The new logo and theme music for the upcoming revamped version of NXT have seemingly been revealed by rapper/part-time WWE broadcaster, Wale.

Wale took to social media to share a teaser video that featured a quick glimpse of what looks to be the brand's new logo. “Keep it true to self!” Wale captioned the video, which was accompanied by a new song of his own that could be the new NXT theme song.

The same video aired during this week's edition of SmackDown on Fox.

In case you missed it, WWE's president Nick Khan did recently confirm that an NXT revamp was imminent.

"We're doing a complete revamp on NXT, led by Triple H, who is really one of the architects of the original NXT," Khan said during a recent interview with BT Sport's Ariel Helwani.

"In terms of an NXT rebrand, look for it. In the next couple of weeks, it's going to have a whole new look, a whole new feel, and we believe because a lot of the 'Indie wrestlers,' if you will, have come through our system and are in our system with SmackDown and Raw, we don't want to just keep doing that same thing," he continued. "We want to look elsewhere for great young talent."

NXT has had pretty much the same branding since it launched in 2012. There have been a few slight tweaks along the way, but for the most part, it's been the same black and gold aesthetic with the same fonts etc.

Some fans on social media have pointed out that the colorful paint aesthetic of the new branding bears a slight resemblance to AEW's color-splash branding.

It's the end of an era, and while it's certainly worth mourning the black and gold years, we're excited to see what NXT looks like after its relaunch.
