Karrion Kross has been pushed heavily so far since joining WWE, but while he's a great star, without Scarlett Bordeaux by his side, the character simply isn't the same.
The Importance Of Scarlett Bordeaux
When Karrion Kross was first presented to the WWE Universe, he was showcased alongside Scarlett Bordeaux, who has been a big part of Kross' career for a while now, prior to them joining WWE.
They are a real-life couple and because of that, the chemistry that they have is magic and doesn't have to be forced. The two of them don't put things together in a forced manner like other couples who are showcased, and that makes them a lot of fun to watch.
She is a major part of all of Kross' storylines so far, and her reactions to everything that he does, whether good or bad are a massive part of his career. Seeing how Scarlett responds on the outside is on the same level as what Paul Heyman can provide during a match, with facial expressions being vital.
However, she also cuts incredible promos and pushes all of Kross' work forward. There's a reason she has been a vital part of everything he has done so far, and that's the importance that she has, which WWE clearly sees.
Scarlett Is Karrion Kross' Strength & Weakness
One of the great reasons that Scarlett is crucial to what Karrion Kross does is that she adds both strength and weakness to him. That's something that very few managers/valets can provide, but she does it perfectly.
Scarlett is afraid of nothing. She will stand up to any of Kariron's opponents and get in their face, letting them know exactly what she thinks as she controls the narrative of his career, taking him to new heights each and every time.
She's not the type of manager that will be causing cheap tricks on the outside to help her man get the victory, as Scarlett trusts the strength and power that Kross has is enough. This empowers him, but at the same time, he feeds that energy right back to her by Scarlett being the one that sets his feuds up in the first place.
She often places the hourglass down to get in the minds of others, and this is something that allows Scarlett to be taken seriously by everybody.
However, the beauty of her character is that she is also Karrion's weakness. He wants to protect her at all costs and any danger towards her distracts Kross and sets the fear within him.
That was made clear during his storyline with Finn Balor, and the ability for her to be the ying and yang to Kross' character all in one helps to make her crucial to everything that he does.
WWE Needs Karrion Kross & Scarlett Together
Right now there are rumors circulating that Karrion Kross could be heading to the main roster in the near future. With WWE looking to invest in Kross as a mainstay talent that can make it on the biggest stage possible, there's a good chance that he could be destined for life outside of the black and gold brand.
He even had a test appearance on a recent episode of Main Event, with management clearer wanting to take a closer look at the two-time NXT Champion. However, he was interestingly brought up on his own.
Scarlett wasn't by his side and it did make a big difference to his presentation. Rather than being a mysterious and exciting prospect, Kross didn't feel quite as special. It clearly proved how much of an impact she has on his presentation, and that is just the entrance alone.
Without taking into account everything she brings in terms of his storylines, it would be a major mistake for her to be left behind. Of course, Kross would likely have to drop the NXT Championship first, but bringing him to the main roster without Scarlett would just be less exciting.
She is the crucial element to making the NXT Champion tick, in helping to draw attention to him immediately, and seeing her arrive, screaming the entrance she sang would be an epic way to introduce him.
All of that without mentioning the fact that Scarlett can be a great asset inside the ring as well if WWE ever wanted, it is clear that she's a crucial element to him.
