Following a successful stint as a manager and mouthpiece on the independent scene, Malcolm Bivens (aka Stokely Hathaway) signed with WWE in 2009 and reported for duty at the Performance Center in Orlando. At first, he served as the manager of Babatunde (Commander Azeez) but his client list quickly expanded to include the likes of Jermaine Haley, Rinku Singh, and Saurav Gurjar.

Malcolm Bivens Manager

The most memorable portion of Bivens' NXT tenure was his run as the manager of The Diamond Mine Stable. As you might recall, Diamond Mine debuted as a stable on the June 23 edition of NXT. The group's original lineup was Bivens, Roderick Strong, Hachiman, and Tyler Rust. Rust unceremoniously left the group when he was released from his WWE contract on August 6. Rookies Brutus and Julius Creed were added to the group on the August 31 edition of NXT. Ivy Nile joined the group sometime later. Strong is now the only original member.

Dakota Kai NXT Return

Dakota Kai signed with WW in December of 2016 following a successful stint on the indies as well as a well-received run in Japanese promotion Stardom. Kai competed in the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble match. With Raquel Gonzalez, Kai won the first-ever Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and was an inaugural NXT Women's Tag Team Champion.
