Survivor Series is seen as one of the 'big four' PPVs for WWE, making this a crucial event. While there might not have been any major title changes like most PPVs provide, Survivor Series was a great reminder of the in-ring talent that WWE has.

7 Battle Royal

The battle royal was simply put onto the card as a manner of getting as many people on the card as possible. However, that didn't make it a good match, as this one was quite weak as far as battle royals go, which is mainly because it felt like a giant advertisement for Pizza Hut.

R-Truth brought the pizza into the ring and they then ended the match with The Street Profits launching it at the fans. Inside the ring, there was little of note going on in this one, with this being a feature to make Omos look as dominant as possible.

6 Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Damian Priest

Out of all of the matches, this one had the worst build, which is why it was placed on the pre-show. It also explains why there was a complete lack of crowd investment in this match, despite the efforts of both Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest.

Rick Boogs was key to bringing energy to this match, and the spot that finished the match with Priest breaking his guitar and nailing Nakamura was a fun moment to end things. However, the lack of a clean finish and the fact that the crowd was so quiet did hurt this one overall.

5 RK-Bro vs. The Usos

There was plenty of star power involved in this particular match, which instantly made it an enjoyable one with the WWE Universe being firmly invested. The two teams worked well together throughout the match, and all four men got their time to shine.

Riddle was the most impressive within this one, particularly through the selling ability that he was able to provide. The Usos were on point with their teamwork, while the finish out of nowhere was perfect, as usual.

4 Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (Women's Elimination Match)

This was a match of two halves, as the opening section was fantastic, while the closing moments were frantic and a little messy at times. Some of the action was fantastic in this encounter, particularly the back-and-forth between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.

However, things then ended up feeling rushed when it came towards the finish as they ran through the eliminations. While Bianca Belair being a sole survivor was a good call, how they got to that spot was not.

3 Roman Reigns vs. Big E

This match started slow and methodical, which is the pace of Roman Reigns matches. However, the pace did stop the fans from getting involved for a while. As the match wore on, the audience participation grew, which helped make this one feel special.

It was a case of two physical wrestlers throwing their best shots at each other to see who would stay down. The match had a simple story, yet an effective one and overall it led to a brilliant match between two of WWE's top names right now.

2 Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (Men's Elimination Match)

This match was a lot of fun, which is no surprise considering the talent involved in this one. Three count-out eliminations was slightly over the top, but for Kevin Owens, it made sense, while the brawl with Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley did protect them.

The match had great pace and energy and featured plenty of great spots. Austin Theory was able to thrive in this one, which was great to see. The match also worked as a real showcase for Jeff Hardy, and even though he lost at the end, he gained a lot from the finish with Seth Rollins.

1 Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair

There was a lot of hype and expectation surrounding this match due to the build and the real-life heat between the two former friends. Thankfully, it lived up to all of that and more, with this being an excellent fight between two of the best workers in the business.

They tapped into the heat between them with some hard-hitting moments and real tension. Yet at the same time, there was also some great wrestling on display. The finish of Becky Lynch holding the ropes to win straight after Charlotte Flair had tried to cheat was clever, and it allowed both women to still look great during the finish.
