The Undertaker is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, who was respected by peers and seen as the locker room leader. Undertaker hung up his boots at Survivor Series 2020 after a successful 30-year run with WWE. Undertaker may have not always featured in the World Championship title picture, but he was a constant presence in major storylines.

Whilst, Undertaker stands in at 6'10 and around the 300-pound mark, Undertaker is extremely agile for a man of his size. The Phenom's career has been nothing short of extraordinary, and he boasted a legendary unbeaten WrestleMania streak for 23 years. Generally, the majority of Undertaker's matches have been phenomenal, but some of his encounters have been forgettable. Dave Meltzer's five-star rating system for matches can be questionable at times, and the same can be said for some of Undertaker's encounters.

10 Overrated: The Undertaker Vs. Bret Hart Vs. Steve Austin Vs. Vader - In Your House: Final Four, 1997 (4.25 Stars)

There was a unique four corners elimination match for the vacant WWE Championship at In Your House: Final Four. The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Steve Austin, and Vader clashed and you could eliminate your opponent over the top rope or by pinfall or submission.

This was a brawl with Undertaker and Vader fighting on the outside of the ring at the beginning. Blood was dripping from the right side of the Mastodon's eye and cheek. Nonetheless, the Hitman captured his fourth WWE Championship after he eliminated Undertaker all thanks to Austin, who was already eliminated.

9 Underrated: The Undertaker Vs. Edge - One Night Stand 2008 (3.5 Stars)

The Undertaker and Edge battled in a TLC match at One Night Stand 2008 with the winner becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion. Undertaker had to win this match, otherwise, he'd be banished from WWE. Dave Meltzer underrated this overlooked TLC match which was brilliant.

Despite interference from La Familia in the closing stages, Undertaker and Edge knocked it out of the park. Edge put Undertaker through a table with a splash, and the Deadman chokeslammed Edge onto a ladder. He was close to regaining the World Heavyweight Championship after he put Edge through a couple of tables with the Last Ride. Somehow, the Rated-R Superstar emerged from the rubble, and he pushed Undertaker off the ladder and through some tables onto the outside, and he unhooked the World Heavyweight Championship.

The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar were enclosed in a Hell in a Cell match for the second time in the main event of Hell in a Cell 2015. Undertaker's in-ring career was beginning to wind down but this was one of his best performances in years against Lesnar.

Their bout was violent as expected. Blood was shed, and on the exposed mat, Undertaker performed the Tombstone on the Beast Incarnate. Lesnar kicked out, but it took a trio of F5s for Lesnar to beat Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell, which was a competitive match but overrated.

7 Underrated: The Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels - Royal Rumble 1998 (3.5 Stars)

The Undertaker challenged Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship in a casket match at the 1998 Royal Rumble. Moments into the contest, Undertaker hoisted Michaels over the top rope but unfortunately, Michaels herniated some discs in his back after he landed awkwardly at the back edge of the casket.

Despite Michaels grimacing throughout the bout, this was still a magnificent casket match between the pair. HBK deserves a lot of credit for continuing this match, and both competitors did a good job. There was a jaw-dropping Tombstone from Undertaker to Michaels in the casket. Kane interfered, and he chokeslammed Undertaker into the casket with Michaels and Triple H shutting the lid with HBK retaining the WWE Championship.

6 Overrated: The Undertaker & Roman Reigns Vs. Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre - Extreme Rules 2019 (4 Stars)

Extreme Rules 2019 was the final time that The Undertaker competed in front of a live audience in North America before his retirement. Undertaker and Roman Reigns clashed with Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred tag team match in a curtain-raiser.

There was tons of action that happened, and Elias got himself in the match. Parts of the action were clunky, but Undertaker finished off Shane with a Tombstone Piledriver to get the show off to a positive start.

5 Underrated: The Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar - No Mercy 2002 (4 Stars)

The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar's first Hell in a Cell match was at No Mercy 2002, and Lesnar's WWE Championship was up for grabs. Undertaker was functioning at less than 100% as he had a cast on his hand, but he still managed to battle on with a broken hand.

This was a violent contest and both participants were bleeding. Undertaker gave it his best shot and he pushed Lesnar to the limit. However, Lesnar picked up another scalp in his debut year with WWE as he saw off one of the most prolific Hell in a Cell performers in history with an F5 to successfully defend the WWE Title.

4 Overrated: The Undertaker Vs. Triple H - WrestleMania 27 (4.5 Stars)

A decade after their battle at WrestleMania 17, The Undertaker and Triple H were once again squaring off on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Their No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 27 was the best match on a lackluster edition of WrestleMania.

Triple H attempted to break Undertaker's unblemished record with a Tombstone Piledriver. That wasn't going to be enough to keep Undertaker down. Their match was good but Dave Meltzer overrated it. Furthermore, with a sledgehammer in his hand, Triple H was unable to use it as Undertaker incapacitated him with the Hell's Gate, and he extended his WrestleMania streak to 19-0.

3 Underrated: The Undertaker Vs. Kurt Angle - No Way Out 2006 (4 Stars)

The Undertaker returned at the 2006 Royal Rumble, and he challenged Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of No Way Out. This match was off the charts, and fans were mesmerized by what they were witnessing.

Undertaker and Angle went full pelt for half an hour, and the pendulum swung several times. There were several reversals and Angle executed the Angle Slam but Undertaker kicked out. Undertaker had an excellent outing here but credit has to be given to Angle for finding a way to remain as World Heavyweight Champion.

2 Overrated: The Undertaker Vs. Big Show - No Mercy 2008 (3.5 Stars)

The rivalry between The Undertaker and Big Show in the fall of 2008 was better than expected, and their match at No Mercy was decent. Undertaker got the first strikes in the early exchanges of the match. The beginning of the bout was slow-paced but Undertaker quickened the pace.

Undertaker attempted Old School but the World's Largest Athlete countered it with a chokeslam. The Deadman kicked out, and he countered Show's chokeslam with a DDT. Ultimately, Show connected with three KO punches with Undertaker unable to carry on.

1 Underrated: The Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 25 (4.75 Stars)

Somehow Dave Meltzer didn't think that The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels' epic at WrestleMania 25 was worthy of five stars. This was arguably the greatest match in the history of WrestleMania with Undertaker and Michaels knocking it out of the park in an outstanding wrestling match.

Undertaker and Michaels' reversals and resiliency were on show here as Undertaker kicked out of Sweet Chin Music, and Michaels didn't stay down from the first Tombstone. Their instant classic finally came to a halt with Undertaker catching Michaels in mid-air to prevail with the Tombstone Piledriver to extend his remarkable WrestleMania unbeaten streak to 17-0.
