Sonya Deville is one of the top stars in WWE right now, having put together a brilliant start to her career. She is still early on in her run with the company, but there have been plenty of great moments already. She has been able to work as a top heel, establishing herself for the fans.

Sonya Deville's most memorable feud within NXT was against Ruby Riott. Sonya Deville hadn't been in NXT for too long when the company decided to bring her to the main roster. This took place when Paige returned to the show, as she brought Deville and Mandy Rose with her, creating the group known as Absolution.
They were out to cause havoc, and initially caught the attention of everybody in wrestling. Seeing Paige with two fresh names was something that worked well. However, because of Paige's career-ending injury, Absolution never quite got the long-term run that they deserved.
5 Chasing The Tag Titles
When Paige's time inside the ring came to an end, WWE decided to keep Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose together as a team. It was a wise idea as they became Fire and Desire. Because they're genuine best friends, it was easy for them to have a connection in promos and as wrestlers.
They were heavily involved in the women's tag team division, chasing the titles regularly. They never ended up holding the titles, which was a mistake on WWE's behalf, but they were a memorable part of the division.
4 Working With Dolph Ziggler
When Mandy Rose's storyline took her into a relationship with Otis, splinters in her friendship with Sonya Deville began. This led to them feuding, with Rose's other love interest, Dolph Ziggler, deciding to team up with Deville. They went against Rose and Otis regularly.
It was a great time for Deville, as this was a period for her to break out on her own. She was able to showcase what qualities she had and the improvements that had taken place. Her promos and in-ring work were fantastic, and it gave fans an idea of what was to come from her.
3 Loser Leaves WWE
Arguably the biggest storyline she has had to this point was against Mandy Rose. After all the relationship angle was put away, it led to the two former friends pushing each other. They held nothing back, and that led to a major SummerSlam match where the loser had to leave WWE.
They had a brilliant match against each other, showcasing how talented both women were. But in the end, Sonya Deville was defeated, which led to her taking some time away from the company.
2 Authority Figure
When WWE decided to bring Sonya Deville back to television, they did so within an authority figure role. Originally starting as an assistant to Adam Pearce, she then kicked on to be booked at the same level as him. The two of them work together to ensure the shows run as smoothly as possible.

When Sonya Deville was originally brought in as an authority figure, she was impartial, and just did the job on a basic level. However, WWE began adding more layers to that character, which led to her becoming a heel who would abuse her power more.
This has been particularly key during her feud with Naomi. She pushed her rivals' buttons regularly, not giving her any opportunities. It has led to them competing several times, with the rivalry also blending in with Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair's, which has helped to make it more exciting.
