stand & Deliver 2022 was held inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Apr. 2 — the same night as day one of WrestleMania 38 weekend. The latter took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Tommaso Ciampa at NXT Stand and Deliver

Clash at the Castle will be the first WWE pay-per-view to take place inside the United Kingstom since SummerSlam 1992, which was held inside the legendary Wembley Stadium in London, England on Apr. 29.

Another Stand & Deliver Event Would Be A Smart Call

With more tickets to sell at stadium shows, it would make sense for WWE to add another NXT event to either Money in the Bank, SummerSlam or Clash at the Castle. WWE is reportedly waiting until a stadium pay-per-view to run the highly-anticipated Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre program, so Vince McMahon and company obviously want to stack these events with matches. McIntyre and RK-Bro will face Reigns and The Usos in a six-man tag team match at WrestleMania Backlash.

Why not add a pay-per-view for NXT stars to one of the three PPVs? It would only help generate more interest and ticket sales, after all.
