WWE has no intentions of staying out of Saudi Arabia this year and, per reports, are already looking into when they will take the show to the Middle East.
While Saudi PPVs are typically hosted on a Thursday, the Mat Men Podcast’s Andrew Zarian is reporting having found out the next one will air on Saturday, February 19. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed as much.
WWE has a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority that guarantees them $100 million a year as long as they hold two events in the country annually. The last WWE show to be held in Saudi Arabia was the October 21 Crown Jewel last year that saw Brock Lesnar lose to Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event.
There's speculation surrounding the second Saudi event of 2022 possibly taking place on either September 4 or a date in October as they were listed as PPV dates when the company released the schedule for the year.
