According to a report from fans who were at the event, Veer Mahaan looks to be headed back to NXT where his WWE career began. Not only that, but it appears he's being teamed up with his former partner from Indus Sher, Sanga.

The two appeared together at an NXT house show and it's significant because Veer hasn't been on Raw since August 15, 2022. He was being heavily pushed as a singles star under Vince McMahon and was given vignette after vignette for six months before finally appearing. However, under Triple H, he had one singles match and was never seen again. If he's not going to be used, it makes a lot more sense to put him back in a tag team and add another viable option to the men's tag team division, which has taken major steps in the past few weeks.

It's not known if Indus Sher will be staying on NXT or if the idea here is to quickly bring them up to the main roster. The two first teamed together in 2018 and they were seen as a hug heel threat in the NXT tag team division. For a while, they had Malcolm Bivens as a manager but they were split with Veer being called to Raw to work with Jinder Mahal. He eventually split off from that group again and was promoted heavily before finally appearing. Veer took out everyone, having a short feud with the Mysterios (Rey and Dominik).

Sanga went on to become Grayson Waller's bodyguard in NXT 2.0. That didn't last long as Sanga became a babyface.

This Is Probably For The Best

While some fans will be a bit disappointed that Sanga didn't get more of a push, having these two as a legitimate tag team is going to add a real layer to the tag team division, no matter which brand they end up on. Triple H wants a strong tag team contingent on all of his brands and he's worked hard to dramatically improve it. This will only help.
