Triple H has been heavily praised for his ability to book talent over the years, whether that be bringing up younger wrestlers in NXT or more recently his work on the main roster. The Game has a brain for the wrestling business, and that is something that leads to a lot of detail being put into the storylines he creates.

However, while he has done a great job with many wrestlers, it is clear that there are certain styles and types of wrestling he isn't a big fan of. That has led to certain talents struggling to get pushed, and that would likely have been the case if he'd worked with a lot of other wrestlers over the years as well, even if they were bigger stars under Vince McMahon.

10 Goldberg

Something that has been clear throughout Triple H's time booking wrestling is that he enjoys the bell-to-bell action of the business. He pushed NXT to be similar to an independent promotion with lengthy matches, and that's something that he has continued with during his run on the main roster.

Because of that, there's a good chance Goldberg would be someone that might struggle under his leadership. While there's no denying the star power he created, that was because WCW was willing to overlook what he lacked inside the ring to build an undefeated streak, which he might not do.

9 Santino Marella

Santino Marella was somebody that had good in-ring skills, but he was rarely allowed to showcase that throughout his time in WWE. Instead, it was all about his ability to entertain people through comedy, and there have been few people better at that over the years than him.

He put together an incredible career during his run in the business, but if he was around now it is unlikely that Triple H would push him in the same manner. Comedy hasn't been a big thing for him on the main roster, and because of that, Marella may not be shown in the same manner.

8 Kelly Kelly

During the time when Kelly Kelly was around in WWE, the focus wasn't on the in-ring work for the women, as it simply wasn't a priority. While there were many who could put on great matches, it was more important to entertain the fans and look a certain way.

That is how Kelly Kelly ended up being one of the top stars of the divas era. While she made some huge strides to improve over those years, if she was around in WWE right now there's a good chance that Triple H wouldn't be interested in pushing to the level she was in the past.

7 Val Venis

Val Venis in a towel

Val Venis was a character that a lot of people enjoyed during the 1990s, but it is not something that would work today due to the PG environment that WWE now operates in. His gimmick was quite an over-the-top one anyway, and it was something that didn't have tons of legs to be taken in a long-term direction.

Triple H likes to push wrestlers with plans over a period of time, which is something Venis wouldn't be able to provide. The gimmick itself was a limited one because of that, Triple H would unlikely be featuring him if he was around right now.

6 The Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior was a major name during his time in the business, and he brought a lot of star power to the ring whenever he appeared. He was larger than life, and during his run that is something that worked perfectly during that era, but nowadays that wouldn't work.

This type of character is one that fans simply wouldn't get onboard with nowadays as it would be seen as too silly and cartoonish. That's not what WWE goes for anymore, especially Triple H who focuses on more realistic characters.

5 Vladimir Kozlov

Vladimir Kozlov is someone that Triple H worked with several times over the years when the company first started pushing him as a monster heel. However, if he was around today the Game would unlikely use him in the same way, mainly because Kozlov was limited inside the ring.

He might have provided some hard-hitting moments at times against his opponents, but the matches were never all that exciting. Triple H is unlikely to push someone as a top star if they can't provide high quality main event matches.

4 Sandman

The Sandman ECW

Sandman was best known for his work in ECW, and while he was a good storyteller the main focus for him was competing at an extreme level with lots of hardcore wrestling. While it helped to get him over massively at that time, it's not something that would work today in the current WWE environment.

Seeing him smash beers and wield kendo sticks isn't the type of idea that works nowadays because that type of wrestling doesn't get shown a lot in WWE. It's rare that hardcore wrestling is pushed, therefore it would be a lot harder for Sandman to get over with the crowd.

3 Rosa Mendes

In the past there were plenty of female wrestlers that were hired primarily to be valets, standing at ringside to help put over the matches that their talent were involved in. While Rosa Mendes did compete inside the ring at times, she didn't get many opportunities as Mendes wasn't quite at the same level as others at that time.

She primarily worked alongside other tag teams, and while Triple H does still use managers, the majority that he pushes also compete at a high level inside the ring. The likes of B-Fab and Zelina Vega can put on competitive matches as well, but he wouldn't put Mendes into that role.

2 Eugene

Eugene WWE

Eugene was a wrestler that Triple H enjoyed a feud with throughout his career, but the character was a controversial one that simply wouldn't work today. It would lead to a lot of problems and bad PR for the company, which is something that Triple H is keen to avoid right now.

He wants people to bring positivity to WWE right now to grow the company after the recent ordeals due to Vince McMahon. Eugene's character nowadays wouldn't provide that, which is why Triple H would unlikely push him a lot.

1 Eva Marie

Eva Marie

Eva Marie was pushed a lot during Vince McMahon's run as he saw the star power potential in her, but she wasn't able to bring a lot of in-ring qualities to the business. Inside the ring she struggled to keep up with the rest ofthe women at the time, and she wasn't that strong on the microphone either.

Triple H only brings people who are capable of putting together good matches, and that is not a role that Marie could fulfill, and that is why he wouldn't bring her in or push her at the moment.
