Survivor Series is a pay-per-view that no has no stakes beyond bragging rights, but it was Raw versus SmackDown one year after Raw swept the event. Could they do it again? The evening started with a grudge match between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch and closed with the WWE Champion versus the Universal Champion.

Again, Raw won the night but Roman Reigns walked away as the big winner on the night getting the pin in a hard-fought battle over Big E. It almost felt like a SmackDown win by the time the night was over.

Here are your winners and losers for Survivor Series, November 21, 2021:

Winner: Lynch vs Flair

It was started the night to set things off with a bang and the match was booked just as it was promoted: a fight between two women who legitimately hated one another. There was a lot of punching and slapping, trash-talking and sloppy moves that were supposed to suggest this was more a 'real fight' than a traditional wrestling match. For the most part, it worked well and the women got into some of their other move sets as the match progressed.

It was a back and forth contest but it was a contest where you could help but ask yourself if all of the backstage heat chatter was just Lynch and Flair working everyone. They got along just fine and no one tried to make the other look bad. They were either both extremely professional or this was all a work to suck us into their match. Either way, they got a from Point A to Point B and drew a ton of interest among the fan base.

Winner: Seth Rollins

In a match that was booked to make it look like Jeff Hardy might be able to pull off a surprising underdog win, Seth Rollins ended up coming out on top and being the sole survivor for the Raw team to win another match for the red brand.

There were low spots in the match, like Kevin Owens walking out and Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley both getting counted out. There were high spots too as Sheamus and Hardy surprisingly worked together until Sheamus was eliminated and proved some people never change. The two big winners were Hardy, who really had the live audience going and Rollins who picked up huge heel heat for beating the fan favorite.

The crowd was chanting "this is awesome" and it actually was better than these matches tend to be. Some strong back and forth ended when Rollins got the knees up during a Swanton Bomb, hit the stomp, and pulled out the win for Raw.

Loser: Vince McMahon's Appearances

Outside of one funny, but also untimely comment by Roman Reigns that McMahon's egg was worth as much as his next contract, Vince's appearance on the show was a headscratcher. Fans don't see much of Vinny Mac anymore and he decided to put himself on the show by walking around with the "real Cleopatra's Egg" that was discussed in The Rock's new movie Red Notice. Everyone on the roster cheered his arrival, Vince tried to brag to Reigns about how much the egg was really worth and the whole thing felt forced and ill-timed considering he was responsible for another huge round of budget cuts.

WWE and Vince completely failed to read the room. His stolen $100 million egg was a running storyline throughout the show. He was bringing every roster member to Raw on Monday to get to the bottom of who took it.

Winner: Omos

With 12 eliminations, Omos was absolutely dominant in the 25-Man Dual Brand Battle Royal. This bout was all about trying to make the big man look good and with the pizza and odd elimination of AJ Styles aside, this match did a decent job of selling how much of a force Omos is and will be moving forward. He threw out competitors to start the match with ease and then wound up battling four men in Cesaro, The Street Profits, and Ricochet, only to easily dispatch each man.

It's clear WWE is trying to turn Omos into the company's next big monster. He's still incredibly green and it's going to take strong in-ring workers to make him look good. We'll see how long WWE will be patient as he struggles to pull off some of the most basic of storytelling.

Winner: RK-Bro vs. The Usos

This was a match as good as anyone would have and should have expected it to be. The finish was easily the best part as Orton hit an RKO on Jimmy Uso who was going for a frog splash. Uso didn't realize Orton was the legal man in the match and got caught mid-air to eventually eat the pin.

It was another win for Raw who picked up victories in all of the main card matches. Only Nakamura had a victory to this point in the show.

Winner: Bianca Belair

While Belair is technically the big winner of the Women's Traditional Tag Match, the women's bout was an overbooked mess that tried to set the stage for Belair to battle back from insurmountable odds. That's not how it came through during the show as one by one Belair outlasted or outshined four of the five members of the SmackDown team. Some of the women showed well as Toni Storm picked up a couple of eliminations. Shotzi loses two big matches in two days.

Belair winning is not surprising. This match simply didn't do a good job of getting there.

Winner: Big E vs. Roman Reigns

This was a fantastic main event match between the brand's two respective champions. Big E is clearly a star and a worthy champion but Reigns walks away the winner with a three-count pin after a spear. Big E took a number of Superman Punches (many of which he no-sold), but it was a shot to the leg and a spear that finally gave Reigns the edge. There was no Brock Lesnar and no Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, but it didn't matter. These two closed the show with the match of the night.

This wasn't the greatest pay-per-view WWE has offered up this year. This was one of the better matches though and that saved the card.

Survivor Series Match Results:

* Damian Priest was disqualified during the kickoff show in a match versus Shinsuke Nakamura. When Rick Boogs started playing guitar after being warned not to, Priest destroyed the guitar then hit Nakamura with it.

* Lynch got the victory after Charlotte tried to cheat by grabbing the ropes during the pin. Flair was caught by the official and Lynch rolled through only to use the ropes herself to secure the pin.

* Seth Rollins was the sole survivor for the men's Raw team. He hit a stomp on Jeff Hardy to eliminate the final SmackDown competitor.

* Omos eliminated 12 competitors to win the 25-Man Battle Royal. He took out the Street Profits, Cesaro and Ricochet to end the match but The Street Profits got a laugh at his expense when they stole his Pizza Hut.

* RK-Bro defeat The Usos in a brand-vs-brand tag match. Orton caught Jimmy Uso with an RKO mid-move from the top rope for the pin.

* Bianca Belair was the only member of the Raw Women's team remaining but still managed to defeat Sasha Banks, Shotzi, Natalya and Shayna Baszler to be the sole survivor.

* Roman Reigns defeats Big E in the main event to give SmackDown its biggest win of the evening. It took a number of Superman punches and a spear to finally put the WWE Champion away.
