10 Failed Big Boot

Undertaker big boot to John Cena

The big boot is a move that has been in The Undertaker's arsenal throughout his career, and is something he has hit thousands of times and made to look great. However, his attempt at WrestleMania 34 against John Cena was not one of those, as this time it went very wrong.

'Taker went to hit the move but it was nowhere near Cena's face, and while he did his best and sold it as if there had been a connection, it was painfully clear that the move had never connected.

9 The Undertaker Vs. His Jacket

Undertaker stuck in his gear

The Undertaker has always had fantastic ring gear, which is one of the reasons he stood out as such a major superstar. However, at the Raw 700th episode, he suffered a huge issue as he got into the ring and attempted to take his coat off, as it ended up being stuck to him.

This created a funny situation for fans as he desperately tried to free himself from the jacket to proceed with the segment. It was a video that Vince McMahon ended up using to prank him by showing it on the titantron in front of the locker room to wind him up even further.

8 An Underwhelming Chokeslam

Hulk Hogan v Undertaker Judgment Day 2002 Cropped

The Undertaker competing against Hulk Hogan should have led to a brilliant match at Judgement Day in 2002, and while they did their best throughout the encounter there were obvious problems. The biggest one took place when the Deadman attempted to hit a Chokeslam to his opponent.

However, there was an issue between them in the moment, whether it was down to communication, Hogan not getting up or Undertaker not using his strength. Because of that, the Chokeslam ended up looking weak, with this being a clear mistake.

7 WrestleTool

Undertaker botched promo

WrestleMania is a show that The Undertaker is typically associated with so most people would expect that he knows the name of it perfectly. However, in the build to his iconic WrestleMania 25 encounter against Shawn Michaels that turned out to not be the case.

He ended up calling the show "WrestleTool" before he quickly fixed things himself, not allowing anybody to jump on him for it. While it was great that he addressed the issue himself, it was still something that fans recalled and noticed at the time.

6 Motorcycle Issues

The Undertaker has always been brilliant at making an entrance, whether that was with his dark and scary version that would be full of smoke and fireballs or as the American Badass as he would ride down to the ring on a motorcycle. At Vengeance 2003, he was supposed to do the latter, but things didn't go to plan.

He got to the top of the entrance ramp but when he looked to start his bike it didn't end up working. It left Undertaker looking foolish as he had to just get off the motorcycle and walk down to the ring instead, leaving it behind him.

5 A Smashing Entrance

Undertaker smashes the glass

The Undertaker's final ever wrestling match was a unique one considering that it took place as a cinematic encounter with the Boneyard match, but it was an exciting one. However, while it might have all been pre-taped, that doesn't mean that there weren't issues as there was a botch involved.

This one took place early on when Undertaker looked to punch AJ Styles in the head, but he moved and the Deadman hit the glass of the car. However, his arm ended up breaking it which led to him bleeding heavily, with none of that being part of the plan.

4 Goldberg Issues

Undertaker v Goldberg Super ShowDown 2019 Cropped

The Undertaker competed against Goldberg at Super ShowDown in 2019, and while this was a dream match for many people it ended up being a disaster for both of them. This was littered with botches from both men, and many of them ended up being very dangerous due to the impact that was taking place.

Goldberg was concussed in this one because of headbutting the door before his match, and that set off a train of errors. Undertaker dropped Goldberg directly on his head at one point while the former WCW star slammed 'Taker down on his neck as well, creating a disaster.

3 WrestleMania 25 Dive Goes Wrong

The Undertaker WrestleMania dive Cropped

The Undertaker's WrestleMania 25 match against Shawn Michaels is often considered to be the greatest encounter in WWE history, and the fact that it featured a major botch showcases just how good the rest of it was. This is one of the most famous spots in Undertaker's career, even though it went wrong.

He hit a huge dive outside the ring, and at the time the cameraman, who was a planted professional wrestler, was supposed to catch him. That didn't go to plan, and instead, Undertaker landed directly on his head and neck in an extremely scary spot.

2 Failed Tombstone Reversal

Undertaker v Reigns WrestleMania 33 Cropped

The WrestleMania 33 main event between The Undertaker and Roman Reigns was extremely poor, with the Deadman admitting that he wasn't pleased with his performance that night. There were clear timing issues throughout the encounter, with this one having several botches.

However, one of the most obvious was when Undertaker looked for a Tombstone Piledriver, which he couldn't hit. This was then supposed to be reversed by Reigns for him to hit it himself, but the Deadman couldn't make it happen and they both fell down which led to frustrations.

1 In Flames

The Undertaker Fire Incident WWE

The biggest botch of The Undertaker's career wasn't one that was his fault, but it is something that could have cost him his life as it was that serious. The Undertaker's entrances were always elaborate and filled with pyro, but when he was heading to the ring at the Elimination Chamber 2010 things went wrong.

For some reason, one of the balls of fire was hit right as Undertaker stood over the top of it meaning he was completely engulfed in the flames. Fortunately, his jacket ended up saving him in this situation, but it was still a seriously risky situation for him.
