Mandy Rose's appearance on NXT this week wasn't a one-off. She is no longer a member of the Raw roster and will be an NXT Superstar moving forward.

Even though NXT feels more separate from Raw and SmackDown than ever before, talent moving between the brands reminds fans it is still a branch of WWE. A far more equal branch than in the past as has been demonstrated by the moves between brands. NXT is no longer a roster for Vince McMahon to cherry-pick Superstars from. There has to be a back and forth.

Mandy Rose Returns To NXT

That dynamic was on show yet again this past Tuesday when Mandy Rose showed up on NXT. Rose first appeared at the top of the ramp during a match between Sarray and Gigi Dolin. The now-former Raw Superstar appeared to be scouting the pair. That seems to have been confirmed via an appearance in a later segment.

Considering the way Rose was tying herself to multiple angles and Superstars on NXT this week, it was assumed that this wasn't going to be a one-time thing. That belief has now been confirmed by PWInsider. The site has been told Rose is now once again a part of the NXT brand and will no longer make appearances on Raw.

What About Dana Brooke?

That raises questions regarding the future of Dana Brooke. Brooke and Rose have been teaming together for the past ten months, appearing on almost every episode of Raw in some form or fashion during that time. Since Brooke was nowhere in sight on NXT this week, and Rose appears to be assuming the role of a manager or talent scout of some sort, their run as a team has almost certainly come to an end.

It has been almost four years since Rose left NXT and made her move on over to the main roster. Rose never held the NXT Women's Title. In fact, she is still yet to win gold in any form under the WWE banner. If the role she seems to have been given continues on NXT, that won't be changing any time soon. She could find herself tied to a Champion or Tag Team Champion relatively soon, though.
