Survivor Series is getting the shake-up it has needed for a number of years in 2022. Not only because the tired battle of the brands concept has been dropped, but because Triple H has brought the WarGames concept he revived for NXT to the main roster for the first time. What will hopefully be a return to form for Survivor Series goes down live on Peacock in the US and on the WWE Network elsewhere on November 26, 2022. The premium live event will begin at 8 pm EST, or an hour earlier if you want to catch the kickoff show, and everything announced for it so far can be found below.

Participants for the women's WarGames match and a singles match between AJ Styles and Finn Balor was added to the card during the November 14, 2022 edition of Raw.

Men's WarGames Match

It was a given from the moment Triple H revealed WarGames would be coming to the main roster that The Bloodline would be one of the four teams competing in the brutal match type. All five members of the dominant faction will step inside the two-ring cage this Saturday, and their opponents will be The Brawling Brutes with a couple of special guests.

The result of this one might be harder to predict than you think. Yes, a Bloodline win is likely, but this is also a chance to show cracks in the group without anyone losing a title. Look out for hints that Sami Zayn will need to be rescued by Kevin Owens at some point beyond this match too.

Women's WarGames Matchwomen's wargames match

Damage CTRL has been feuding with Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss for so long, it would have been wrong if the six of them didn't compete in a WarGames match. The trouble is, the match is 5-on-5, so the trios have had to recruit two more members each.

Belair has beaten Bayley quite a lot during their rivalry, so an opportunity to have Bayley get a win back here makes the most sense. Especially if Damage CTRL is staying together. It also allows for a fallout on the babyface team from which The EST's next challenger might arise.

Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi for the SmackDown Women's Championship

It might be fair to say that WWE's women's division needs a few new big players. That the champions need new challengers. It seems Shotzi has been hand-selected to be the next one who is afforded the chance to make that jump having won a six-pack challenge to earn a shot at Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series.

Although Shotzi has been selected to make the step up, barring a very big swerve it's highly unlikely she'll be picking up a win over Rousey. The Rowdy One to retain in this one, and the Superstar who will dethrone her remains unclear, suggesting she'll have that title for a while.

Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins vs. Austin Theory for the United States Championship

A card with two WarGames matches on it, and this might well end up being the match of the night. Seth Rollins is one of the best wrestlers in the business right now, it looks like we're about to see something special from Austin Theory, and Bobby Lashley is a dominant force. Potentially the perfect recipe for a great match this weekend.

Picking a winner, despite the talent here, it has to be Rollins. He hasn't had the title long but is already working wonders when it comes to building it back up. Switching it so soon runs the risk of undoing the hard work he has put in so far.

AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor

You'd have thought the issues between The OC and The Judgment Day would have been best put to rest inside the WarGames cage, but apparently not. Probably because that would have required WWE to commit to an intergender match. Instead, the groups' respective leaders will clash in the form of AJ Styles and Finn Balor.

It feels wild to say a singles match might be the best of the night on a show with two WarGames matches. This could be exactly that though, and it really doesn't matter who wins. Triple H is a big fan of The Judgment Day apparently, so Balor to win this one with a little help from the group.
