Monday's episode of Raw was labeled the season premiere and there was a lot to look forward to. Following up from a substantial Extreme Rules, this show included a stacked card, the 25th Anniversary celebration for DX, and more from footage of Bray Wyatt's return. There were unexpected returns, a tease for a couple of big moments for next week, and a title change that makes a lot of sense from a booking standpoint.

Here are your winners and losers from Raw, on October 10, 2022:

Winner: Opening Bloodline Segment

After a backstage segment with DX, The Bloodline got things started and the crowd was hot for the group, especially the very over Sami Zayn. Roman Reigns was about to admonish Jey Uso for being so out of control but Zayn wanted to deal with the situation, which made sense after The Head of the Table deemed Jey as Sami's problem moving forward. Zayn hilariously told Jey just to be cool and Jey wanted to know if he was being ribbed. That brought out Riddle who challenged Reigns. The Tribal Chief said no, so Riddle dared someone else to step up. Jey saw it as an opportunity to feed Zayn to the wolves. Zayn accepted.

This opening was extremely well done, even if the whole "yeet" conversation was a bit corny. Zayn is incredibly popular and he's quickly becoming the most over star in WWE.

Loser: Austin Theory

At this point, it's a good thing that Theory has the Money In the Bank briefcase since it doesn't matter what your win/loss record is with that championship ticket. Even the biggest in-ring loser -- which Theory is quickly becoming -- can cash in and become the champion. That's bound to happen down the road. We'll see how often Theory loses in the meantime. This was a good match and both men looked good, but Theory piling up the losses is starting to become noticeable. Gargano proved that the teacher might have taught the student a lot, just not everything he knows.

Winner: Dom Embarrassing Rey Mysterio

Chad Gable picking up another loss isn't ideal, but that little detail was quickly forgotten when Dominik and Judgment Day targeted Rey and forced him to take a beating after refusing to strike his own son. WWE is perfectly slow-playing Don's turn to the dark side and week after week Rey has to be subjected to the group getting in Dom's head. The WWE Universe is learning to hate Dom, which is exactly what the company wants. This needed to be dragged out and it's working.

Winner: The O.C. Reunites

After Judgment Day took out Rey, they bragged about taking out Edge and Beth Phoenix. After rewatching the video footage from Extreme Rules, Finn Balor turned his attention to AJ Styles. Styles came out and said Balor was right, that he needed friends. He pretended to join Judgment Day but actually brought out his old buddies Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. All six men fought and Judgment Day scrambled.

The return of The O.C. made for a nice pop. We'll see if the decision to bring them back pays off. Their last run in WWE wasn't all that eventful.

Winner: LeRae Defeats Bayley In An Upset Win

Bayley was looking for a feel-good moment after losing to Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules. She figured she'd get a win over Candice LeRae but it didn't quite work out that way. Afterward, Damage CNTRL attacked LeRae and when Belair tried to help, she was left laying too. The match was on the shorter side compared to how contests have been booked of late, but it wasn't like things used to be in the women's division.

Bayley quickly went from the No.1 contender to losing twice in rapid succession. It's a fascinating twist and we'll see if it continues.

Winner: Brock Lesnar Returns, Rollins Wins the United States Championship

Any time Brock Lesnar returns to WWE, the segment will likely be deemed a winner simply because of his marquee status. He gets a massive pop when his music hits and this was no different. Lesnar interrupted Lashley talking about he was going to be a fighting champion and when The Beast Incarnate addressed the crowd, he started to address Lashley, only to attack him. He laid him out with two F5s and a Kimora Lock. WWE cut to a commercial asking if Lashley was still going to defend his United States Championship against Seth Rollins.

The answer was yes and Lashley was easy pickings, even for a sore Rollins. Rollins took cheap shots at Lashley's patriotism to trigger him into a match. Lashley went for a spear only to get a pedigree. He kicked out. Rollins hit a frog splash. Lashley kicked out again. Rollins missed a stomp, and Lashley hit a spear but with only one good arm, he couldn't apply The Hurt Lock. Rollins eventually landed two stomps and won the title.

Lashley called out Lesnar after the loss and dared him to show up next week.

Winner/Loser: DX 25th Anniversary Celebration

DX came out to the ring in their WCW invasion jeep and closed the show after Riddle beat Sami Zayn. It was a feel-good moment that didn't offer much beyond some nostalgia. This could have been an opportunity for WWE to use the group to put someone over, but the only one in the ring that really might have been able to take a bump was X-PAC, so perhaps it makes sense that WWE didn't go there.

Road Dogg is always a bit much but he seemed extra goofy tonight. The group often stumbled over each other but it's good to see the group after this long have a moment to likely say goodbye. It's unfortunate that Billy Gunn couldn't have been a part of the show, but his work with AEW obviously didn't make that feasible.

* Johnny Gargano defeats Austin Theory with an over-the-top-rope DDT.

* Rey Mysterio defeats Chad Gable but then I'd attacked by Judgment Day.

* Candice LeRae picks up the upset win over Bayley. Damage CNTRL then attacked LeRae and took out Bianca Belair as well.

* Omos defeated local enhancements in a handicap match.

* Lashley lost his U.S. Championship to Seth Rollins after being attacked by Brock Lesnar and being talked into fighting when he clearly wasn't in any condition to.

* Riddle drafted Sami Zayn after Jey refused to let Jimmy Uso interfere.
