DX WCW Invasion

The biggest moment that most people mention first when looking back at D-Generation X was the infamous invasion of WCW. Triple H led the faction on a tank outside of WCW’s Nitro venue earlier that day making fun of the opposing company.

Cameras even showed WCW shutting the entrance door for vehicles when they tried to enter the area. DX was already shifting to the face role, but this ended any chance of fans still booing them due to their heel moments.

The only negative to the fake D-Generation X reunion tease leading to Triple H feuding with Shawn Michaels for over two years was realizing how much people wanted the reunion. Triple H never teamed up with Michaels after becoming a top star since Michaels retired before that happened.

WWE fans finally got their wishes granted when Triple H and Michaels reformed DX in 2006 to feud with Vince McMahon. Michaels returning from an injury to help Triple H against McMahon’s Spirit Squad henchmen led to a massive pop when they embraced for this moment.
