WWE's resident superhero in training Nikki A.S.H. (Almost a Superhero) is the new Miss. Money In The Bank following her victory in the women's Money In The Bank ladder match at the pay-per-view of the same name.

It all went down at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday evening when the artist formerly known as Nikki Cross successfully fought off Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Natalya, Tamina, Naomi, and Zelina Vega to capture the coveted briefcase, which grants her a title shot anyplace, anytime for up to a year.

As you might recall, the Scottish Superstar recently adopted a superhero persona, which is obviously paying off.

In case you missed it, Cross debuted her new superhero gimmick on the June 21 edition of Raw. While wearing her superhero garb, Cross teamed up with Alexa Bliss and successfully defeated Shayna Bazsler and Nia Jax, earning their spots in the Money In The Bank match in the process.

On the following edition of Raw Talk, Cross said that even though she doesn't have any powers, she still feels like a superhero.

"I know I can’t fly or don’t have super strength. But the thing is when I put on this outfit, I feel like I can do anything," Cross said. "I’m gonna keep trying and keep getting back up. All anyone can ever do is believe in themselves.”

Nikki Cross began wrestling in her native Scotland in 2008. After a successful stint on the independent scene, she signed for WWE in 2016 and reported for duty at the WWE Performance Center.

Sanity faction WWE

Cross debuted on NXT television on 17 August 2016 episode of NXT under the name Nikki Glencross, but would soon be repackaged as a member of the anarchist-inspired stable Sanity along with Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young, and Sawyer Fulton.

The group soon swapped out Fulton for Nikki's real-life partner Killian Dain, and after a successful NXT stint, Sanity was moved to WWE's main roster. Sadly, the group wasn't utilized to its full potential and was eventually disbanded in April 2019 when Young was drafted to Raw in the Superstar Shake-up.

Killian Dain was released by WWE earlier this year during a wave of releases caused by budget cuts necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
