Ruthless Aggression Era was definitely one of the exciting eras in WWE. Following the end of the Attitude Era and gradual departures of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, WWE needed to create new stars. The likes of Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Batista, and Randy Orton emerged during this time. Even the two biggest names of the women's division, Trish Stratus and Lita, flourished in this era.

The Ruthless Aggression Era commenced in 2002 and lasted till 2008 upon the start of the PG Era. WWE produced some great feuds in this era, but there were some awful ones too.

10 Dawn Marie Vs Torrie Wilson

While the women's division of the Ruthless Aggression Era produced an iconic feud between Trish Stratus and Lita, it also had a disastrous one between Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie. As both women were basically eye candy, they didn't have much to offer in the ring other than some racy segments.

Their feud got even worse when Torrie's father, Al Wilson, got involved and married Dawn Marie. Torrie's father also had a kayfabe death. They had a ridiculous 'Stepdaughter Vs Stepmother' match at the 2003 Royal Rumble.

9 Mr. America Vs Roddy Piper

Mr. America vs Roddy Piper

Hulk Hogan's Mr. America gimmick wasn't an extraordinary gimmick to remember. The short-lived gimmick had a couple of feuds, and one of them was against Roddy Piper.

The two Golden Era legends didn't need to have a rivalry in the Ruthless Aggression Era. Not only was their match at 2003 Judgement Day awful but also the feud didn't have any proper build-up.

8 Santino Marella Vs Chris Masters

Chris Masters and Santino Marella

Santino Marella had an overwhelming start to his career as he was picked from the crowd randomly and pinned Umaga to win the Intercontinental Championship with the help of Bobby Lashley. Right after winning the belt, he started a feud with Chris Masters.

Given how strongly Masters was booked earlier, it was disappointing to see him lose to Marella not once but four times. Even though Masters didn't win the gold from Santino Marella, he beat him in a Masters Lock challenge at the end.

7 Hornswoggle Vs Jamie Noble

Jamie Noble and Hornswoggle

Due to Hornswoggle's height, he had many comedic segments in his WWE career. However, he also received a surprising push at times. In fact, he won the Cruiserweight Championship once in his career.

After pinning Jamie Noble at The Great American Bash 2007, Hornswoggle began a feud with him. It was one of the worst feuds of the era because the storyline was uninteresting between two jobbers, and their matches weren't booked to be taken seriously by the fans. The rivalry ended when Hornswoggle forfeited the Cruiserweight Championship as the illegitimate son of Mr. McMahon.

6 Kane Vs Imposter Kane

Kane Vs Kane

While the Undertaker vs Undertaker feud was incredible in 1994, WWE tried to do the same thing with The Deadman's brother, Kane. But the feud between Kane and imposter Kane ended up being horrible.

Wearing Kane's signature ring attire from the late 1990s, an imposter Kane attacked him. They faced each other at the 2006 Vengeance pay-per-view, where the imposter Kane was victorious. The storyline didn't progress after Kane's doppelganger was thrown out of the arena. Also, the loss hurt Kane's momentum at that time.

5 CM Punk Vs Mike Knox

Kelly Kelly and CM Punk

One of the early WWE feuds for CM Punk was in the ECW brand. He started a feud with Mike Knox, while the latter's girlfriend Kelly Kelly was also involved in it. Knox was an envious boyfriend because Kelly Kelly started getting affectionate towards Punk. Even though the feud had the potential, the build-up was very weak.

Punk was victorious in every match of this rivalry. Kelly Kelly cheered for Punk when her boyfriend lost, but she continued the relationship after the end of this feud, which made little sense.

4 Eugene Vs Kurt Angle

Eugene Vs Kurt Angle

Following a tag team alliance with William Regal, Eugene started his singles feud with Kurt Angle. Their rivalry began with the Olympic gold medal of Kurt Angle on the line. It was probably one of Angle's worst feuds in WWE.

In their first match, Eugene picked up an upset victory over Kurt Angle, which was certainly a bad booking decision. Their rivalry ended at the 2005 SummerSlam pay-per-view, where Angle managed to get back his precious gold medal after beating Eugene. For an elite Superstar like Angle, Eugene was a total mismatch.

3 Christy Hemme Vs Carmella DeCesare

Christy Hemme and Carmella

Christy Hemme won the 2004 Divas Search competition in WWE. Right after the win, she started a rivalry with the runner-up of the competition, Carmella DeCesare. Therefore, it was the first feud for both women, which turned out to be terrible because neither of them was experienced in the ring, nor the microphone.

During the short feud, Christy and Carmella DeCesare met each other at Taboo Tuesday. However, it wasn't a normal match but a 'lingerie pillow fight' match, which Christy won.

2 Big Show Vs Akebono

Big Show vs Akebono

Japanese sumo legend Akebono had a short stint in WWE back in 2005 when he had a feud with Big Show. As a matter of fact, the rivalry between the two gigantic men led to a sumo match on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Big Show was still in his prime, and it wasn't a good feud for him, as he lost the infamous sumo match within a minute. The whole feud was boring and lacked meaningful storytelling.

1 Miss Jackie & Stacy Keibler Vs Sable & Torrie Wilson

Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie at WM 20

Back in the Ruthless Aggression Era, being featured in Playboy magazine was considered to be a big achievement for women. As Torrie Wilson and Sable graced the cover of Playboy, WWE created one of the worst feuds of that era based on this storyline.

Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie got envious of Sable and Torrie Wilson's success as Playboy cover girls, which provoked a match at WrestleMania XX. While Sable and Torrie were winners, the Playboy Evening Gown Match was certainly one of the worst matches in WrestleMania history.
