Obviously, the most valuable WWE wrestlers are the ones who get the most screen time, these are popularly called main eventers. Wrestlers in this category would be stars like Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, and even Charlotte Flair. Not to mention the part-timers, of course.

However, every company needs mid-card talent. These mid-carders are not necessarily less talented than the top Superstars, they just don't get as many opportunities and aren't pushed to the top. On the current WWE roster, there are many mid-carders, some seem destined for the main event, but others simply belong in the mid-card and will probably stay there.

10 Destined For The Main Event: Riddle

WWE Riddle

Riddle has everything it takes to be a main eventer, he is extremely talented in the ring, knows how to develop his character and is a very charismatic guy.

Since he has been on the main roster, Riddle has not failed to impress the fans. He not only plays his role of the stupidly hilarious bro very well, but when he has to wrestle, he always delivers an entertaining match. As soon as next year, Riddle could be a WWE main eventer.

9 No Chance: Elias

WWE Elias

Whether you liked Elias' musical gimmick or not, it's gone. Elias is going through a character change and it's not yet known where that will take him, but one thing is for sure, it won't take him to the main event.

Elias has always been a mid-carder and seemingly always will be. He's an average wrestler, with a limited arsenal of moves and isn't very good in terms of storytelling. At least he can play a heel pretty well and is relatively young for this business (33 years old).

8 Destined For The Main Event: Montez Ford

Montez Ford

Montez Ford is a superlative talent, his high-flying skills are insane and his technique is very good. Ford always puts on a great show. Plus, his mic work is excellent and charisma runs through his veins.

Tag team action already falls short for Montez Ford, he makes a great team with Angelo Dawkins, but maybe it's time to see him as a singles star. Ford is destined for the main event, as long as WWE booking doesn't ruin his future.

7 No Chance: Xavier Woods

Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods

Kofi Kingston and Big E managed to become WWE Champions, so the only member of The New Day that hasn't received a singles world title is Xavier Woods, will it be possible?

In sports entertainment, nothing is impossible. But frankly, it seems difficult for Xavier Woods to become world champion, let alone a main eventer. Woods is a great tag team wrestler, very skilled, that's for sure, but he's not that kind of outstanding wrestler that people pay to see.

6 Destined For The Main Event: Omos

WWE Omos

Omos is 27 years old and stands at 7' 3", so it's safe to say he has a huge future. Throughout history, WWE has treated several giants as top Superstars, such as Andre The Giant, Kane, The Great Khali, The Big Show or Braun Strowman, and it's very likely that sooner or later Omos will be treated the same way.

Omos' in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37 was great, he showed his brute strength to destroy The New Day and become Raw Tag Team Champion alongside AJ Styles. Eventually, Omos should have his run as singles star, as he is destined for the main event.

5 No Chance: Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali

It's not that Mustafa Ali isn't talented, on the contrary, he's a great wrestler, with very good high-flying skills. However, WWE has never given him a prolonged push and doesn't see him as a top wrestler. That said, at 35 years of age, it is very unlikely that the situation will change.

There's always the saying of 'never say never,' because you never know what the future holds. But frankly, Mustafa Ali seems to have no chance of becoming a main eventer in WWE.

4 Destined For The Main Event: Keith Lee

Keith Lee

If WWE doesn't give Keith Lee a big push soon then they would be wasting a very special talent. Keith Lee is main eventer material, no doubt about it.

His in-ring skills are extraordinary, he is big and strong, but he is also quite fast and agile considering his size, which makes him a very interesting powerhouse wrestler, capable of delivering riveting matches. Unfortunately, the former NXT Champion has not had much screen time recently, in fact, Lee has only participated in seven televised matches this year.

3 No Chance: Apollo Crews

Apollo Crews

In his six years working for WWE, Apollo Crews has proven that he is a solid worker, who usually plays his role very well. Overall, Apollo is very talented and doesn't get the credit he deserves.

However, Apollo is not a main eventer, and is unlikely to be one. WWE took a long time to give him a good push, and when they finally did, Apollo disappointed a bit. He had lackluster reigns with the United States Title and the Intercontinental Title and his matches were no big deal either.

2 Destined For The Main Event: Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley Raw Women's Champion

If there is a woman who can follow in the footsteps of Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair or Bianca Belair, it is Rhea Ripley. The Nightmare is extremely talented, but best of all, she can still improve a lot, as she is only 24 years old.

She is an all-rounder, the kind of female wrestler you don't see often, she is strong and athletic and can deliver both technical and hard-hitting matches. Her mic skills are not the best, but it's nothing that can't be corrected. Rhea Ripley will be a main eventer, hands down.

1 No Chance: Otis

Otis On Smackdown

Otis had a chance to make it to the main event when he won the Money In The Bank briefcase in 2020, but for some reason WWE decided to change plans, and Otis dropped the briefcase to The Miz.

That made it clear that WWE doesn't see Otis as a top Superstar, which may be true, as Otis is an ordinary wrestler. That said, it's hard to see things changing, and Otis will likely stay on the mid-card.
