Before WWE invested in the women's division and put them on the same level as the men, the company saw them as divas who were out to entertain through their looks alone. While some of those ladies were able to break through that barrier and put together some memorable moments, there were plenty of others that barely featured.

Even some that did get used at times on television didn't necessarily make a true impact that people would remember, which is one of the reasons fans have forgotten about them. These women were never truly relevant during their stints in WWE, despite their best efforts.

10 Aksana

Aksana

Aksana never felt like a relevant part of the product during her time with the company, with the majority of her run being kept to backstage segments. Whether she was in an angle with Teddy Long or Cesaro, WWE very much tapped into the looks that she brought to the ring.

While she tried to entertain fans with everything she did, all the storylines that Aksana was given were on the sidelines and never a big part of the product, which has ultimately led to most fans forgetting about her.

9 Cameron

Cameron Pins Naomi

Cameron is someone that fans do remember fondly, but she was still never someone who was relevant during her time in the company. She was mainly used at ringside for Tons Of Funk, and while she got to work alongside Naomi, it was always her partner that WWE focused on.

Cameron did have a lot of personality, but that wasn't something that WWE ever tapped into which was a shame. Had the Women's Tag Team Titles been around during her run, there's no doubt The Funkadactyls would've been involved, but instead Cameron wasn't overly relevant.

8 Cherry

Cherry

Cherry was introduced to the WWE Universe alongside Duece and Domino, with this greaser-style tag team having the diva at ringside, often on rollerskates. While she fit what they were trying to do perfectly, that didn't mean that she made much of an impact, as the team wasn't pushed over a long period.

Once her time alongside the duo came to an end things began to become worse for her. Cherry was never given a specific storyline on her own, which is ultimately why she didn't feel relevant to the fans because the company didn't present her in that manner.

7 Katie Lea Burchill

Katie Lea Burchill

Katie Lea Burchill was a fantastic professional wrestler, and that is something that fans got to see during her spell with TNA. However, in WWE she was never a relevant talent that got a focused storyline after her initial presentation alongside Paul Burchill in WWE.

She was the type of wrestler that WWE seemed to throw into random matches on television, and she was only given a few moments outside of that to shine. Unfortunately, she just wasn't a talent that the company ever placed much of a focal point on.

6 Kharma

Kharma-wwe

Kharma was around during the divas era, and she could have made a huge impact due to the talent that she had inside the ring. WWE had huge plans for her, with Kharma being one of the biggest names in the industry at that time due to her work in TNA.

Unfortunately, Kharma never ended up being relevant in WWE due to situations outside of the ring in her personal life. It meant that she never ended up having a proper rivalry throughout her time under contract, with this being a big case of what could have happened in other circumstances.

5 Maxine

Maxine

Maxine was someone that got involved with WWE during the game show version of NXT, and that is where she made all of her impact while working for the company. However, she never ended up truly feeling relevant in the company as WWE didn't book her in any important storylines.

She was not someone that the company truly capitalized on or looked to make a top star. Instead, Maxine was around for a brief period and failed to become a relevant name on the roster which is why she was ultimately let go.

4 Amy Weber

Amy Weber WWE

Amy Weber was one of the Divas Search winners, and because of that the company attempted to make her relevant, but that isn't something that translated to reality. She was placed into JBL's Cabinet faction as his personal assistant, but when people think back to that group she is not someone that fans think of.

Issues behind the scenes led to her run with the company being cut short, and that is why Weber didn't end up becoming a relevant part of the product. There was simply not enough time for her to make that type of impact on the product, despite her efforts.

3 Joy Giovanni

Joy Giovanni

Joy Giovanni is another wrestler that came from the Divas Search concept, but she didn't last long at all during her time with the company. She's a forgotten diva from WWE's history, because he wasn't utilized a lot to feel relevant to the crowd outside of a brief stint as Big Show's girlfriend.

Giovanni didn't stick around long in the company, and that is a big reason why she never ended up feeling overly relevant, as the company didn't have enough time to do something with her.

2 Ariel

Ariel & Kevin Thorn Cropped

During her time in WWE Ariel worked alongside Kevin Thorn, which was a character the company was seemingly confident about at that time. However, while the creative department might have put effort into making this pairing look creepy, the reality was that they didn't get over.

Ariel's tarot-reading character is one that didn't last for a long time, and she was never a relevant character overall. The ECW brand was one that often struggled to make its mark overall, and that is why Ariel was a gimmick people have since forgotten about.

1 Rosa Mendes

Rosa Mendes

Rosa Mendes was around in WWE for a long time, yet she never managed to carve out a meaningful storyline throughout that period. She was typically used as a valet or manager for other wrestlers, normally tag teams, but even the acts she worked with weren't particularly important parts of the product.

Because of that, Mendes never felt truly relevant as the company just didn't have the storyline opportunities to do so. She wasn't often put into the ring outside of multi-women matches or tag team bouts, with her singles career being a forgettable one.
