Bayley has been around for quite some time now in WWE over the past decade after signing in 2012. The progression of Bayley showed each step of someone succeeding in the current WWE landscape. Bayley improved by training at the Performance Center and broke out as a major star for the women’s wrestling movement in NXT.

The main roster call-up saw Bayley struggling with her face character from NXT having more flaws emerging. Bayley turning heel allowed more creative freedom during her record-setting Smackdown Women’s Championship reign. Quite a few names mixed it up with her in each stage of WWE. Every major Bayley feud will be ranked to see which stands out the best.

10 Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans Bayley

WWE has always viewed Lacey Evans as having strong potential after debuting her on the main roster. Bayley turning heel and aligning with Sasha Banks saw them taking aim at the rest of the women’s division on Smackdown.

Evans stood up against them after she received some blame for Smackdown’s loss in a women’s elimination match at Survivor Series 2019. Bayley defeated Lacey at the 2020 Royal Rumble event to end the feud that had little depth and is barely remembered today.

9 Ember Moon

Bayley v Ember Moon SummerSlam 2019 Cropped

Another forgotten feud of Bayley featured the talented Ember Moon getting a rare title program on the main roster. Ember thrived in NXT as a great face for the women’s division, but she didn’t get the same opportunity on Raw or Smackdown.

It felt out of left field when Moon became the top challenger to Bayley’s Smackdown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2019. Despite having a big spot on the second biggest PPV of the year, this felt less important and never gained much steam.

8 Nia Jax

Bayley Nia Jax

The NXT tenure of Bayley is still regarded as a great time in her career when the face character connected with the audience. Nia Jax debuted for the developmental brand around the same time of Bayley winning the NXT Women’s Championship and WWE had high hopes for her that never panned out.

The overall feud didn’t work much since Jax was limited and new to wrestling. However, Bayley carried Nia to a solid match at NXT TakeOver: London to show her versatility and ability to make every story work during the magical NXT run

7 Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss Attacks Bayley

WWE pushed Alexa Bliss hard during her first few years on the main roster always holding gold. Bliss moving from Smackdown to Raw in 2017 brand split draft led to her entering a feud with Raw Women’s Champion Bayley.

This program was polarizing with many fans believing that WWE buried Bayley here. Bliss got the better of Bayley multiple times to win the title and the feud. However, Bayley doing her best to ensure someone else got over stayed true to her identity in wrestling.

6 The Riott Squad

Riott Squad Bayley

WWE never pushed the Riott Squad as a top act when they showed potential as a heel team. Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan often targeted Bayley when playing glorified bullies. Sasha Banks mending fences with Bayley helped her even the odds, but they were still at a disadvantage.

Locker room veteran joined Bayley and Banks to take down the Riott Squad at the all-women Evolution PPV. Bayley standing up to heel character that showed a bullying side was where her underdog face gimmick stood out the most.

5 Charlotte Flair

Charlotte and Bayley

There were multiple chapters to the Charlotte Flair vs Bayley feud from NXT to the main roster. Charlotte turning heel on Bayley led to her joining Summer Rae and Sasha Banks in the BFF heel faction trying to take over the women’s division.

Bayley had some strong performances playing the underdog face character against the new top heel in mostly losing efforts. The main roster call-up led to another feud with a bigger audience. Bayley won the Raw Women’s Championship from Charlotte just a few months after her debut.

4 Emma

Bayley v Emma NXT May 27, 2015 Cropped

WWE had struggles with finding the right role for Emma on the main roster. Emma initially got over as one of the top women in NXT’s original women’s division feuding with Paige. A failed main roster run led to Emma coming back to NXT to revamp her character.

The “evil” Emma side ditched the dancing face gimmick that worked in the first NXT run. Emma and Dana Brooke united during a short feud with Bayley before the latter was moving into the title picture. Bayley scored another noteworthy victory over a talented name like Emma to build her momentum.

3 Asuka

Asuka Vs Bayley

The rivalry between Asuka and Bayley was based on competition rather than over the top storytelling. Their NXT stint featured Asuka shocking the world by ending Bayley’s NXT Women’s Championship reign in rather dominant fashion.

Bayley put over Asuka strong as the new top star of the NXT women’s division to make her undefeated streak more important. WWE had them feuding again with Bayley heel in recent years on the main roster with more compelling matches against each other.

2 Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair Vs. Bayley Hell In A Cell 2021

The most underrated feud of Bayley’s career came against Bianca Belair just last year. Belair was the new top female face after beating Sasha Banks to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion. Bayley worked with Bianca before and after to get the face character over.

The more obnoxious over the top heel actions of Bayley made fans want to root for Belair even stronger. Various Smackdown segments showed new sides to Bianca to round her character out. A tremendous Hell in a Cell match saw Bayley putting over Belair flawlessly.

1 Sasha Banks

Bayley Vs Sasha Banks NXT

The most obvious choice for Bayley’s best rival is the right one when looking at her history with Sasha Banks. NXT witnessed them taking the brand to new levels with a couple of matches and outstanding overall storytelling of Bayley dethroning Banks.

Their main roster tenure featured a love/hate relationship of best friends butting heads quite often. Bayley ended up having the bigger betrayal turning on Sasha when they were both heels. The Hell in a Cell match with Banks beating Bayley become Smackdown Women’s Champion was a masterpiece to culminate the feud.
