WWE Crown Jewel was taking place from Saudia Arabia despite some rumors earlier in the week that there might be some targeted attacks on the Kingdom. Things moved forward and the show kicked off with Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar and ended with an incredible match between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. This was a solid show, with few low points. The crowd was hot for the action and the performers showed up in a major way.

Here are your winners and losers for Crown Jewel 2022:

Winner: Lashley Turns Heel?

The match between Lashley and Brock Lesnar was too short, but what WWE did give fans was solid. The live crowd was clearly behind Lesnar and that works out if the idea here was to turn Lashley heel. The All Mighty essentially kicked Lesnar's butt throughout the match but as he had the Hurt Lock applied, Lesnar used the ropes to push himself backward and onto Lashley. Lashley kept the hold applied but his shoulders were down and the official counted three. Lashley lost and Lesnar barely survived.

Unhappy about losing, Lashley applied The Hurt Lock again to a chorus of boos. Is Lashley heel now? He sure behaved that way, even if the outcome of the match and his frustration with it is understandable.

Winner: Damage CTRL Win Titles

It didn't take long for Damage CTRL to get back the Women's Tag Team Titles. The switch was likely done as a ratings grab on Raw and the plan was always to give the belt back (since the nameplates were never changed) but it worked as a way to garner a bit of extra interest in the match and put a title change on the card for the Saudi fans. The feeling here is that Bliss might go back to being a singles star after the obvious distraction she felt when talking in an interview prior to the match and Bray Wyatt's logo flashed on the monitor.

This was a competitive match with several all four women getting their stuff in and looking good. The finish was intriguing as Nikki Cross came down to the ring and stopped Bliss from hitting her finisher. Helping Dakota Kai and Iy Sky means we really have no idea where Cross sits in terms of her heel or babyface status. Neither team knew she was going to get involved.

Winner: Karrion Kross vs. Drew McIntyre (Steel Cage)

This was the third match between Kross and McIntyre, but it was easily their best. This was a fight and Kross needed a big showing as he'd yet to really establish himself as a top heel who could do in the ring. He didn't win -- McIntyre beat him out of the cage when Scarlett made a mistake by locking Kross in -- but he looked strong in defeat. Typically, these third matches mean the end of the rivalry, but it's not clear these two are done. Kross looked like he had more in the tank and he wasn't pleased about losing in such a close-call fashion.

The Superflex on Kross by McIntrye halfway into the match was the spot of the contest. It got a "Holy s--t" chant from the crowd.

Winner: The OC vs. The Judgment Day

Another good match, this contest pitted two of WWE's future top factions against each other. The pace was solid and the action fun, but Rhea Ripley was once again the difference-maker in the building, hitting AJ Styles with a drop on the apron that allowed Finn Balor to land the Coup de Gras for the win. If these two groups are going to do battle again (which they might), The O.C. needs its own female member to even things out. Even Michael Cole said, "Somebody needs to kick her a$$!" because she's able to do what she wants with no real deterrent.

One of the moments of the pay-per-view that is getting a ton of attention is the fact that Cole actually said the words "Bullet Club" when hyping up the history of the members of this match. Whether it was intentional or not is up for debate, but it was a cool moment for a lot of fans who never thought WWE would utter those words.

Winner/Loser: Strowman vs. Omos

The least entertaining match on the card, WWE still did a good job of telling a story here. Strowman was the underdog for the first time in his career and Omos dominated for most of the bout, only getting caught with a quick power slam and a three-count. Everything Strowman tried up to that point didn't work. The Strowman Express was stopped in its tracks until Omos -- without the help of MVP -- made a mistake and got caught. Strowman stood tall at the end, but he looked like he was going to take the loss for most of the contest.

Winner: Brawling Brutes vs Usos

These are two of WWE's best teams/factions. Every time they get in the ring, the action is strong because each works so well as a unit but also has its own story to tell with their moves as singles. Butch targeted limbs for most of the match, while Ridge Holland showed off his strength and got a measure of revenge for the injured Sheamus. The Usos continue to prove why their arguably the best team in the industry and they picked up the win to retain their titles.

There were a number of close pins in this one and the fans were into every bit of the action.

Winner: Bianca Belair vs Bayley

This was one of the better matches of the evening with a creative finish that fans have never seen before. A Last Woman Standing match meant the two competitors could go anywhere and the did travel around the arena a bit. Bayley tried to run Bianca down with a golf cart, only be stuck on the top and go for a ride down the rampway. There were plenty of chair shots, and uses of a ladder, including in the finish where Beliar trapped Bayley in between the rungs of the ladder and then under the bottom turnbuckle so she couldn't open it to stand up. Belair picked up the win to retain her Raw Women's Championship.

Winner: Logan Paul vs. Roman Reigns

There's no denying how good Logan Paul is this early in his run as a WWE Superstar. Three matches in and he's already as good or better than half the existing roster. He understands the spectacle of it all, gets the drama, can hit moves with athleticism and battled through to the finish despite suffering a couple of major injuries. Give Roman Reigns credit too. He knew just how to play off the inexperience and celebrity status that was Paul coming into the match and shocking people with his ability. When Paul hit the "one lucky punch", I'm sure there were a lot of fans who thought he might actually win.

The finish was quick, but that's expected when you hit a Superman Punch and a Spear on someone like Paul, who isn't supposed to kick out of those moves. The frog splash off the top rope with the cell phone was great and Jake Paul did a good job getting involved and not going overboard when he tried to limit the effect The Uso and Solo Sikoa were going to have.

* Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley when he got a quick pin after falling on top of Lashley while the Hurt Lock was applied.

* Damage CTRL won the Women's Tag Team Titles when Nikki Cross took out Alexa Bliss and allowed Dakota Kia to get the cover and the win.

* The Usos defeated The Brawling Brutes to retain their WWE Tag Team Titles
