WWE Hall of Famer Edge is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. The Rated-R Superstar's record speaks for itself as he is an 11-time World Champion, and he is a Grand Slam Champion. Moreover, Edge has found success at the Royal Rumble with two Royal Rumble match victories to his name. Nevertheless, Edge was already a certified main eventer when he won the Rumble twice in 2010 and 2021 ironically on the same date on January 31st. It didn't matter too much that he failed to win his World Title bouts at WrestleMania. Ultimately, not all of Edge's appearances in the Rumble were memorable with some underwhelming affairs, but he has generally done well at the Rumble with some high-caliber performances.

8 1999

Edge Royal Rumble 1999

The 1999 Royal Rumble match was Edge's first taste of the Royal Rumble match. Despite being a popular member of the Brood, Edge wasn't involved in the conversation to win the Royal Rumble. Nevertheless, Edge entered fifth, and he immediately turned his attention towards Gillberg, who was the reigning Light Heavyweight Champion.

It wasn't the shortest stay in a Royal Rumble match but it was one of the shortest as Gillberg only lasted six seconds all thanks to Edge. Ultimately, Edge was involved in the action in the early portion of the Rumble but Road Dogg removed him from the equation with a respectable 12 minutes in the bank for Edge.

7 2000

A year later, Edge drew a better number in the 2000 Royal Rumble match as he joined the fray as the 13th participant. Edge was involved in the thick of things, and he assisted five other men by throwing Rikishi over the top rope, who had aspirations of winning the Rumble with a superb performance in the first part of the Rumble.

Edge only registered one elimination but he lasted a little longer at 15 minutes. European Champion Val Venis and Al Snow put their differences aside, and they worked together to end Edge's chances of winning the Royal Rumble.

6 2003

Edge competed in the Royal Rumble match in 2003 for the first time in three years as he participated in a couple of title matches, the two prior editions. Edge was the fifth entrant just like he was in 1999, and he worked well with his former WWE Tag Team Championship-winning partner Rey Mysterio.

It was almost a flawless performance from Edge but Christopher Nowinski's career suffered as he was sustained a concussion after Edge and Mysterio botched a double dropkick from the top rope. Moreover, Edge added to his elimination tally with Chavo Guerrero, Bill Demott, and B-2 falling by the wayside. Ultimately, fellow Canadian Chris Jericho eliminated both Edge and Christian who were battling on the ropes.

5 2010

The 2010 Royal Rumble match saw Edge return ahead of schedule as he tore his Achilles in the summer of 2009. The crowd went ballistic when they heard Edge's theme song play through the speakers, and he marked his return to action as the 29th entrant.

Edge shifted his attention towards his former tag team partner Chris Jericho, and he eliminated him. It wasn't a vintage performance from Edge as he needed just seven minutes to win the Royal Rumble match for the first time with his old foe John Cena getting thrown over the top rope by him.

4 2020

2020 Royal Rumble Match Cropped

Edge has a knack for making surprise returns at the Royal Rumble but his return in the men's 2020 Royal Rumble match a decade later was unreal. The WWE Hall of Famer was visibly emotional and fans were losing their mind as they were in awe of what they were witnessing.

The Rated-R Superstar joined the fray as the 21st entrant. Of course, Edge would have liked to have won the Rumble but it wasn't about winning the match for him at that point in his comeback. He had an outstanding performance as he eliminated AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Randy Orton. Edge reached the final four and he endured 23 minutes which isn't too bad for someone who hadn't wrestled for nine years. Roman Reigns eliminated Edge which drew boos that reverberated around the arena.

3 2005

Edge was full of confidence heading into the 2005 Royal Rumble match as he earned a noteworthy victory over Shawn Michaels in the opening match of the night. However, Edge displayed one of his finest Rumbles to date as he was the seventh entrant and he endured 40 minutes.

The Rated-R Superstar was obsessed with becoming World Champion and it seemed plausible with the showing that he had. Edge eliminated Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Shelton Benjamin, and Ric Flair. He was a part of the group of wrestlers that sent Muhammad Hassan packing in a group elimination. Ultimately, Edge secured a final four berth for the first time but his quest of main eventing WrestleMania 21 was halted by eventual winner Batista and John Cena.

2 2007

Edge entered a Royal Rumble match as the fifth entrant for the third time in nine years in 2007, and it was another exceptional performance from the Rated-R Superstar. Edge and Randy Orton were the reigning World Tag Team Champions and Rated-RKO worked as a cohesive unit throughout.

Ric Flair, Kenny Dykstra, Jeff Hardy, Super Crazy were eliminated by Edge. As was Viscera although the Ultimate Opportunist collaborated with seven others to remove the big man. Nevertheless, Edge was in the final four once more, and he was going to execute the con-chair-to on Undertaker but Shawn Michaels intervened, and he eliminated both members of Rated-RKO with Edge enduring a long 44 minutes.

1 2021

If Edge was going to win the Royal Rumble match for the second time in his career, he had to do it the hard way as he entered the 2021 men's Royal Rumble match as the number one entrant. The Rated-R Superstar kicked off proceedings with his rival Randy Orton.

Edge stole the show in the 2021 Royal Rumble match, and he had a heartfelt reunion with his best friend Christian. He eliminated Braun Strowman with a helping hand from Christian and Seth Rollins. The Architect felt the wrath of Edge who adverted the Stomp and tossed him over the top rope. Orton slithered his way back in and planted Edge with an RKO but Edge lastly eliminated Orton to win the Royal Rumble match for the second time.
