Owen Hart was destined for great things in his wrestling career, but unfortunately, his life was tragically cut short at 34 in May 1999. The King of Harts was one of the top competitors in the New Generation Era and he maximized his potential. He scored one of the biggest upsets in the history of WrestleMania when he battled past his brother Bret in the curtain-raiser at WrestleMania 10.

Hart had a fantastic WWE career as he won the Intercontinental Championship twice, the European Championship, and the WWE World Tag Team Championship four times with three different partners. Hart also won the 1994 King of the Ring. Nevertheless, Hart formed some exceptional tag teams throughout his WWE career and was a big-time player in some stables whether it worked out or not.

9 High Energy

In the early stages of his WWE career, Owen Hart formed a tag team with Koko B.Ware called High Energy. Their theme song was good which Hart continued to use after their partnership dissolved. Hart and Koko B. Ware never won the WWE World Tag Team Championship, and this was seen as a low moment in Hart's career.

High Energy lasted a year from 1992 until 1993. They only competed in one match on a WWE pay-per-view, which was a losing effort to the Headshrinkers at Survivor Series 1992.

8 The New Foundation

Owen Hart and his brother-in-law Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart formed a rehashed version of the Hart Foundation called the New Foundation. The team was formed when Hart returned to WWE in 1991. During this frame, Hart earned the moniker "The Rocket."

They were never going to recreate the magic that Bret and Anvil had together in the mid-80s and early 90s. The

New Foundation had a lone pay-per-view match as a tandem and that was against the Orient Express at the 1992 Royal Rumble. Neidhart departed in 1992 and returned two years later in 1994. Hart and Neidhart teamed frequently in the latter half of 1994 and they feuded with Bret, and their brother-in-law The British Bulldog.

7 The Nation Of Domination

Owen Hart turned heel once in 1998 after he betrayed Ken Shamrock. He joined the Nation, and his new catchphrase was "Enough is enough, and it's time for a change." The Rock made changes to the group with Kama repackaged as The Godfather, D'Lo Brown, and Mark Henry completed the lineup.

Hart's involvement in the Nation raised eyebrows considering the faction solely featured black wrestlers, and Hart was a caucasian male. Nevertheless, Hart was involved in the Nation's feud with D-Generation X, but he quietly left the Nation as he restarted his feud with Shamrock.

6 Camp Cornette

At WrestleMania 11, Owen Hart and Yokozuna defeated the Smokin' Gunns for the WWE World Tag Team Championship. James Cornette was their manager, and they grew in strength and numbers when Hart's brother-in-law The Britsh Bulldog joined the group in August 1995.

Vader joined Camp Cornette at the start of 1996 but there was dissension between Vader and Yokozuna which led to Yokozuna leaving the group and turning face. Camp Cornette had success as the trio of Vader, Hart, and Bulldog won a six-man tag team at WrestleMania 12. They also saw off Shawn Michaels, Ahmed Johnson, and Sycho Sid at In Your House: International Incident. Hart was a member of Camp Cornette for well over a year, but Clarence Mason bought his and Bulldog's contract from Cornette to become their new manager.

5 Tag Team With Jeff Jarrett

In early 1999, Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett began teaming up together. They were good friends in real life, and their chemistry on-screen was fantastic. Debra was their valet as she was Double J's manager. They defeated the Corporation's Ken Shamrock and Big Boss Man on the Raw after the 1999 Royal Rumble for the WWE World Tag Team Championship.

Hart and Jarrett held the gold for just under three months, and they did a good job as champions. They successfully defended the titles at St. Valentine's Day Massacre, and a month later at WrestleMania 15. X-Pac and Kane ended their reign on the April 5, 1999 episode of Raw.

4 Tag Team With Yokozuna

As aforementioned, Yokozuna was Owen Hart's surprise partner at WrestleMania 11 when they challenged the Smokin' Gunns for the WWE World Tag Team Championship. They prevailed which was the first time that both men had held the Tag Team Championship gold in WWE.

Two-time WWE Champion Yokozuna was far from his best as he had put on some weight. They worked as a cohesive unit with the King of Harts wrestling the majority of their matches. Jim Cornette was their manager, and they held the WWE World Tag Team Championship twice.

3 Tag Team With Bret Hart

Bret Hart & Owen Hart Cropped

Owen Hart and his older brother Bret briefly teamed up together in late 1993 and early 1994. Of course, brothers have good chemistry together so it was no surprise to see Owen and Bret working like a well-oiled machine.

One of their biggest matches together occurred at the 1994 Royal Rumble when they challenged the Quebecers for the WWE World Tag Team Championship. This was an underrated championship match, but it is fondly remembered for Owen betraying his brother which began their rivalry that dominated 1994.

2 The Hart Foundation

Bret Hart got the gang back together again after his heel turn at WrestleMania 13. The Hart Foundation was brought back but this time as a stable. Owen Hart, his brothers-in-laws The British Bulldog and Jim Neidhart, Bret Hart, and Brian Pillman were the five that were together on the same page.

This was one of the best factions in WWE history, and they had a stranglehold on several championships. Hart and Bulldog were the reigning WWE World Tag Team Champions, and Hart was a double champion as he held the Intercontinental Championship. The best moment for the Hart Foundation was Canadian: Stampede in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, when they received a deafening ovation from their hometown fans.

1 Tag Team With British Bulldog

Unquestionably, Owen Hart's best partnership was with his brother-in-law The British Bulldog. They were both members of Camp Cornette, but they were under the tutelage of Clarence Mason when he took over managerial duties from Jim Cornette.

Owen Hart and The British Bulldog wasted no time in winning the WWE World Tag Team Championship from the Smokin' Gunns in September 1996. They went on to have a long run with the titles for 246 days with the makeshift team of Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels bringing the curtain down on their title reign. Moreover, they were both double champions briefly as Hart held the Intercontinental Champion, and Bulldog was the reigning European Champion.
