Their match lived up to the hype, and it was a superb outing for both men. Riddle made life difficult for Rollins but Rollins scored his first singles win by pinfall on a premium live event since Hell in a Cell 2021 after he executed a top rope Stomp.

Seth Rollins was looking to recapture the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar in the main event of SummerSlam 2019. The Architect had good chemistry with Lesnar, and this was a remarkable championship match.

Lesnar dominated the match as expected, but Rollins was not going to be denied. He ended the Beast Incarnate's championship run once more with a Stomp to become a two-time Universal Champion.

It's a shame that Drew McIntyre's maiden WWE Championship reign took place behind closed doors because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, one of his best title defenses came against Seth Rollins in the Performance Center at Money in the Bank 2020.

Rollins and McIntyre produced a fantastic wrestling match, and Rollins was looking to put the Scottish Psychopath away with the Stomp. McIntyre kicked out, and he retained his championship with a Claymore Kick.

8 Seth Rollins Vs. The Miz - Backlash 2018 (4.25 Stars)

Backlash 2018 was a dreadful premium live event, but Seth Rollins and The Miz's Intercontinental Championship match that kickstarted the show was the best thing about the card. There's no surprise that these two knocked it out of the park with Miz looking to take the Intercontinental Title over to SmackDown.

The trilogy of matches between Seth Rollins and Edge in 2021 was nothing short of extraordinary. Their first encounter at SummerSlam was brilliant, and the Rated-R Superstar played some mind games by coming out to his Brood theme song before "Metalingus."

Edge brought physicality to this match, and he speared Rollins through the ropes onto the outside. Edge went for another spear in the ring but Rollins countered it with a Pedigree for the near-fall. Nevertheless, Rollins came up short with Edge applying a sleeper hold to pick up the win.

Seth Rollins and AJ Styles hit a home run in a fantastic Universal Championship match at Money in the Bank 2019. Rolins and Styles are tailor-made for each other with similar styles.

The match went back and forth, and fans were heavily involved in the match. Styles had never won the Universal Championship and he was closing in on the gold with the Phenomenal Forearm. Rollins avoided it and he retained the Universal Championship with a Stomp.

5 Seth Rollins Vs. John Cena - SummerSlam 2015 (4.5 Stars)

The stakes were high in Seth Rollins and John Cena's match at SummerSlam 2015. The Architect's WWE Championship was on the line as was Cena's United States Championship with the winner becoming the first man to hold both titles simultaneously.

Cena's AA is reliable to get the job done but Rollins found a way to kick out of it. The turning point of the match came when the referee was knocked down and Jon Stewart, who hosted SummerSlam interfered and he clocked Cena with a steel chair. Rollins took advantage and he connected with the Pedigree to hold both the WWE and United States Championships.

Cody Rhodes made his epic return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 to face Seth Rollins, and the duo had a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash. This was the curtain-raiser, and it was another barnburner between the pair.

Both men connected with their respective finishers but they were unable to beat the other with it. They were evenly matched, and Rollins pulled Cody's tights with a roll-up, but Cody responded with a roll-up of his own and he pulled the Visionary's tights which were enough to beat Rollins for the second time.

As aforementioned, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes were adversaries at WrestleMania 38. Cody was Seth's mystery opponent, marking his return to WWE for the first time in six years. The atmosphere was electric with fans in disbelief.

It was one of the best matches over the two nights of WrestleMania, several high spots had fans on the edge of their seats. Moreover, Seth threw the kitchen sink at Cody by executing the Pedigree but Cody kicked out. Ultimately, it took three Cross Rhodes from Cody to mark his return to WWE with a huge win over the former World Champion.

2 Seth Rollins Vs. Edge - Crown Jewel 2021 (4.75 Stars)

Seth Rollins and Edge's incredible rivalry that was arguably the feud of 2021 reached its end at Crown Jewel. They were locked in the confines of a Hell in a Cell, and this match did not fail to disappoint. It was Edge's second Hell in a Cell match with Rollins competing in his fourth.

A slew of weapons was included in the match with both using them to inflict pain on the other. Nonetheless, the WWE Hall of Famer prevailed after he connected with a vicious Stomp on the chair which was taking a leaf out of the Visionary's book.

Cody Rhodes deserves a lot of credit for not pulling out of his Hell in a Cell match with Seth Rollins at the 2022 Hell in a Cell premium live event. The American Nightmare tore his pec and when he took off his jacket, his bruise covering the top part of his chest was unveiled.

Fans in the crowd winced, but that did not stop either man from holding back. Rollins showed no mercy as he connected with some vicious kendo stick shots to the injured area. The curtain was brought down to a fantastic rivalry in a five-star epic with Cody scoring a third consecutive win over the Visionary in the main event.
