If there were any questions about what the future might hold for Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in WWE, the company might have answered them on Wednesday morning when they tweeted a teaser for the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view. Essentially, it doesn't look like these two will be staying away from each other despite the reported heat that seems to exist and rumors of a backstage confrontation.

It's been one of the bigger news items of the week. Charlotte and Becky had an issue in the ring last Friday night on SmackDown in a segment that allegedly didn't go as planned and has earned Charlotte some heat backstage. Flair dropped the title on the mat in what many are reporting as an effort to make Lynch look less than ideal. Lynch didn't take kindly to it, nor did a few others in the locker room and there's been some chatter about what this means for Flair moving forward. Apparently, WWE doesn't have a plan to operate any differently than business as usual.

In a social media post on Wednesday, the company tweeted a promotional poster for the upcoming Survivor Series event and the promo features Lynch vs. Flair as a champion-vs-champion match. While the card is obviously subject to change and a lot can happen between now and then, that WWE is teasing the idea of these two women in a headlining match together means they aren't shying away from this as a possible battle down the road.

What Does This Mean?

While it's just a poster, there are a few assumptions that can be made from the ad. First, WWE plans on having Flair be a part of the future and is actively promoting her as a big part of the Survivor Series show. Second, even though Lynch didn't mention the SmackDown incident on Raw this week, WWE has no qualms about teasing a match between these two. It's smart considering the buzz that is coming out of that SmackDown program.
