One of the best things WWE is doing right now is the slow burn feud between Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik Mysterio. The father and son were babyface tag team champions once upon a time, but Dominik, who was struggling in his character, has taken off since turning heel and joining The Judgment Day. Rather than rushing into a match between Rey and Dom, WWE has slowly teased it, with Rey first getting himself transferred to SmackDown to avoid his son. With Dominik increasing his attacks on his father, Rey is soon to snap and attack his son, setting up a great match at WrestleMania 39.

Much of their feud mentions the late Eddie Guerrero. Rey and Eddie famously feuded in the last months of Eddie's life, with a tremendous storyline involving Eddie claiming to be Dominik's father. Now, 18 years later, Eddie's widow, Vickie Guerrero, has spoken out about the feud between Rey and Dominik.

"My only reaction is that I wish I was part of it!" Guerrero told The Whole Story. "I just think 'Man, they're having so much fun." Vickie also spoke about Rhea Ripley's involvement. "Dominik and Rhea have always texted me, and we talked back and forth, and they've always had my support."

"It was remarkable how much they looked alike," Vickie said of Dominik's resemblance to Eddie. "I told Dominik 'You have this honorary position of having Eddie live in the storyline, and you have my support.'" When asked who would win between Rey and Dominik, Vickie said, "I'm gonna say Dominik, because he's a little younger and quicker, and I think that would be the logical solution because Rey, I think he's gonna retire." Is There Still Time For Vickie Guerrero To Get Involved In the Rey Mysterio & Dominik Storyline?

Vickie Guerrero was one of the greatest heel characters in WWE history, but was rarely used in AEW. Now that her contract with Tony Khan's promotion has ended, could we see her make an appearance or two in the Rey Mysterio and Dominik feud?

Just as interesting are Vickie's comments about Rey retiring. While the elder Mysterio hasn't said that a possible WrestleMania match against Dominik would be his last, it would be a fitting end, along with the recent announcement of him being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Last week on SmackDown, Dominik challenged his father to a WrestleMania match, but Rey said no. With Dominik looking to bring his own mother into it on this Friday's SmackDown, look for Rey to finally accept his son's challenge for WrestleMania 39.
